This video Breaks Down Home Trackers and shows visually how Legitimate Home Trackers are Created and How The a Lack of A Proper Home Trackers Is Identified #Pokemon #PokemonHome #PokemonHomeTracker
I highly doubt there would be any punishment for improper HOME Trackers/Data outside of competitive. Theres to many casual users who unknowlingky have pokemon with improper data out there to where it would lead to everyone getting punished similar to how recipients of admons were never punished

@@LarryBudd I’m so sorry about that man it’s because I was at work so I couldn’t msg back due to being busy. Next time I msg something I’ll make sure to do it when I ain’t busy again sorry
Just want to say i appreciate the hell out of this informative content. Been using your discord bots for a little over a year now. Youve made the competitive side of pokemon so much more accessible to those of us that have jobs and lives. Already subbed and like all your videos. Is there another way to support you? Thanks again bro!
So if in DLC there is a way to obtain Urshifu, would these differences be fixed and the location found would automatically become where one would expect to find it in SV? If that is the case, it would seem that this would only affect a select few Pokemon. Mainly Legendaries and Mythicals.
New to recent Pokémon games question is if you have one of those pokemon in home can you transfer to original game and back to home or will it be stuck in game?
Little jealous how seamlessly you were able to get PKhex to work alongside the game running. I do it all through the PC and an SD card and it's so clunky that way. Great video tho. Very informative.
My question now is let's say in the future Bank shuts down I have a team I used in a playthrough and want to transfer them, if I send them to one of the mainline games on switch with PKHeX then put them in Home with the software freak out or will it just assign a Home Tracker like gen 8 mons?
I've been replaying the older games using emulators (Citra and MelonDS) and was wondering if any of the pokemon would be affected by this once converted into SV's file type. For example: I placed the save from Y into PKHeX and transferred the pokemon from my Y team into the SV version settings in a box, hoping to transfer them via bot trade later on; and I believe it should be fine, so long as their met locations correlate with their game version. So after trading them into Violet, I should be able to send them into Home without complications? Or because of the recent update, they won't be able to?
Yo Larry, I was wondering what this whole "HOME tracker" business was. Decided to Google it and your vid came up. Thank you for the in depth explanation! 🙏🏾 Now, Important Question! So, going forward, is it possible that I won't be able to move/transfer some mon that I've been traded, from a MYRIAD of diff people on Discord's Genned Raids & Genned Giveaways, to Generation 10's game in the future? 🤔 (Btw, the mon I got from the "Make your own mon" giveaway bots, the people I've talked to all said that their mon made from the files have legit HOME trackers.) Thnx in adv for the answer bro. 🙏🏾
Its likely you wont but its up to pokemon whether they weaken or strengthen things like recently one thing was weakened regarding hisuian evos not getting 10015d when going into home Me personally if people are doing giveaways for pokemon that require home trackers and they claim they have legit home trackers. The likelyhood that every pokemon given out has a unique tracker its 99.9999% unlikely because theyd need infinite files. So youre gonna have alot of pokemon with the exact same tracker and we dont know how home may treat that in the future.
@LarryBudd Ah, interesting. Okay, okay. Gotcha. Thank you for the insight Larry! Welp, I can at least rest easy knowing that the majority of my shiny, competitive mon will go throo to Gen X, cuz I caught them legit myself in Pal/Kit/BBA! 👍🏾
Do Legendary event pokmons like Shiny Galarian Moltress also need to be created first in SHSW and then go though Home? Instead of putting them directly into SV While you don't get them through the direct game, you technically only get them through online in those specific games. Just wondering
Question: can even Hisuian Pokemon counts like that can eveolve like Arcanine, Basculegion, Sneasler, and the rest (but for the non evolving) since they can be bred and have a Paldean mark on it.
Question: How can you use PKHex on switch? Because that Urshifu automatic insert while the game running. Is it the something that they call "jailbreak"? And how can I directly connect PKHex to my Switch like that? Thank you!
What if one was to have one modded switch that never goes online and one basic switch for all the Nintendo stuff that does go online. Could I trade locally from the modded to basic then take it into home to get a tracker?
Youre overthinking it and loading question with way to much. Only thing that matters is that if a home tracker is needed it has one and followed proper route
So if you don't have the swsh game, you must trade with someone that knows how to do the proper method? Or is it possible that the dump bots make them correctly?
A question, there is a way to get banned with a perfect pokemon from a shiny den from sword/shield? P.S.: i miss your shiny dens from sword / shield =(
Yeah I noticed from a giratina I gunned in sv and transfer it to sword and legends arceus but still shows a blank line when I checked it's summery in home so yeah I guess it got flagged
bro i have a question. When I transfer zacian from SWSH to HOME to SV, it will got a home tracker, then I want to adjust some stats like EVs or moves, i send it to the discord bots and do it on PKHex, then send it back to SV, will i get ban if i send it to HOME?
Its dependant on the discord bot some will wipe trackers some will assign you as OT so its not advised to send something with legit home tracker data through pkhex or edit immutable data because that also affects the tracker
I have a question that I've been wondering about for a while and can't find a straight answer for. Is it actually possible to get a shiny arceus in any of the games? I saw someone surprise trading one to my friend on Violet and my first thought was that it was probably hacked
Yes, you can shiny hunt Arceus in Pokemon BDSP. First of all you'd be needing 2 games : Pokemon Legends Arceus(PLA), and Pokemon Brilliant Diamond(BD) or Shining Pearl(SP) In PLA, you MUST finish the main storyline with all 240 Pokemon filled in your Pokedex, and have battled Arceus Next, either BD or SP you MUST have beaten the Elite Four. THEN You'll obtain the Azure Flute at your House bedroom. There are other optional information where you'd be needing to hold the national dex (which is seeing all 150 pokemon); but for me I only beat the Elite Four while having the whole PLA game finished and got the Azure Flute right after I returned back home from the Elite Four.
