How'd you suggest to care for choke tubes, have them tight but keep them easily removable? This was quite helpful. I hope to see more shotgun content and the clay journey.
Nice to see you back. I hope you are doing well. I have an odd question regarding rifled choke tubes for shooting slugs. Do they actually work to improve accuracy when shooting slugs?
Rifling (choke or barrel length) is mostly for Sabot style slugs. Rifled slugs have "fins" or raised ribs to fit smooth bore barrels and be able to squeeze through chokes.
Along the same sort of lines... I have fired several brands of rifled slugs through the rifled barrel, just to see what happens. ALL of my shots, from every brand, walked to the right beyond 40 yards. Rifled - sabot, or a really WIDE spread for shot. Smooth - "rifled" slugs and everything else

it's my first shotgun, mostly shooting for fun, sporting, i'd like it to be versatile and fun, i like the lena miculek type comp shotguns so might mod it like that to make it as easy and as fun to shoot and reload@@PatrickEKelley3gunfun
