To be fair it makes an excellent antagonist, a better Zamasu per say because we have an attachment to Yamcha (at least I do because I’ve always liked Yamcha. so when he turns to evil it really feels like a betrayal because he became good in Dragon Ball).

@@yellowpower3755 Phoenix was a poor sod in life, Yamcha got mundane things going for him, and in the end SPOILERS his goal was to confront society for it's failures, he had at least a little tiny bit of reasoning in that mind in the form of resentment, not offing his circus friend for instance. MK Joker is a universal traveller (aware of other universes, obviously), total bats**t insane who just want to wipe out universes for the thrill. And well, the "classic" Joker can put a sane facade to fool people into his schemes, while Phoenix's Joker was descending into madness and going with the flow the whole time, not at once. Shenron is responsible. I can't help but to see Shenron as kind of a lovecraftian entity now. What has Masako done...

This means, depending on interpretation of who the strongest in U7 is , he's either stronger than Beerus or stronger than Whis, meaning that he might get farther if the latter but either way he'll hit a brick wall at the GP

Prince Vegeta is going to go on such a rant his brain will turn off. Team Four Star started all this however, it's them who should be verry afraid. fun fact no one thought YAMCHA WAS A LOSER BEFore Abridged happened. That'sbecause they exagerated Yamcha's defeats to make him seam worthless, but Yamcha has literaly defeated people stronger than Majin Buu, Frieza and Cell combined in the actual show. Keep in mind though that Vegeta wants to take Azuli away from Krillin and has infact taken away Yamcha's girlfriend. He enjoys taking other men's women because it helps his pride to grow. But yeah he should have the most to fear since he straight out baskes in Yamcha's losses like a true sociopath.

DB era Roshi destroyed the moon, Vegeta destroyed a planet in filler on the way to Earth, and Freeza destroyed Namek back when Super Saiyan was considered strong. At this point you have to be able to punch hard enough to literally shake the fabric of the universe to figure against the main characters.

I think that due to the wishes specific “strongest” request and the clause that he’s losing his mind the fight with Beerus could go in eithers favor. Yamcha would indeed be stronger, but he isn’t immune to fatigue. If he manages to beat Beerus he wouldn’t be able to beat Whis simply because the dragon could have only made him barely any stronger than Whis at all. Combined this with Whis’ cool head, combat experience and general knowledge of people Yamchas dwindling strength won’t mean much after this. An alternative to this fight would be that Whis is going for the time rings. In order to prevent the Omniking from erasing their reality he’ll most likely use the rings to go to the time when Yamcha made his wish to know his legacy and updated the dragon so that Yamcha could see what he was about to become. Whis wouldn’t just fight Yamcha as he’d know he wasn’t in the right state of mind, but he needs this version to know the full truth before Whis decides what to do with him.

1. What if Roshi found the Dragon Balls 300 years prior to the original series and wished for eternal youth? 2. What if Katas went to earth wth his son? 3. What if Piccolo or Kami had kids? 4. What if Gohan and Goten/Trunks and Bra were twins? 5. What if Akira Toriyama didn't have memory problems and planned things ahead? 6. What if Tarble, Turles, Paragus and Broly appeared in the Saiyan Saga?

This is honestly one of the most heartbreaking what-ifs I've heard of. Good job. But honestly, I'd see Yamcha beating Beerus, with Whis warning him 'Not to go any further in this nihilistic vendetta. If he does, he'll only be met in despair.' Yamcha brushing it off and seeing the Angel Vanish before going to the world of the Kais, before facing Lord Zeno...where Yamcha is erased permanently and all life is brought back by the Super Dragon Balls; with Yamcha removed.

Fun fact in the after life tournament Yamcha single handed defeated some blonde guy and a gorila that were as powerful as Picon, someone who single handedly beat Frieza and Cell and Majin Buu. Yamcha in the actual show was no push over or slouch. Infact no one had even seen him as a failure back then until Team Fourstar came along. Even Yamcha destroyed the Universe he still wouldn't have his revenge unless he was able to escape that universe and go straight after Team 4Star themselves.

Issue with that- long before TFS, the 'Yamcha Death Pose' was a super popular thing to mimic in Japan irl, as well as in other animes and video games. It was even copied in Gintama and Naruto. So it was absolutely part of what people knew about him, and honestly one of the more recognizable things, too. Didn't matter he was stronger than a good few people at certain points. What matters is what's remembered, and most people remember him losing, which is where this What If is taking it's fuel from. It's not TFS's fault- it's the Internet's fault.

Before Yamcha does the no more wishes wish, he gets the power of Goku like Krillin did in that one What If. Then after a while, gets immortality and a fully developed Sharingan (Through his now developed sense of Meta Knowledge), then using the Super Dragon Balls to destroy all the other Dragon Balls ever. He then destroys the entire galaxy then puts everyone in Other World under an Infinite Tsukuyomi where they see the entirety of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z with Yamcha as the main character on repeat forever.
