I don't think Anakin would have kids in this what if. And that seemed too easy. Anakin discovered Palatine was the Sith in front of him, he knew Anakin would tell Yoda about him and he just stayed in his office waiting for a dozen of Jedis? I don't think so. Also, Palpatine still had control over the clones, couldn't he executed order 66 to help him? But yes, Yoda being his master would make more sense
I agree, under yoda, anakin probably wouldn't develop attachments, palpatine could've fled and called order 66, and yoda definitely would be a better master than obi wan. Other than that, 👍
And what about order 66 or 65 in play. Soon as the clones came in to arrest the empor he could of executed order 66 and that didn't happen why because mace or some other jedi executed order 65
Yeah, another what-if that ignores consequences of the new outcomes, keeps to original timeline that is already stretched very thin as far as plausibility goes (it's a movie afterall) and refuses to acknowledge that some things just have to happen in some form. Reminds me of the ww2 what-ifs. Some just manipulate the scenario as much as possible to get interesting/desired outcome while others show how the bigger picture has too much of a momentum to change dramatically, how just because we didn't see the plans b-z it doesn't mean they didn't exist.
I disagree I think Yoda would back his apprentice because no none believes in trusting the ways of the force more than yoda. I know yoda would change that rule like they did for revan but as a whole. He’s the chosen one under yoda would have much sffect
What if Count Dooku became Supreme Chancellor with his count name and Fortune in order to help the Jedi what if Anakin and Obi-Wan captured Count Dooku in episode 2
Wouldn’t happen cause he was not a senator or eligible to become the chancellor and dooku was a jedi and didn’t have the requirements to become the supreme chancellor
A couple of problems with your what if: Being trained under Yoda, the following would not happen: He would have the strictest dicipline under Yoda. Therefore; He almost certainly would not have any kind of friendship/bond with Palpatine as he would have barely any contact with him. He wouldn’t have feelings for Padme and thus wouldn’t fall in love with her and marry her, thus negating the existence of Luke and Leia. He would have no nightmares since Palpatine couldn’t get close enough to sense his emotions and plant nightmares in Anakin’s head. His powers by ROTS would be at least 5x greater than depicted in the film.
Yeah, but Palpatine got close to Anakin, not the other way around. The relationship was sought by Palpatine, not Anakin. If they all knew he was the chosen one, then I’m sure Palpatine would have had the same motives to turn him.
@@dirtytacokidsdtk2890 I’m just stating that Master Yoda teaching him apart from the other Jedi would mean he would have very little if no contact with Palpatine. It’s an old rule of sorts when it comes to altering history. The slightest change in it could alter a lot .
Another problem I have with his what ifs is that for some reason, within these big groups of some of the best Jedi around, Palpatine manages to best everyone (including Mace Windu) besides Anakin, despite him QUITE LITERALLY losing to Mace Windu 1v1 in the movies. Lol. How does he beat Windu in these 5v1s when 1v1 he lost to Windu? That always bothers me. If he wanted the story to end with Anakin besting Palpatine, he could've done so by just separating Anakin from everyone else. And have Yoda and the fellow Jedi show up once Palpatine has been disarmed or killed.
@@animegopherIt’s a simple reason behind why Palpatine can win the 5v1 but lose the 1v1. Think of it as any game, you always take out the lesser opponents first. When it came down to focus Mace he just failed, but used it as an opportunity yk
The thing is yoda was technically a battlemaster and could teach all forms. Likely anakin would learn every form but have an movement towards form 4 maybe form 5 but because he knew every form he could pick and choose what he needed. Yoda was a form 4 specialist but had the mindset of form 6. Basically yoda used form 4 as his main combat style but adapted every other form in various scenarios. Perfect for yoda’s size.
If the Jedi council thought Anakin was such a threat with his clouded future then it would have been wise to appoint someone like Yoda or better still Master Windu to train a young Anakin. But we wouldn’t have had Darth Vader then 💪
This is amazing. What if the Star Wars video, Mr. Fantasy Folkore for Anakin being trained by Yoda, would make Skywalker more mature, less arrogant, and more mature? Sound to me that Anakin would have thrived with being Yoda's apprentice and becoming more powerful. What I like about this video is how Anakin beat Grevious easily since he had been trained nonstop by the Grandmaster. Anakin becoming the new Grandmaster is an excellent way to end a story. This is a great what-if video, my friend. Please keep up the fantastic work; if you're interested, I have some what-if ideas for future videos. May the force be with you!!