If I want to gen a Pokemon originally from Pokemon Go (mythicals with my OT, for example) would it be valid to take the home tracker of a different (trash) Pokemon I caught in Go (and transferred to SwSh or SV) and use that on the genned Pokemon? Then I'd release (or trade to bot) the trash Pokemon, so there isn't a duplicate of that tracker.
@@natedawg187 with a valid tracker 99.9% of the time no because youd need to go GO > HOME and trackers are only valid for the exact pokemon they are assigned to
Oh ok I was having this issue I think I see now. So I traded a guy for a shiny rayquaza in Scarlet but it says the rayquaza came from Galar. Is that why I can't put it into home? Because it didn't originate from Scarlet and can't be caught there originally?
@@LarryBudd Oh ok so if he had caught it in galar, put it in home, sent it to his violet game, then traded it to me in scarlet, I would have been able to put it in home as well?
@@LarryBuddOh it makes sense now thanks man. I didn't know it worked that way I'm gonna have to hit him up about that because I wouldn't have even taken it if I had known that lol I appreciate it.
Does Pokemon Home remembers the Pokemon paired with their respective tracker IDs? For example, if I transfer a Pokemon with a tracker number from Home to Scarlet, then edit the Pokemon with PkHex, like for example, originally it's a Pidgey then I hacked it to become a legal Shiny Mew, will Home ever detect it?
@@LarryBudd I tested it. You're correct. I changed a Bounsweet wonder-traded from Sword to a legal Galarian Articuno and it was detected. But for some reason, I changed a wonder-traded Sprigatito to a legal wild-catched Fletchling and the transfer back to Home was successful. It seems the checks only apply on rares like Legendaries and Mythics.
I think I understand how now. If you have the game and genned it in the game it's supposed to appear, the security is more lax because you can get it through trade with non homed switch. like spare or something. You can't trade pokemon that's not available in SV without transferring through home first. Lets say I have magearna from 3ds emu, If I want to bring it in, I need a way to move it through pokemon bank , then home, afterwards its safe. But I think next they will put XY legendaries, celebi etc in for the next pokemon game at the end of 2024 (tcg timing). And as usual (if you have SV save, SWSH save, BDSP save, Arceus save. Mystery gift (Nintendo online), And only accessible as part of the new game's DLC too.
Theres no security if you gen something in a game its suppose to appear because genning that way you wont have a home tracker because its not a neccessity because its genned directly and the games cant verify a home tracker only home does Yes thinks that require a tracker for that envounter need it. A charmander originating in sv doesnt need a tracker but one from swsh to sv does Yea bank > home would be proper pathing for 3ds magearna No clue what you mean with that last part
@@LarryBudd Gamefreak has been spreading past legendaries as bait for all the switch games. -Mew, Jirachi, Darkrai, Shaymin, etc. Have all switch game series. -Meloetta, Pecharunt, buy SV's dlc. -Keldeo, buy SWSH dlc So I'm guessing for next one either gen 5 remake or gen 10 -there will be Celebi in it's dlc. -maybe victini as mystery gift. -Tapu koko, lele, bulu, fini as sub legendaries. -Diancie / hoopa if you have saves from SV/Arceus So I think in time you can get them all legitly almost only through switch + home. Just not yet.
@@kevin.h.2010 a greninja that has a met location of kalos must go through HOME to get to SV so you wont have proper met location if you generate one that originates in xy into sv
How are you open pokemon home in hacked switch? Because the only way to Connect a hacked switch to internet is block the Nintendo servers but you used home
I understand catching hacked mons like calerex with sacred fire, that's BS. But I do agree (and take this with salt) to some degree of making a pokemon with LEGAL MOVES if you do not own the games they come from. I'm not about to drop 300+ dollars for all the games and a plane ticket just to tell me I'm DQ. that's a lil sleezy. I understand the opposition to genning mons but like I said before I'm not dropping mad $$ when I can play with pokemon who are not competitively cracked/hacked and I can just outplay or loose to a competitor with the same build. I guess there is a level of pride to raising a mon, but when it comes to adult money for a kids game..... also there is the possibility that the players didn't gen them but received them without this knowledge. That would really suck 😮
Then dont buy the games lol. You can still gen maybe have someone else go through proper route and trade to you. Home tracker has always been a thing just level or enforcement has changed. Its not sleazy its rules they agreed to and also players were warned its self accountability
No, if you want a piplup from outside of sv you would have to send through home etc but you can have piplup encounters originating from sv since it can he bred in sv
@@LarryBudd oh, i think i get the point, it is because urshifu can't be bred in SV so it need to gen in SS > HOME > SV, it means the other pokemon i can gen directly that can be bred in SV (except some pokemon need to evolve in other game)
@@seng6125 no, its about encounters if you could find an urshifu in sv then that urshifu wouldnt need a home tracker. But an urshifu from anywhere else would. Just because something can he bred doesnt mean all encounters wont require proper home route. What matters is the specific game of origin for that pokemon
@@LarryBudd thanks for reply🙌, because i haven't play the DLC yet so i don't know i can get piplup in SV, now i understand it depends on the encounters way, if the encounter is legal in SV, i can gen it directly in SV (met location only in sv not from outside), if not, i need to gen in the specific game of origin for that pokemon > HOME > SV
Hypothetically speaking, if someone had maybe bought certain mythical pokemon from a certain website. How likely us it that that hypothetical person might get into trouble?🥵
@@LarryBudd Oh i don't play comp, i just bought them to use them in game, cus ive never had them. And there is no way to get Hoopa and Meloetta legit RN.😬
