I feel like it's more common for Obi-wan to die. I hope he survives this one, as I haven't finished it yet. But both of them surviving is always a win.
I really enjoyed this one. I don't know why but I love the idea of Sidious being okay with (or even proud of) dying by Anakin's hand as he turns, it's almost kinda wholesome in a weird and messed up way.
What if the Jedi were ACTUALLY trying to take over, like, even just a small portion, some are convinced the senate is run by the sith, and launch an attack to kill palpatine IN THE MIDDLE OF A SENATE MEETING.
Still waiting for "What if Luke left for the Academy before the rebels showed up?" Would he use an Alias on the advise of Lars? Would the name "Skywalker" raise red flags right away, and lead to an early encounter with Vader? Or would he go under the radar, and eventually become enamored with/hateful of the empire's ways of enforcing order? I mean, it's clear Luke only ever wanted adventure and to see the galaxy. I can't really see him going onboard, unless Vader manages to arrange an early father-son reunion on good terms. Personally I'd love to think that Luke would get found by Vader, but Vader, being angry that Palpatine lied to him about Padme surviving long enough to give birth, would keep him secret and start to turn back.
In the Legends continuity at least, it's stated that Skywalker is actually a really common name in that part of the galaxy, so Luke using his real name wouldn't be a problem. If that weren't the case he'd've likely been raised as Luke Lars.
@@DarthSanguine And of course Tatooine is a planet nobody cares about (at least not the core worlds), so the Empire would've thought nothing of there being someone with the last name Skywalker there (especially since that's where Anakin came from so the plausibility of other Skywalkers living there is believable).
@@thestarwarsgalaxy I got one you could do, What if the sith were truly were extinct by the time of the prequel era and the Jedi were just paranoid and corrupt?
@@B3an01 Her floating back is unreal since the vacuum should had boiled her blood away&froze her body. The HISHE for it is a good description of the failure of the movie. In the pre-Disney/Legends comics, Leia can teleport herself in short range.
I didn't say killed. I said his neck was broken. He's permanently paralyzed, full quadriplegic. One can assume he'd still be able to use the Force to some extent, but he'd be looking at a long recovery at best. How would that change his plans for the end of the war?
7:21 padme has no self preservation instincts whatsoever lmao Also can you do what if anakin was born on exagol or what if anakin found and saved darth venamis
As we know darth vader was a natural engineer and could use technoguru or whatever so what if he used skill to create nanobots to repair his lungs and burns while also making limbs that could conduct the force to make lightning. This could relate to inquisitor baris as she used nanobots in the bomb and he may remember nanobots and their uses. He could could also conduct experiments diguised as torture to fool sidious, learning to heal wounds, make force sensitive droids/limbs and using nano bots to manipulate mididclorians to strip or enhance the force in individuals.
What if Anakin was the Dark Lord of the Sith from the beginning?! Kind imagined that his mother participated in a ritual (satanic style but instead it's the sith) and that the little anakin is the new envelope of a sith, such as Darth Vititate, Nihilus, Bane or Plagueis. 😱😈💀
It might have worked for Plagueis. These attempts to control the minichlorians through Sith alchemy agreed to make the Force create Anakin. What I'm getting at for Plagueis is that he could have used these methods to achieve immortality by transferring his essence into the body of a young embryo. But he would be betrayed earlier by Sidious (Chancellor or not) and killed...except that what I'm getting at is that he would have succeeded in his transfer project but would have lost all his memory (temporarily). The force will always create Anakin except that without her wanting it, she will create a new receptacle for Plagueis (or for another Sith). That's my point of view of the situation and why I think that for Plagueis, it could work. Sidious could have betrayed Plagueis earlier, if the opportunity presented itself. The Sith are treacherous, even when it is not the right time for treachery. For example when Plagueis betrays and kills his former master Darth Tenebrous, causing the failure of a plan created by Tenebrous.
@@KYRRUM At that point, though, you're _significantly_ altering the timeline of events in a way that would realistically "butterfly" out Palpatine's ability to become chancellor. Plageuis was instrumental in laying the groundwork for Sidious's rise to power _and_ Dooku's fall, if you kill him nine years earlier than in the original timeline it's likely that the entire plot of Star Wars wouldn't happen.
