What If Noble 6 Survived Reach Part 1

If Noble 6 survived Halo Reach, he joins the Master Chief on the Pillar of Autumn as the co-op second player.

Think about it for a second-... Instead of Locke and the rest being sent to hunt down Chief, what if Noble Six was sent instead, all by his lonesome. Straight outta the mouth of Dr Housley, imagine a showdown between one lethal vector versus the other. I think that there would've been alot more interesting.

Since he is an assassins and known as the grim reaper, using this situation to fake his death would definitely be considerate for him.

Noble 6 was a complete badass. Definitely would've been Master Chief's best bud (besides Johnson, that is)

Honestly i dont care if the lore says hes dead if 343 makes a scene where six jumps out of nowhere to safe chief from Cortona or the guardians id shit myself from happiness and tears

I already managed to last 1 hour on the last "survive" mission. I played in easy mode with that skull that allows the shield to regain life as you use melee blows. After a while only elites started to appear with energy swords, I did an almost instantaneous life recovery cycle. There were so many elite bodies, really, I never saw so many elites killed in one place. Even playing easy and using all my skills, I succumbed ...

This is actually pretty lore friendly, spartans were meant to protect humanity no matter the cost, and the fact noble 6 decided to have a last stand instead of trying to find his own way off the planet always made me sad, since i imaine june and him being an amazing duo again 😔 Rip noble team

Don't forget, Jun survived Reach so 6 isn't really alone

Yes the planet may have been glassed but the covenant would have banshees or phantoms on the planet so they could of lived

Master Chief was a great Spartan, but he was mostly influential due to his incredible luck. Noble 6 was instead just immensely skilled and deadly which is why he got the same rating of hyper-lethal.

I always loved reach so much. The first time I played through it years ago I didn't realize it was a doomed planet to begin with and you inevitably lose in the end, but the characters were written so well and you got attached throughout the story and as they go down one by one you started to realize that you were fighting a losing battle. This is the only game that made me shed a man tear.

Either he goes after chief in place of Locke. Or he teams up with chief. Either way it’s a great showdown or the greatest and most lethal Spartan duo in history.

What if Emile and 6 realized the Pillar of Autumn has it's own MAC cannons and that they don't need to stay behind.

For me he survived, they can bring him back when they need him.

Personally I think Noble 6 joining the Pillar of Autumn or finding Jun and/or castle base is the more likely survival paths. If Keyes sends a pelican to quickly snap up Six (or Emile stays alive and behind and six goes immediately) and then barely get back on the ship as it launches that's a possible path, with Six then following Johnson through the Flood infection resulting in them surviving and possibly Keyes too. Bi-product of that is that Thel Vadameè (the arbiter) potentially dies in a 2 Spartans vs 1 Elite fist fight between CE and Halo 2 (during the events of First strike). This line of events would lead to Six and Chief heading to castle base on Reach. This is where the other alternative timeline potentially comes in. If Six gets to castle base and Jun is still there they could team up and escape Reach whatever way Jun did. Or they could stay at/Near Castle eventually joining the Spartan 2s, slotting them into the events of First strike. If Jun isn't there then there's the possibility that Six on his own joins up with the Spartan 2s in a similar fashion. Surviving First Strike would probably lead ONI to deploy Six to different strategic targets, potentially having Six link up with/fight on the same battlefields as Chief a few times during Halo 2/3 depending on events. Or they could send him to do the job the Job the ODSTs in Halo 3 ODST was sent to do.

I believe that Noble 6's MIA label gives the character and player a more tragic but incredible story.

Halo 6 would be amazing if it had: *More time to flesh out Lock, and Buck's characters. *Bring back noble 6 *Have Cortana freaks out when she finds out Noble six survived Reach, and enters a panic mode to activate the halo rings Halo 6 being about Chief, Lock, Buck, Noble 6, and Arbiter.

Here me out, what if noble six did survive, he was in deep with oni, and oni works in mysterious ways, they could have made it seem he was dead, and in reality he didn’t. Idc what 343 or bungie said, that’s just how I saw his “Death”. Oni works in mysterious ways and my theory is, he’s alive, working for oni.

simple, Master Chief and Six would beaten Locke in an unforgettable way. then the two would blow up each Covenant cruiser using only their own fists

First things first, welcome to the world of RU-vid content creation! Second, given what we know now in the lore, I believe that if Six were to have survived, he would have likely remained on Reach, constantly moving, before finding the other surviving remains of the human insurgency, and help in defending them from the covenant, and eventually Banished.

Six is down on the ground, in the the distance a warhog appears firing a machine at the elites, as the surviving odst help six into the warhog as they blast off full speed being chased by ghosts and phantoms

Has it occured to anyone here that Noble Six is still fighting when the Cutscene fades to black, and actually has yet to be stabbed by anyone attacking? 50/50 he survived.

Nobody seems to notice this little detail, but at the ending cutscene of Pillar of Autumn and in the beginning cutscene of Lone Wolf, Six is heading directly towards the covenant battle cruiser he had previously downed with the mass driver. Cruisers, as well as smaller ships like corvettes, are known to house a variety of covenant ground and air vehicles. One such vehicle is the Covenant Seraph, an aero fighter capable of operating safely in-vacuum. I like to at least acknowledge that Six was trying to get off Reach in any way he could. Whether he made it or not is entirely up to you.

Before I fully watch it I’m just gonna say this to avenge his brothers of noble team Normal sex will become a symptom of Death hunting the covenant and haunting them …. He would be a legends amongst the covenet …. A ghost who kills everyone who wanders into certain planets and sometimes wonders into enemy territory he will be in on killing legend , a Lonewolf avengeing his brothers and reach ….. someone who cool be almost as legendary as the chief maybe even more

Now in terms of how the events happened, he could have simply accepted the offer of evacuating on the pillar of autumn, it wouldn’t be the 1st time Spartans were on the PoA such as Fire team Raven.

