Very useful information. I’ve got a landa belt drive machine that does 4.7 gpm at 3500psi with a flow unloader that looks exactly like the one you showed. When I release the trigger the pressure jumps to 4500 psi and a little water leaks from the unloader. I’m concerned this is bad for my pump since it’s rated at 3500 psi. Any chance you can tell me if I need a new unloader? Or possibly just to make an adjustment?
I believe i have the vrt3 on my 8gpm 3500. Just changed out the pump. Flows great open but when i close the ball valve it makes a sound like it’s hissing air. Really weird. Any idea what it could be?
Hi can I ask a question im a little confused. I have 2 washers both the same with built in unloaders can u use these in series so long as I run check valves both pumps are identical I just don't know weathere there trapped pressure or flow
Same I ha e two identical 2.5 gpm 3400 psi, both have gx200, and both have a cat pump, I want to siamese them together to get the 5 gpm, I'm pretty sure the psi will stay the same though, but I'm not sure what kind of unloader they have e on them?
Can you run a bypass on a built in unloader valve (the one that came with the machine)? The discharge seems to be in the back of the pump with no outlets anywhere near the nob under the unloader. Or would I need to buy an external unloader valve to run bypass?
Why do you toss the pump when the unloader is bad? Can't the unloader be repaired? I'm asking because I have an AR RKV4G37D-F24 pump and it appears the unloader is bad (water sprays out of the unloader port regardless of whether or not the trigger is pressed). Just wondering if this is something I can replace or if I'm better off getting a new pump?
I know this is an old video but can I run a external unloader on a pump with a internal unloader? Like just set the external low enough that it bypasses water. I figure at that point if its bypassing water out the side then the internal one wont ever come on.
What type of unloaders do electric power washers typically use? I have a Ryobi 2300 PSI 1.2 GPM electric. I would like to run two so I have 2.4 GPM. This will give me gas like power with the convenience of electric.
Electric can be great, but don’t waste your time with a 120v unit. I custom built one with a 3phase 10hp motor. The motor is controlled with a speed controller so I can adjust me flow easily.
@@Cleanpowerwash I'm just not sure which port to port out of to the buffer tank as it has an internal system. It has a thermal release valve, could i change the fitting and run it to a buffer tank? Blackjetoz - Website 'PRESSURE WATER PUMP 4000 PSI AR ANNOVI REVERBERI ITALIAN HONDA WASHER RSV4G40D' Thank you for helping, love the vids!!
@@Cleanpowerwash thank you ! Had a rough year so far with things breaking and things getting lost in the mail I figured hey why not send a defected product
The vast majority are trapped pressure. If you pull the trigger and there is a big burst of pressure then that is a trapped pressure unloader. If it takes a few seconds to build up pressure then that is a flow unloader
@@Cleanpowerwash I just barely heard about it. Didn't have a clue what it was. Look it up apparently is good for plants but seems like you need a ton of it to replicate the effects of sh
I got an old Lely-gem jet trailer jetter with a giant pump MP4035 1600 psi 15.5 gpm... I just picked up for $1000 kohler commander ch730 for flushing sewer lines just wondering. How to increase pressure without changing pump_. Is that possible... I would like to cut tree roots_ but this is more of a flusher
Question regarding unloaders. On the VB350 unloader there’s a small hole on the piston holder that no one talks about. What is a that holes purpose and when it has a small but consistent flow of water coming out while the unit is in bypass mode does that mean that is going bad or just a spot for water to escape so it doesn’t blow? I had no issues before but I just had to re Teflon my bypass fitting and then the hole started leaking after I fired up my machine to see if the fitting was still leaking. I’m just confused and can find no info on it. Hope you can help