You forget a crucial point: RU-vidrs creating Star Wars What If videos have the habit of very often changing certain important points in the canon history or legend of Star Wars. So, we can imagine that when Plagueis does his "ritual", he has already taught Sidious everything or enough for Sidious to feel confident enough to betray his master. 🤔🙄🧐
@@KYRRUM "RU-vidrs creating Star Wars What If videos have the habit of very often changing certain important points in the canon history or legend of Star Wars." Yesn't. Most what-if creators will change canon elements, but only within the scope of their story. One big change as the event that kicks off the what-if, and a few small ones to fill in any potential plotholes. If anything does significantly change something outside of that scope, it's usually due to a difference in character interpretation, not an intentional change. What _you're_ suggesting is the complete and total upheaval of the plot to fit the purposes of the what-if, with zero consideration for any other effects.
What if anakin never lost his arm? What if anakin reached his full power in episode 3 and simply what if anakin was a bit smarter and could tell that sidious was lying to him
Ok, here's an idea. What if Darth Vectivus (the Sith Scholar who did no evil) was somehow alive in the prequel era (perhaps the after-effects of a dark side ritual caused him to wake up on Tatooine in a new body after his death) and took young Anakin as an apprentice just before the events of TPM? Just keep in mind that Vectivus's interest in the dark side was purely academic in nature so he wouldn't have antagonized the Jedi beyond philosophical debates on the nature of the Force.
Loved the story but a small cool detail to add could be anakin using force lightning, considering he has been hit by it in the past and if he’s using the dark side he might as well use lightning
I like the idea for you telling a story, that happened in few hours or only days. That will boost your imagination and help you make more stories without the big time consumer that is the planning the grand scheme of things. I wish you success and for us the joy of it. O7
I want the Rian Johnson AotC where Dooku betrays and beheads Palpatine and audiences are like "But he's The Emperor?" "What have you done?!" "I just saved the galaxy, boy." "You're a liar and a murderer!" "Perhaps I am both, but you will find in the late Chancellor's possessions, ample evidence of his true nature and agenda. This entire conflict was a product of his machinations." "No, no, it can't be true!" "Look into your heart..."
What if Maul rescued Darth Vader on mustafar, who would drop Darth from his name, as he realizes the Sith ultimately caused the death of Padme. Maul would also be able to offer revenge on Obi wan. Perhaps Maul would use Nightsister Magick to heal him.
This was a surprising story. I did not expect Obi-wan to kill Dooku, however, I could follow his reasoning. That said, it was surprising that nothing ever came of keeping that secret that Obi-wan knew about Palpatine and hence needed Dooku to die to keep that secret. I was also surprised that R2 was forgotten like a plot device. Once he served his purpose of signaling for help, he was not mentioned again. I kept waiting for his name on the list of escaping off the ship, but it was never confirmed nor denied. This said, great use of Padme to call Anakin back from darkness and I loved the use of Stass Allie as an example of force healers, she was on a list again, but not on a list of the dead, thank you for that. This was a fine story, dramatically presented with shrieking darkness leaving Anakin, the explosions of the CIS ships and yes, a good thumbnail. I did like the small scale, a very personal scale. A story doesn't always have to be grand. For once, the writing wasn't up to your usual natural flow of events making sense in context of the story. Obi-wan keeping a secret that never had an impact, only used as a pretext to kill Dooku when it was out of character for Obi-wan to do so normally and the disappearance of R2. Otherwise a fine job, glad this is a story you wanted to tell. Be well.
What if anakin was piloting before attack of the clones and sensed ventress fall to the darkside as her master died and took his ship to the planet to investigate. Perhaps starting a romance as they are very similar in their stories. Also what if ahsoka taught ben skywalker as she saw him as history repeating itself. What if anakin was a jedi watchmen or wayfinder. What if anakin went with kenobi to face maul and savage instead of adi gallia. What if anakin fell in love with luminara or your own version of aayla secura romance. What if oppo rancis trained anakin. What if anakin met and fell in love with ventress just before the clone wars just after her masters death. What if anakin became a jedi sentinel like a watchmen or one of those who find younglings. What if evan piel became a mentor or second master to anakin. Or anakin became a healer either before or after his mother death could be related to his friendship with offee or alternatively what if he was trained by tra sa who taught windu and actually did not forbid attachment as shown by her relationship with tholme , they could become like a pseudo parents to anakin and train him away from the temple in azati martial arts and from trasa the living force as she is a plant lady so imagine anakin controlling plant life.
I think you mean Ben Solo, as Ben Skywalker is Luke's son from the Legends continuity, who successfully resisted his cousin Jacen Solo's attempts to turn him to the dark side.
@@theanomaly2587 OK turbovirgin but there is actually also a Myriad of Health Benefits to having a healthy sex life that have nothing do to with having a kid.
