Thank you for the explanation. Our township recently hosted a 'workshop' on solar power, however, it was more of a presentation or seminar. Our supervisor decided a workshop falls under meetings and made himself in charge. Many residents are upset at what they perceive as an abuse of power. I am just trying to learn proper procedure going forward.

I'd love to hear how you approach a company who has never done a real live online workshop ( meeting on steroids with Miro) maybe using a JTBD way of thinking. Maybe something like a 2022 year quarter 1 kickoff 🤔 around XYZ or other....? / thxs
Hey Ryan! Try with running quick workshop exercises like a Sailboat retrospective or Effort / Impact Matrix to start familiarize the team with these methods. Once they understand the power of workshops, you won' have any issues with convincing your team to take part in a workshop.
I came here to learn about what a workshops is. I am a medical resident of public health and my professor for health promotion gave students an assignment to make a workshop but hasn't explained what a worksop is. I guess she excpects as to use a workshop as a means to promote healthy habbits, or inform certain groups of people about certain aspects of health. I'm wondering can a workshop as defined in this video be used in such a manner? If I already know information I want to pass on to the group, then .... I have to design a problem? and make sure the group makes the right decision(s)? Does that make sense for a workshop?
