I work in a Co-op grocery store! We sell the same products as other grocery stores but in our produce and meat departments and eggs, we get most of it locally. It can be a bit more expensive to get the local products, but all of that money goes back into our community. So buying those products, not only are you getting fresh and healthy things, but you are also helping the community!

Hi Benji! I am 32y/o F and have auto immune diseases. It has been a rough year and because of you (and Judy)...I started juicing and drinking green smoothies and my pain, inflammation and fatigue has lessened. I wish everyone would eat this way!! Eat clean without pesticides and preservatives! love you guys!

I think its awesome that you support your local farmers this way! My little tiwn has a farmers market every spring through the end of fall and I love it, but I wish there was a year round "grocery store" like that in your video!

I was born in Seattle and was raised there for 2 years. My family moved to Everett and we have lived here ever since. I love the local goods that they provide for us, always tasting that good freshness and better more rich flavor produce. I really love it here

Thanks so much to you I have opened my eye about eating organic foods and just a few days ago a local organic growers came for to see who wanted the membership!!! its super cheap all local and AMAZING loving the service and now I found a Co-op :)

I love living in Vermont. There are so many local farmers around to support, and lots of co-ops. I've been part of a CSA for years and it might be interesting to your viewers for you to speak about supporting local CSAs. My local "big chain grocery store" does in fact, carry a variety of local and organic produce (along with conventional produce). Maybe that's unique to living in small New England towns, but I'm glad I have many options.

I miss my co op back in PA. Now living on the border of Mexico and Texas the closest is about 3hrs away. I cannot even buy local foods and organic is not even an option. Really makes things difficult in terms of making sure I am nourishing my body with the best food possible. Fresh produce is far and in between. I love watching you vlogs.

Great vid Benji you gave a wealth of info. What was said about the produce on shelves aren't made for taste BUT SHELF STABILITY. Soooo true, can't tell you how many times i bought a package of strawberry's, that weren't even sweet AND went bad within TWO DAYS after purchase!! I need to start shopping at coops or at least find a farmers market near me. Oh and the bloopers were hilarious lol.

HI Benji! I just wanted to stop by to say I saw this video a couple days ago when it came out, and decided to finally check out the Co Op that's in my town. I am SO glad I decided to go there today! It was awesome. It was like Trader Joe's...but BETTER! & I loveee Trader Joe's. Haha so anyways, just wanted to say thanks for introducing me to the whole Co Op idea. I really appreciate it. Awesome overview of the co op. I go to the ones in Tacoma and Olympia. You and Judy should try kombucha.. my two favorite brands are Magic which is made in olympia and found in many co ops and Rainbow cloud which is made in northern washington.

It's the farmers that became members of the cooperative, they sell products via a single carrier, which the store, but the profits are distributed evenly.
