This time I took the 80's pop classic 'Don't You (Forget About Me)' by Simple Minds and translated it into Type O Negative style by slowing it down, adding a lot of TON sound elements and bass/baritone vocals with a few higher parts.
This version is also extended from 4 minutes up to 10!

Do Peter Murphy's "Cuts you up" in the style of Type O. I know it's not a famous song, but on Type O's forum in the early 2000s there was a thread about what cover songs they should do, and someone suggested that song. I could totally see them having done it, and that suggestion made me discover Peter Murphy. Fun detail: I have played his song "Strange kind of love" for many people, and I think every single person has liked it, and most people then started listening to it at home :-).

REQUEST INCLUDED: LOVE IT... even the "leaving me every 'ting'". I'm a 55 y/o metalhead / alternative underground / goth who was in radio and had to listen to lots of top 40 crap. I actually like this song from a standpoint of 'catchiness' . A request from me. PLEASE do 'I Know It's Over' by The Smiths.