@@FantasyFolklore You're welcome, my man, and here are my ideas: What if Reva was found by Darth Maul instead of the inquisitors? I think Maul and Reva both have in common since they were cast aside and tortured souls who were wronged by those responsible for their circumstances; I believe Reva would be a perfect apprentice for Maul, and she could be the heiress of the Crismon Dawn. What do you think about that idea? What if Thrawn had survived and is the one who formed the Eternal Fleet instead of Palpatine or Snoke against the dark threat? What if Raven was teleported into the present and started forming his new order called the Grand Star of Balance? What if Bo-Katan was force sensitive by either becoming a Jedi or Sith? What if Anakin had left the Jedi Order because the council saw him as too emotional and decided to kick him out? In this story, he was cruising in his Jedi starcraft when he was encountered by Mandolrains. The question is, which of the Mandaolrains groups would be best for Anakin? Would it be the House of Kyrze ( starwars.fandom.com/wiki/House_Kryze#:~:text=House%20Kryze%20was%20under%20the,aid%20of%20the%20Shadow%20Collective.), Clan Vizsla ( starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Clan_Vizsla), Clan Saxon ( starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Clan_Saxon) or Clan Wren ( starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Clan_Wren)? Which of these lineage houses would be the best choice for Anakin, and who would that mentor on those houses be a role model for the former Jedi padawn? Would Anakin thrive on becoming a Mandalorian or be an outcast? What title that you think it would suit you best for Anakin; duke, prince, or king? How would the Clone Wars be different with Anakin leaving the Jedi Order and becoming a Mandalorian? What if Luke instead becomes Eques Mangus Rex of the new Jedi Order in Legends and is head of the new order? If you don't know what Eques Mangus Rex is. It means Grand Knight King in Latin. Would you think Luke would want that title if he was crowned royalty, and would he refuse it and prefer the grandmaster of the order instead? Although in this story, Luke would still be himself and have a relationship with Mara Jade and their first child Ben Skywalker and the solo twins Jacen and Jania would be part of that story. What if Char Aznable ( gundam.fandom.com/wiki/Char_Aznable) from the Gundam franchise was teleported, became a force user, took Palpatine's place and became Plaugeis's apprentice? He became a force user that he brought from the dead by force but still has darkness in him since there would be an incoming, more significant threat that would destroy the entire galaxy. He chooses the persona of Darth Jaakuna, for he became the true mastermind of everything by overthrowing both Plageuis and Sidious and became Darth Lord of the Sith. But things get really interesting; he decides to become chancellor of the Republic by being the charismatic devil he is by influencing the senate and by, having the Jedi be his soldiers, and having Mechs against the droids. It would soon be called the Mobile Wars instead of the Clone Wars, where the separatists are using mechs by piloting them and led by Count Dooku and the Trade Federation. Imagine Anakin piloting his own mobile suit; which one would prefer piloting, and how would the Jedi react if Char Anzable is getting more power and being and gaining more support from the senate and having longer terms? How would the galaxy be different if Char Azanbale was teleported back from the dead by force, became Chancellor of the Galactic Republic, and orchestrated his grand plans to "save the galaxy?" Is it possible Char Azanbale would try to convince Anakin to join his side, or he won't find any success? And you think he would get rid of the Jedi with order 66, or do you think he'll do much worse towards them? How would Char or Darth Jaakuna do well as Chancellor than Palpatine, and why would the galactic empire be better with Char as Emperor than Palpatine? What do you think? Those are my ideas for future what if star wars videos, which you liked best, and I hope my suggestions are helpful.
TBF, Yoda should've trained Anakin and Obi-Wan should've trained the younglings instead of Yoda. Obi-Wan was younger and could connect better with the younglings. Or Dooku should've stayed and took over Qui Gon's Padawan's learnings as his best friends Padawan was without a master
If Anakin was trained by yoda it would likely spell doom for anyone who came against him by the time of attack of the clones he would likely beat Dooku or at least match him. Also the Jedi would need to prove palpatine was responsible for the clone wars and the formation of the separatist council because being a sith in the time of the galactic republic wasn’t a crime just like being a Jedi wasn’t if being a sith was a crime any and every time maul and savage showed up they would be instantly committing a crime of at the least pretending to be sith.
Stories like this have so much potential to be the foundation of a Star Wars Saga that is completely separate from the Skywalker story line. Imagine this storyline, but with a whole new set of characters in a different era of the Star Wars era. This channels what ifs does a great job building a connection in a short time by telling stories using characters that we already know and love. I hope some Disney exec comes along and finds inspiration.
