Fun fact: loofahs are very delicious in soups and other foods if you harvest them early when they aren’t ripe and dried. I have made loofah and meat soup several times and it is perfection.

@@Chris-fh3db I’ve made it with several types of meat. All are delicious with loofah but if you make it with ground pork and put into the soup like little meatballs its even better. But yea honestly it’s pretty good with any kind of meat. Edit: it’s not just two ingredients of course you have to have water and some stock and seasonings. There’s actually a lot of Vietnamese recipe videos on loofah soup. But some fried shallots, beef broth, salt water, fish sauce, loofah, and beef, pork, or chicken does a pretty good job. Loofahs can also be fried and made in all assortments.

But, the brazilians if doesn't have a backiard normaly buy it in a shower shops (loja de banho em portugues) or in supermarkets that have it. For example, dont have a shower shop in my city, so i buy it in a supermarket. Here its called "bucha"

as an Indian its common here to see these trees near ponds and rivers. We used to throw stones at dried fruit(veggie) and use them while having a nice evening bath at the river after finishing the cricket game. 😢 missing that days

I live in the middle east, to me this is what I used my entire life, when I went to Sweden the first time I used this weird flower plastic scrubber thing that most people use there. Loofah feels objectively better, the only downside to it is that you have to replace it more often than the plastic scrubber.

As an arabic person, we use this for showering. I've been using this for showering since i was a kid they may hurt at first because you're not used to it, but it makes your body so clean, and it's literally so amazing their is a hard side and soft side use which side you like to clean your body but you'll literally feeling so amazing and clean after using it.

Fun fact bacteria thrive in plastic so this is actually more clean than your plastic loofah, that’s why wooden cutting board is better than plastic ones you might think that plastic is easier to clean and more cleaner but bacteria breeds more in plastic than wood
