Or maybe the idea is they can capture the souls when they're kind of low but not dead because (spoiler) in true pacifist you just give up and presumably axis collected the blue soul before they died
The red soul isn't determination though. All souls have determination. UTY is most likely innacurate when it comes to this, Justice should be able to save too. ( Though Another explanation I've heard though is that flowey has more DT than justice so he kinda overrides it saving.)
Oh, an actually interesting question! Asgore probably doesn't have a battle sprite, nor any ACTs or HP. I'm not even sure if the game code considers that a battle. So it would likely be empty, and trying to do anything (besides using items and maybe Flee), will crash the game
Watching Clover's soul slow down after getting hit more and more and seeing Martlet so sad that she has to leave him was pretty saddening, Martlet doesnt really get a happy ending in either of the routes
I'd say true pacifist is a pretty happy ending, all her friends are still alive and she's able to know you went out on your own volition for the sake of monster kind Anything else either leads to you killing ceroba, her other friends and flowey killing her, or killing everyone and her dying a painful agonizing death
Considering how meta Undertale and UTY are, I’m surprised there isn’t a secret cheater ending that acknowledges you cheating and surviving for longer that you should.
@lemons38Bro really comparing a game from 2015 made by one person (temmi chang just made like 2-3 characters and some music) and a game made in the end of 2023 by the freaking big team what already have some sprites from undertale, lore, mechanics and sprite based system. Uty=undertale but made in 2023 by copying undertale data expect for some changes like location and dialogue
@lemons38 The Sans spare attack was mainly what I was referring to. And I’m honestly surprised Undertale didn’t account for that. An unsurvivable attack that your supposed to die on? That’s just asking for someone to hack the game and give themselves invulnerability just to see what’s on the other side.
the reason why clover dies here isnt because asgore is stronger its because clover is *heartbroken.* ...get it? okay fine lets continue how i see it clover was just "forced" to kill a close friend, essentially tainting his sense of justice that he upkept for all his journey, they were conflicted. their justice was exposed as flawed. and asgore on the other hand still has his sense of justice intact, although his emotions have been steadily erroding it over the years thats evidenced by the lack of options from the start of the fight, usually an option is gone only after Asgore destroys it.
In Undertale Yellow, what happens if you dodge El Bilador's notes in Pacifist/Neutral instead of Genocide Edit: I meant with if you chose to not kill El Bilador in Genocide, Clover's soul will go to the box where the notes come from and just dodges the notes, what if you do that in Pacifist/Neutral instead of Genocide
@ender04456 No I meant how in Genocide, if you choose to spare El Bilador instead of killing him, your soul goes to the where the notes are coming from (the box above) as the notes just go to the boxes, what happens if you do that in Pacifist/Neutral
@@IslandofPets88 oh, well that Is actually interesting but i think It does the sams thing cause genocide Is alredy programmed to kill everybody so if im wrong then idk
I like how even though it's considered the """false""" pacifist ending it's actually the objectively canon one. Toby himself outright said "All 6 souls made it to Asgore. All 6 souls were claimed by him." And considering we know every human that was slain had their bodies buried directly underneath the throne room past the judgement hall. (As evidenced by Chara's mummy wrappings being found inside and her direct dialogue saying how "it's comfier than it looks" if you actually do the OG genocide run.) That means Clover either canonically *did* kill Ceropa or they found a way to say the right thing to her, walked past peacefully only for Asgore to finish it yet again. I'm hoping since everyone including the 6 humans all come back during the True Pacifist ending the second one is what's true.
To be more specific toby said that no humans made it past asgore which does NOT directly confirm asgore killed the human children despite i believing that was the case. And honestly the coffins does not mean a lot, since the monsters could just have brought the humans bodies and souls to asgore.
@@creamofcrab it means what it says. During the True Pacifist Ending if you go back down into the coffin room you'll see that all the coffins except Chara's are open. Which does make sense considering Asriel literally became a god when he absorbed everyone and then we *see* him outright bring everyone he absorbed back to life. The True Pacifist Ending is the *Ultimate* happy ending.
You're making a bit of a misassumption here, Clover as we know them, doesn't exist at all in "canon". And ceroba just blatantly isn't canon. UTY bends UT's canon to tell it's story and I kinda doubt any one ending is canon (except genocide which is obviously not canon anywhere).
i mean Undertale & Undertale Yellow don't share the same canon whatsoever tho if that's the case since one of the humans were killed by Axis in Waterfall
"You can't reach Asgore if you're dead? Right" Flowey i'm literally trying to avenge the souls, are you blind? Also i can't shoot him or do any of my neat tricks i learned quite literally 5 minutes ago, it's hard alright.
what if, at the end of a undertale yellow geno route, instead of fighting martlet, you set your location data to, like, the start of the underground apartments or something?
this is basic game dev stuff. if a condition is guaranteed to be completed before the check, theres no point in preforming a check. after all these years, even with a new game, people still fail to have decent questions...
@@gamertypeawesomeI KNOW! God, that's so annoying! I can understand having curiosity, but there is no point in asking these questions unless you aren't thinking. Unless they are a kid with no idea of how game development works. And I mean NO IDEA
Idea: In undertale, what if you add more crits to weapons like ballet shoes and burnt pan or what if also add crits to other weapons like toy knife and tough glove
after a certain point of killing all the robots, you’re locked onto the genocide route- so you can’t attack him (bc of the shield) and the laser is an automatic cutscene
@@whoknows5145 yes, attacking deals 0 DMG. but what if you used cheats to make attacking instead deal like 9999 damage? this guy does it all the time...
I just realised that none of the human souls are dead but just that their souls have been captured or taken from them, in Undertale the all died though because they were used to destroy the barrier and now are ghosts... probably. Also why clover could still move a bit when his soul was relatively close but out of his body in the pacifist run in UTY.
If you are talking about OG Undertale: You can't fight him, Toriel will automaticly interrupt the combat. If is Undertale Yellow: The menu doesn't appear, even if you manage to put it Asgore probably will don't appears in the Fight Sub-menu anyway
Hey I wonder, can you force spare ceroba on genocide? Her name turns yellow but she is not sparable, how does the game function if you manage to spare her
Not 100% exact as the game but she will say something like this: After destroy the first robot: "What are you doing?! Yeah he attack us but it wasn't neccesary destroy him! ...Look just chill out and try to not do anything stupid..." After spare AXIS: Clover thank you so much for not destroy AXIS But...I cannot continue with you...(I thought you were pure) Huh? It's nothing just...good luck...Clover...
Clover was treated unfairly in this ending. He was not even allowed to fight back, although he pointed his revolver at Asgor. It's like tying up a man and mercilessly beating him, although no one was tying Clover up at that moment. It's disappointing.
@@Jackaboy3695the game crashes because you HAVE to go through that encounter the game will not understand whether you killed her or spared her, also the game only crashes when something thats not supposed to happen happens, got it?
In your PC go to "%appdata%/roaming" search "Undertale_Yellow" and a file called "Save.SAV", there use a note editor and slide all the way down, in the end search a line called HP and edit the number to the one you (try to not put numbers afters the point...just in case) ✅ 9746.00000000 ❌ 9854.83626525 PD: You must have to save atleast 1 time in the game to make the Save.SAV file appear
