Replying for a recent experience. Just had this done two hours ago. I felt a poke and a sting for no more than two seconds, and that was it. I spent so much time worrying over this and felt like an idiot once it was done lol. The MRI wasn’t exactly comfortable but it wasn’t bad at all. I did not have a history of dislocation, so those that have dislocated their shoulder before could have a different experience when it comes to the “arm over head” imaging. Relax, and don’t sweat it!
had this done 2 months after my injury because the doctor scheduled it than, in the meantime I felt like my shoulder healed because i didn’t feel no pain whatsoever, after getting this treatment everything feels like it did right after my injury and my shoulder hurts like hell and also makes a clicking sound every time i move it. Wish i never had this done…
I couldn’t even finish the MRI I was in so much pain after the shot , they had to give me apple juice cause I felt like I was going to pass out. Doctor was good though I just couldn’t finish cause I couldn’t sit still my body was super tense & shaking, my hand was going numb while trying to remain still then I was having trouble breathing I don’t know why though, guessing pain. wasn’t the best experience to say the least . Not looking forward to the procedure again. Lol
Tension can cause breathing problems if u not relaxed enough the machine can't take good pics u can ask for a light sedative to help body relax n pain is less.
