Saw someone point out the similarities between Claudia's part as LuLu, being locked away and then jumping out a window - and Louis' brother Paul being locked in a hospital a good portion of his life, then jumping from the roof. I can't stop thinking about it tbh
The cliffhangers are crazy! And episode 5 is gonna be the starting point for the season to start getting even more crazy. Also, Armand's maker wasn't the one who burnt the coven/studio, it was vampire coven burnt his maker's studio, killing his maker, and THEN made Armand submit to them, ultimately making Armand the coven leader.
@@leano3656according to the book, people have always seen something special in Armand. That's why his maker Marius named him Amadeo (of god). The satanic coven then changed his name to Armand because they thought it was inappropriate for a vampire to have "god" in their name. The coven immediately saw Armands special qualities and made him their leader.
The writers are putting crack in these episodes because there is just no way i'm fiending like this every sunday for these episodes, and then fiending for your reactions friend. Only 8 episodes is cruel and unusual punishment!!!
Yeah Armand is a very old, very traumatized vampire. What makes his character so tragic yet intriguing is that the only “love” he has ever truly experienced has been incredibly abusive even when he may have his own manipulative agenda at play. First was his maker which was a classic case of Stockholm Syndrome that lasted centuries. Then there was Lestat whom he first wanted to control but eventually fell in love with. Meanwhile, Lestat was simply using him to learn to harness his abilities while pretending to care for Armand. Then there’s his coven that only follow him because he is the most powerful but are constantly undermining him. Then there’s Louis, the one vampire that claims to love him despite clearly still pining for Lestat. Deep down Armand is still the young boy he once was, desperate to be loved but still has yet to experience true love while also not knowing how to properly love someone else 😔
Okay... Forgive me, but imma just pop in on every single video of yours to state that Jacob Anderson (Raleigh Ritchie) is one the most talented and beautiful actors alive. Urrrrgh! Its actually unsettling! You know... For the algorithm 🫣😋🤭
It would completely destroy the flow and pacing but man, i want to know what went down with santiagos maker. Armand, bud, you can't piss off everyone in ur coven and expect no repercussions.
In my own opinion I hate when Louis calls armand arun, I take it as louis using armands trauma as a sense of control, he basically turns into pimp Louis before he met lestat.
@@wwhnI see it as armand showing vulnerability to Louis which is something lestat has never shown, Louis takes the role of lestat in this relationship, taking on the "maitre" roll and having a sense of power over armand.
It is part of it but Assad had said in an interview that it is Louis understanding that in the end Armand is still that child that never got to grow up, he hates being the maître and he would much rather have a maître than be one. So he likes being able to give the power to Louis, even if it's an illusion because he's still way more powerful and he likes order and discipline. I also think it's Armand allowing Louis to feel in power because he never had that with Lestat and he's scared that they won't be equals in their relationship.