Less serious(or you could make it serious): What If Anakin underestimated his own power More Serious: What if Anakin lost his robotic hand instead of his
I wish this was how the events really played out in today’s movie and then no darth Vader but then than would probably be the end of the skywalker saga
Good story, Took a different pathing then expected but still enjoyable. Can you do what if obi wan used a lightsaner throw or the force to kill grevious in revenge of the sith. Also what if Obi wan, to match his defensive formed, learned how to absorb force attacks and throw them back at someone. Hope one or both of these would pique your interest.
Here are some ideas for you. What if Ezra Bridger was a Jedi during The Republic era? What if Anakin Skywalker trained Omega? What if Anakin Skywalker had The Bad Batch instead of the 501st? What if Kanan survived and went with Ezra to Peridea?
@@linda-0587 No, he wouldn't. Dooku was always skilled enough to defeat Anakin without harming him permanently, but implicit in any duel sanctioned against Anakin, and several were, is the fact that Dooku may have to kill Anakin to defend himself. In any event, Dooku was too important to the plan to kill until the timing was right. Killing Anakin say in 20 BBY would mean Dooku was still too important to kill. Also, if Sidious ever did disavow Dooku, whose to say Dooku doesn't use the CIS to defeat the Republic instead of intentionally losing the War? Or simply rat out Sidious to Yoda and the Jedi.
Day 16: What if Jaesa Willsaam (light side) was in the Clone Wars? The idea is that shortly after Jaesa is recruited by the Sith Warrior, Darth Baras realizes the potential threat. He manages to capture her and freeze her in carbonite. After Darth Baras dies, Jaesa is never found and is eventually forgotten for the next 3000 years. Then, during the Battle of Christophsis, a tunnel to an ancient under city is discovered. Obi-Wan leads a squad of clones into the under city in order to gain a tactical advantage over the separatists. While here, the force leads him to a long forgotten prison. He finds Jaesa here and frees her. Shortly thereafter Jaesa rejoins the Jedi and becomes Obi-Wan's apprentice.
That's what you call a very close shave, cutting it way too close and say "thank the Force she told him the good news first" and did not ask any questions! What is funny about this though is did Padme destroy the Sith, did Anakin destroy the Sith, or did Luke and Leia destroy the Darkness without being born yet!
I've been begging Pente Patrol. Maybe you can do this one. What if Anakin was born female and Padme born male. (But still Monarch of Naboo) There have been Kings of Naboo in Legends. They just usually pick a young girl to be monarch.
Though I think you did have some Grevious mutinies at an earlier point, what if here, Grevious got tired of Dooku and fled with Palpatine? That actually could change quite a lot. I don't think that Grevious knows that Palpatine is Sidious. I just wasn't getting that vibe from Episode III nor the Clone Wars series. I know a lot of fanfictions imply that he does, but I highly doubt he did. I believe that he wasn't THAT corrupt. It's likely that Nute Gunray may have known, or at least suspected it, as it's CLEAR that he KNOWS that Sidious is SOMEONE in the Senate or governmental structure, as his "I will MAKE it legal!" comment doesn't elicit any "How could you do that?"s from Gunray. I'm also under the impression that Gunray may have been ok with the throwing the Separatist cause under the bus, because he says "The war is over, Lord Sidious promised us peace!" instead of "What happened? Why did we keep losing? Dooku, Grevious, and now you? He's tricked us!" or something like that. Also, while I beieve that Mas Ameda knew that Palpatine was Sidious, I'm not even sure TArkin knew, at least initially. (Maybe he was later informed. I think he was just loyal to the Empire because loyalty is his thing. I think its actually possible that, if Tarkin DID now that Palpatine was playing both sides, he would have worked with the Jedi to bring him down. He may have favored a large governmenta nd brutual methods, but I'm not sure he was a fan of treason.)
I am to understand that this entire story happened in just under a week timeline wise?! That’s damn fast!! Day 93 of my list. What if; Anakin never gave into his feelings for Padme (Pentre Patrol did his version), Aayla Secura was the chosen one and became Darth Talon, Shme Skywalker was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett saved his Tusken family, Count Dooku was a regular count for the CIS, Jabba the Hutt supported the Jedi at the Start of the Clone Wars, and finally, what if Sabine and Ezra fell in love?
One that I haven't seen anyone talk about. What if Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon managed to defeat the Droidekas in Episode I and break into the bridge to "negotiate"?
Ok, ok. But what if Doku defeated Anikin, Kanobi, Yoda, Padme, the first batch of clones and mace's jedi strike force on Geonosis? 🤔 I suspect it would be brown trowsers time for both the supposed "grand architect" of this plan and for the republic. Doku: you think me a pawn sidious? You are no master of mine.
I thought this event was good, but it would have been fun to see it play out where they escape and watch how the jedi begin to narrow down on palpatine.
