I've been looking forward for this What if for a long time. I wasn't disappointed. Though I wasn't the symbiote to be Venom from Sony or that teleported to the MCU. Why doesn't the symbiotes exists in the MCU and crash land on Earth like it does in every Marvel continuity? I wasn't expecting Peter to be overly aggressive when Venom bonded to him but I was surprised Peter and Venom having a working and equally partner and Peter having a cool head while still having a strong approach dealing with situations like the Avengers fighting each other. Honestly, I don’t think marvel wants to add symbiote unless there’s a universal reset like dc’s flashpoint. My evidence is the venom and spider crossover on NWH as they most likely did that for advertising, but if they were to introduce symbiote, then all-back, the necrosword Gorr currently uses, was the first symbiote created by knull (creator of symbiotes) should or would have multiple symbiotic qualities but they didn’t show any of that, proving that they do not want to add venom or symbiotes into the MCU.