Pretty much, but rather than a "what if" scenario, I prefer alternate stories showing the series in a new light. I'd love to have a Sith MC that is not really involved in the war between Jedi and Sith directly. So that we could properly see how the Sith actually structure their society, and the differences in how each other think. As well as explore more of the Mystical side of the universe, with wraiths ghosts and unexplainable natural force phenomenons caused by the imbalance in the force. As well as see a new faction that specialize in the use of the light side of the force but does not consider using offensive light side abilties a dogma. A light side sith in a way. They would specialized solely in folowing the will of the force and act as independant agents. The Sith could actually consider these guys extremely dangerous, and send hunt groups against them because unlike the Jedi these guys WILL throw their weight around with the force. Imagine having them use Force Judgement and control nature, Summoning pillars of magma in montainous regious or conjuring rain an lightning at will.
In every What if scenario you change Anakin's sword style. Each of the masters you've place Anakin with were Masters of various styles. I don't believe Anakin would have changed his style all that much from Shien/Ataru hybrid that he employed.
This story was good but there is one problem ... the clones would never cuff Palpatine and would have instead shot at the jedi... they were loyal to Palpatine above anything else..
5:12 I paused so I could call it, but he will say "Your shorter than I expected" or something like that. I was wrong. Missed opportunity but maybe next time.
I've heard a theory that he actually is and it's how he's able to pull off things like... hyperdriving through the phases of a planetary shield and stopping before he hits the planet.
Plot holes : Palpitine would not have told Anakin that he's a sith if this happened Anakin was to strong with the light 2 palpitine could have said execute order 66 before the clones cuffed hi Entertaining story tho 👍
0:07 to 4:50 If Qui-Gon survived and trained Anakin, or even if Yoda or Mace Windu trained Anakin, then Anakin would’ve probably never turned to the dark side. I believe Obi-Wan truly did the best he could, but the fact of the matter is (like this video says) Obi-Wan simply wasn’t ready to train anyone. Qui-Gon would’ve shown Anakin how to value emotions and attachment, making them more like Grey Jedi than actual Jedi, but that’s not a bad thing. The Grey Jedi understand that both the Jedi and Sith Codes are at least slightly wrong, and know that it takes both the light and dark to truly balance the Force.
Palpatine should have executed order 66 as he was being cuffed, that would have given him a chance to attempt an escape he never would have let himself be arrested like that. Everything before that part was very good though, great story 👍👍🤙
Next time make what if Count Dooku went with Qui-Gon Jinn to Naboo and make what if sifo Dyas never died what if the Son killed the father and not the daughter what would happen
What if all the Jedi who see die during Order 66? Can we get a what if story for if they all managed to survive their executions? (only the ones onscreen, offscreen deaths still happen)
Jedi kill unarmed opponents all the time lmao. It’s only in the war when facing Sith or separatists where they don’t bc it’s considered war crime. Grievous was too dogmatic not to be destroyed
Cool idea but I can't say I agree with the final fight. Annie, Obi, Mace master Yodel, I'd say he'd stand no chance. Wait, wait, wait... the twins still happen? I'd think lil orphan Annie might be morein control of his emotions and desires to give in to romance if trained by Yoda...
Nice video but I have a few problems. 1. I don’t think palpatine would get the chance to do anything like knock out windu whilst fighting anakin and yoda as well. 2. Being a Sith Lord wasn’t illegal at this time of the republic, the crimes however, were. 3. I’m not sure anakin and obi wan would’ve gone on the mission together if yoda had been his master. Palpatine only appointed obi wan to lure anakin
What if Maul after being killed by Obi Wan was sent back in time by the force itself reborn with all his memories and abilities what would this Maul grow up to be and do with his second chance given to him by the force itself?
What if after anakin turning to the darkside of the force asoka tano finds master yoda on dagobah so that she could complete her training and rejoin the jedi order. This means that luke can stay on dagobah with yoda so he can finish jedi training while asoka goes to save the crew of the Millennium Falcon. She stalls vader and tells him that the rebel pilot that destroyed the death star is called luke skywalker the son of anakin and padme skywalker. Asoka would act as a diversion for imperial inquisitiors, imperial intelligence and emperor's hands. Evading capture and death sometimes only just barely doing so. Kind regards from Daniel Harman.
He’d probably off himself. I know I would if my “mentor” was as big of a hypocrite as Yoda. Yoda is the sole reason for the demise of the Jedi. So many hints and ignored them all. He was a hypocrite, a terrible leader, and had zero right to lead the Jedi. Sure, he had the most seniority, was a BA, powerful af, the most knowledge, etc. Doesn’t mean he wasn’t a hypocrite or was the right choice to lead the Jedi. I would’ve turned to the dark side like Dooku too, left the order like Ashoka, become a grey Jedi and do what was best for me, or offed myself had Yoda been my “master”. 😂
You failed to elaborate on a few things that most likely would have changed. For one I don’t see The chancellor/emperor manipulating Aniken as easily. I also do not see him getting into the relationship with Padme.
