Did you ever think about what would happen if you killed Father and became an enemy of the Institute in Fallout 4? Normally, if you kill any other Institute members, Father contacts you over the loudspeaker before you escape to the surface and scolds you for your vile act. But what if Father is dead? Will anyone contact you then? I decided to find out. I built the teleporter and used it to enter the Institute. After completing the first quest and gaining Father's trust, I started shooting in the Institute and killed Father in the process. Then I headed to the exit, and here's what happened.

When I killed father and came back he was t posing with his eyes closed at a 45 degree angle three feet off the ground. Gotta love Bugthesda

Yeah it happens on every play through if you kill him cuz Ive got like 4000 hours and every time I've killed him this happened

I had a friend that killed father immediately when he tried to introduce himself and finished the game confused why the game dropped the entire "finding my son" plot and found out after a week that father was your son. It's funny there's no safety net for that, if you kill him then, you apparently never get told ever

You forgot that usually for every Institute member u kill there will spawn like 2 synths in front of the teleporter. Ive never counted but ive done it around level 150 and i got like 60 heavy synth pieces each limb. Also if i recall if you kill father instantly the door is actually closed and u cant even get into the institute

You don't even need to kill anyone to get kicked out. If any NPC in the Institute loses so much as a single fraction of a hit point, you're gone, even if you had nothing to do with it.

During the end of the game, father had told me that he was disappointed and sick, so I pulled out Kelloggs pistol with a unique animation of me spinning the chamber, and crit 1 shot him in the skull with vats. (Btw I also said the famous Benny line from new Vegas when I shot him)

My last playthrough I played along with the Institute's request, but then killed the Courser at Bunker Hill to get Father outside. Sadly, he didn't know Hangman's Alley was housing one very angry automatron and an artillery cannon.

I unalived Father after the first conversation with him and nobody noticed. Never got somebody to talk over the intercom but i still had the "escape the institue" mission 😅

I went to the railroad with Maccready and he commented when I entered the church, and I figured I’d do it again with Nick. I really expected a lot more entering the railroad with a synth by my side but their dialog was the same and Nick only chimed in when talking to Deacon with “You know we’re on the same team” which was disappointing. Have you done a video about entering the railroad with Danse? I haven’t seen one, so if not can you do that?