I have a fun theory, that if Jorge and Kat survived BEFORE the Pillar of Autumn, it might be possible that Carter would get to the platform safely (Because Jorge and Kat could help with destroying the Banshees and Phantoms in the first cutscene), which would mean all of the Noble Team would get to the Pillar before the enemies are attacking and would join... Just imagine a scenario where Noble Six and MC go on different Spartan missions!

This is now officially the canon ending and will never change.

Found you today in my recommended. Dude, you have the perfect voice for audiobooks, it's incredibly soothing to listen to. It'd be cool to hear a reading of The Fall Of Reach or something similar down the road.

This video is awsome. My only sugestions are that you add some form of facecam or wave form to help visulize your audio and maybe have some fan art or 343 art of whats happening, so when your talking about holding onto the handle you could show a pic from halo 2 when master chief does the same thing with the bomb, or you could show footage of a longsword when Noble 6 gets into it, just have some relation inbetween whats on screen and what your saying. Other than that, this was great, defidently going to sub and cant wait to see what you do next.

If 6 somehow came back in a later game to give the chief a hand I wouldn't be mad. Course it would take away from the last mission on reach, but it would definitely be better than Locke.

FYI, Reach is in Epsilon Eridani. Soell is the Star that Threshold orbits. Threshold is the Gas Giant that Installation 04 orbits.

Reclaimer gaming if you didn't know when asked if noble 6 was truly dead the developers never answered the question they seem to want to completely Veer away from that answer so there is a possibility that in the new Halo infinite since we go back to reach we might get a backstory on what truly happened in the end of reach

Six would have probably circled back and rendezvoused with the other surviving member of Noble Team, Jun. For those that don't remember/didn't hear or understand, Jun, Noble 3, and the team's sniper, didn't have a death scene, and in a canon comic series, he survived and joined the Spartan IV program as one of the recruiters. From here, they, sgtmjr Johnson, and most all of the other forces like any ODSTs they managed to find would have escorted Dr. Halsey back to an FTL capable ship and started their transit to Earth.

He went out like A badass.

It’s my headcanon that 6 is alive. Note headcanon, it typically isn’t a big deviation from the actual canon, but it’s what someone envisions to be their canon essentially. The reason? I’m a big Spartan-III fan, and that’s pretty much it, also along with the fact that there is a slim possibility that he could’ve survived that encounter theoretically, but that doesn’t need to be discussed here.

Noble six and any surviving Spartans and unsc forces could’ve commandeer a phantom and banshees, could’ve held an elite at gunpoint to communicate with covenant forces to avoid arousing suspicion probably could’ve made the elite into an ally creating a similar arbiter/chief friendship

2:50 I'm pretty sure that Reach was 6's first encounter with the Covenant. He was only fighting insurectionists before he joined Noble team.

You know, there are two options for which Noble 6 could not only survive but go with the ship and master chief. First, before emile dies, there is enough time that noble 6 coukd have used a dmr or sniper rifle to give emile fire support when attacked by the elites on the mac turret, letting emile survive and then taking the pelican. Second, a hijacked banshee nearby could be used to catch up to the ship after shooting down the covie ship. My first run of that mission I had both options, I had a sniper rifle and hated the cutscene preventing me from saving emile when I could easily have done so, but I had also grabbed banshee with a lucky plasma pistol shot.

Legendary ending play out the same but when you see his helmet after he dies you see his legs appear next to his helmet as he picks it up and walks away

I just watched all your "What if" videos so far, and I hope to see more. You've just earned yourself a subscriber my friend. Edit: Hmm... I wonder if I should have made this comment on the most recent one? I suppose it doesn't matter too much. Regardless great work, it feels like you actually care, unlike the writers of Halo 5.

I wrote a fanfic about this in college. Fem six survived, hijacked a Forerunner ship, jumped into slipspace to catch up to the Pillar of Autumn, crashed on another planet and suffered from amnesia. After being rescued and rehabilitated, Six recovers her memory, and goes into the field with Master Chief, who has just come out of stasis after the events of Halo 3. Later, on plantary leave, Six and John cross paths again, have a one night stand, and conceive twin boys. The boys are taken away to an orphanage. 20 years later, the boys are conscripted into the SPARTAN-V program. I didn’t get much further than that.

If 6 survived the human covenant war would have ended halfway thru Halo CE

If Six survived it would be covered up by ONI I mean they didn't have a statue of him for a reason but every dead member. It wouldn't surprise me at all.

for six to survive my theory is that his neck padding would take the hit and he pretended to be dead to fool the elite zealots then he escaped

I still miss Noble 6 (from Halo Reach) and Rookie (from Halo 3: ODST). Sadly, they never returned anymore.

I mean bungie said what happened to six is up to the player. I say he survived and survived in a oni bunker or went to the unglassed part of reach. I mean he only had to defeat 3 elites to survive and he great at being a lone wolf and surviving behind enemy lines so he’d be completely in his element.

Then a lot more people on Earth and in the sol system would of been saved.

Spartans never die.... but speaking of which if he had lived I would’ve enjoyed the Reach campaign. My thoughts through the whole game were “how is he going to get out of this and turn things around?... oh... this game sucks!” And if he was able to be the one who went after master chief instead of some random new character that no one cared about, that would’ve made halo 5 playable just for the story’s sake.

There are quite a few fanfics out there that speculate on this(one of my favorites include a female Sangheili OC)