Palpatine wouldn't even take the risk here as Anakin wouldn't have any relations padme and was trained to control his emotions through Yoda. Luke and Leia are not gonna be born as Anakin would, again, never have any personal relation with padme. In addition to that, Yoda would probably drill the emotionless factor into his head.
'All the Jedi had to do was show the recordings proving Palpatine was a Sith Lord'. Was that all though? Palpatine (or someone before him) had removed the law making being a Sith illegal. He also controlled the Courts and don't forget he is the Senate. He could quite easily have got off on a technicality and then it would have been the Jedi viewed as being in the wrong. He would also want revenge and still be plotting against them. Also, 'Jedi don't kill', is not actually true at all. They killed in the older wars against the Sith, because as Windu says about Palpatine, they were too dangerous to be left alive. They killed in the Clone Wars etc. So killing Palpatine was actually the safer and more sensible option, if they could prove it justified. If they couldn't then they were screwed either way, because either the people and senate would hate them for killing him OR for arresting him and he would still be alive to gain revenge. As for training under Yoda, considering how rigid and bad at giving advice Yoda is, I can easily see Anakin rebelling against his training and still falling to the Dark Side. Anakin needed someone who understood him and what he went through as a child to teach him, and very few, if any, Jedi raised in the temple did. Yoda being 900 years old actually works *against* the Jedi, seeing as it means he's several centuries out of date/touch with the surounding galaxy and thus his teachings remaining the same is stagnating the order.
Also, every person that Yoda took up as a Padawan new all 7 forms of lightsaber combat. For example count dooku new all 7 forms. Meaning that Anakin will know all 7 forms and has 2 times the force power of Darth sidious which he is a little less then 2.5 times the force power of Yoda. Which means that he can take down Darth sidious before those few jedi's die that you was talking about. He has two times the power as sidious and knows all 7 forms from Yoda. He would beat sidious.
What if Bo-Katan Kryze was a stronger and better fighter than Maul and Pre Visla combined, thus defeating Maul and/or Sabine Wren in combat for leadership of Mandalore and/or the Darksaber?
What if Kanan Jarrus saved Leia instead of Kenobi? And then he senses her potential and takes her on as his new apprentice, after Ezra Bridger's disappearance.
Before I watch the video, my prediction is that things will play out much better for Anakin considering Yoda probably has a solid 800 years of training Jedi. He's most likely seen countless Jedi succeed or also fall to the dark side. Those that have fallen to the dark side, he's learned from the mistakes and always improved and adapted his teachings. With the weight of the chosen one on his shoulders, he honestly seems like the wisest choice to teach him. Now that I'm typing this and thinking out loud, why in the world did the council let Obi-wan train him!? Like I get it, it's qui gons dying wish. But if a guy came up and said, "hey I'm gonna take an apprentice. My apprentice might also be the chosen one" And you're like, "Do you have any teaching experience?? Have you had an apprentice before?" "Nah not at all." Why in the world would you be like "Yeah sure go ahead! Take potentially the greatest prophecised Jedi who certainly has the potential to fall to the dark side as your first apprentice!" - Yoda don't you think you should train him?? I mean, you don't have an apprentice right now, you're the grand master of the Jedi, and you have the most experience with training apprentices since you're the oldest among us by nearly an entire millennium. *Yoda's response* "Ehhhh........ Nah I'm good bro"
Now after watching the video - There's no way if Mace could take on Palpatine by himself without it being severely a struggle, there's no way Force Lightning would knock him unconscious. Especially with Yoda there, a more powerful version of Anakin, and the defensive force of Obi-wan. That was definitely inserted into the story for convenience of what to do with this character
I don't think that Luke and Leia were born in this timeline, you need to remember that Anakin was trained by Yoda those learning to control his emotions
I think count dooku would have survived, as Palpatine would not have wanted to kill him in case Anakin didn’t work with him as it was more likely that he wouldn’t, because he was trained by Yoda
Another good what if..but unless i herd wrong. You stated Yoda being 900 when Anakin,First arrives. Phantom is suppose to be a generation9beleivethats about 30-32 yrs. Before Hope. Jedi is about 5 yrs after Hope(y 900) so at the time of Phantom Yoda would be about 863 yrs. welp good luck on next.
