i just got one of these in a lot of locks i got from ebay a week or so ago ! its for a federal 90A pad lock and works great lol but i was wondering why it had such tiny biting! thank you ur timing is awesome!
I understood that code cutting machine can cut the shape, so it is like a blank? I also understood that some locks r designed to be opened with it. Other than that is there any reason to make it?
Actually, the only use for a key with the shallowest depth cut all across like that in code cutting would be in conjunction with a duplicator that has a tracer with a micrometer adjustment(To keep the spacing in check as you move the guide either in or out to make the cuts of the desired depth).I mean with a code machine like the Blitz, no modifications whatsoever need to be made to the blank(As the controls regulate the spacing and depth by themselves)
I own the Blitz and enjoying it a lot. I don't know if I agree with you on that. For example, my Master Lock Pro Series will NOT open with a blank and I have to cut 0000 for the cylinder to open. (It is a strange cylinder to have come with it being 4 pin)
@@HelpfulLockPicker but if the one picking it doesn't know it still interesting. + It could help a handy beginner to better understand how it's custom pins can feel on the maximum potential
