Thanks for covering this topic. For sometime, I’ve used the kardshev scale to explain to people how humanity can indeed impact the planet... Also, to define things correctly, it’s actually “Global Climate Destabilization” as warming is secondary and proxy to such Destabilization to begin with.. Already today people are addicted to their phones and can't control their addiction. Life would be too easy, and easy times create weak people. 100 years ago mental health issues didn't exist, depression, panic attacks, anxiety didn't exist. The reason why it exists today is because technology has come so far (phones, planes, cities, ext.) that our brains can not handle it. Its too fast for us to handle. If we are not careful our technology could lead to our downfall.

Weather control sounds lovely, but we all know that the nature of humanity is such that we would use this great ability to decimate those we disagree with. Humanity must get past our petty differences, hold ourselves accountable as individuals, and work together to be successful as a species. If we do these things Type 1 will just be the start of many great accomplishments.

Well, to be fair, we wouldn't necessarily have weather control and, type 1, tbh, is more like a measurement of Earth, so you'd need basically every nation on Earth to unite for that to actually happen.

The most important thing is that we become civilization type 2, i.e. that we can use all of the sun's energy. From this point onwards, we can spread throughout the universe at will and apply the same principle to every solar system. In this way, we scale almost boundlessly into the universe, decentralize ourselves and become immortal because no catastrophic event can affect all of humanity. Well technically it shouldn't take much time to reach type 1 civilization because it depends on our technology development which speed is increasing with time like just 10 years ago our technology was developing with the speed of a turtle but just after 10 years our knowledge and development of discovering/inventing new technologies is like we are basically flying. The rate of developing and inventing new tech just increasing dangerously too fast then even the scientists expected. Like we have already almost developed a machine that can create artificial rain in a small area currently that machine is so much big in size and has very short range off effect but soon we will be able to compect it in size while also increasing its rage tho this research is incomplete which means we actually have no idea that does causing artificial rain to going to effect the natural environment cycle in a bad way or not.

Every country would be a first world country. I'm gonna assume you mean all people that are allowed to work. Many of them won't be able to do their job well, since handicaps and lazy asses still exist. The global economy would experience a severe upturn, but not for long. Although products are made faster, the quality of them will drop. It drops because not everybody will be competent. Many people would fall into stress and start hating each other due to the densely populated workplaces. New workplaces have to be built. Many would revolt since their wages get cut. While some will start getting more money. Since more workplaces have to be built, the constrution-worker-job would be a better financial option than others i imagine. You can probably imagine that the average contruction-worker doesn't possess (no idea how to write possess, english is not my first language) the intelligence of the average office-worker. That's why more people will start whining about the fact, that dumber people make more money. But judging an individuals intellingece by their profession would be an generalization and therefore would lead to rivalries defined by people's jobs. Many would loose their place quick, because they're not needed while others would be forced to stay or work longer. This depends on where they work. The world would strive to bring things back to normal, but the process would be long and hard.

Actually, the Kardashev scale of Type I only requires the civilization to have a certain amount of energy consumption - More than 2x10^13 watts, but some might say 10^16 or even 10^17 watts - Ideally that is the same energy that can be captured from the planet. However, a small misconception sometimes is that the civilization has to store or use all of the renewable energy available by a planet such as earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes and geothermal, but it is impossible to convert 100% of them into usable energy. As long as people in the future can develop large scale nuclear fusion or even matter-antimatter reactors, we will get to Type I.
