That's good info! If you juice first then put some of the left over pulp in the blender with the fresh juice but bot too much so it'll still have the consistency of jucie, would you be getting fiber in a juice that way?
Both are great. Sometimes I want a juice after workout to quickly replenish. Sometimes I want a smoothie for breakfast. No matter which I do I still have my large dish of mixed veggies as part of main meal
Both are a part of my day. I make a filling smoothie for breakfast on work days or a smoothie bowl to replace ice cream. My daughter loves these. I used to drink sodas a lot, now I drink juices. I’ll add mineral water to them if I’m just craving a soda but I don’t have those cravings as much anymore. I prefer the juice the way it is. I don’t use them as meal replacements like some people unless it’s a 32oz juice then I probably will skip a meal but I’d only do that in the morning. Like you said, preference! Juicing and smoothies have been my best friend while losing weight and healing my body. Thanks so much for all your content and motivation! My liver tumor just “spontaneously” disappeared once I started juicing regularly
My cholesterol has spiked and despite my effort, I continue to put on weight. I need to get serious about my diet. So, I purchased a Nama J2 yesterday. I need the "fast" nutrients from the juice to heal my cells. I will continue to use my blender to make smoothies that will serve as meal replacement.
I have been a Covid long hauler and the only thing that helped me the third time I got Covid was juicing KALE. Juicing got to my cells faster! I was doing smoothies before because it was easier, but it was too much fiber. The juicing has fiber in it on some levels because it would help me go to the bathroom, quicker and faster, even if constipate. Smoothies took longer.
@@sonjalovestory4820 dang, sorry you’re going through that bs. I was just asking because a few people I know have long Covid but they are all vaccinated so I’ve been blaming it on that haha.
@@2Much2lose awwww yea those Jabbs are no joke! Took my husband to the ER 3 days after his second one and I didn’t even know he had the second vaccine, but I guessed based on all the swelling of his face, and his eyes in the red bumps all over his body that were itchy. These are new symptoms that I heard of and I asked him if he took the job within three days he said yes three days ago. And I just prayed over him for 10 minutes. On the way to the ER and his symptoms did not get worse. For me, the juicing has really helped and I just started going back to the chiropractor and that really helped.
I just subscribed to your channel. I started juicing about a year ago and I use a blender. I would throw everything (fruits & veggies) in and then add like 3-4 cups of water to liquidity. I strain the juice from the pulp. The juicer that I have is not good quality so that is why I use a blender instead. Keep up the great content!
Mine goes straight in the dehydrator. I make a powder & put into capsules. Sometimes I make an oatmeal treat with the left over pineapple. If the ginger is separated, I dry it and use it as a seasoning. I also sprinkle it around my potted plants. I use my a lot!! Compose too. Oh and one time HE made carrot tuna. Never did that before. Vegetable stock is another use! Lol!
Thank you for sharing this info! I do both. When I juice, I freeze the pulp in ice trays, then transfer to freezer bags. I add them to smoothies, soups/stews, etc.👌🏼❤🙏🏼
juicing for me works Beter it gets the job done quickly and i can just move on however i do blend especially the high fiber fruits and vegetables so they do not clog up my juicer
Getting up in the morning and blending on an empty stomach does almost the same thing. All of that fiber will keep me full until lunch and then I will enjoy a double cheeseburger made with ground bison meat with some lower sodium American cheese!. The benefit of the whole fruit/vegetable is that I get the whole thing and it will allow me to use the bathroom a whole lot better the next day! My trusty vitamix aint going nowhere!
I do both. Instead of using water for my smoothie, i'll juice oranges with a citrus juicer and i still eat the fiber so nothing is thrown away. Then i mix the juice from the orange with my fruits and veggies and voila. Using water dilutes the taste and throws me off. And i dont juice with a juicer cos i dont want to waste the fiber
@@thegoodlivingnow Hi Harold I I think think that you have an appeal and your reach is great with your channel… so I thought of you and maybe a calendar with you in a picture each month with a juicing idea …
@Harold can you give me some good combinations of juicing and blending like apples with spinach or something. I know this type of diet comes with an acquired taste and you have to work at it.
So I’m wondering, if I were to dehydrate some of the ingredients and turn them into a powder (celery for example since it’s mostly water), would i still get all the nutrients and the fiber from it?
I love both my juicer literally strains the juice pretty well I even juice the grape stick and I don’t even peel the vegetables or fruits I have the old school jack lalane which I swear by use the pulp for muffins or bread my ninja iq with food processor I love it too so I love them equally ❤😊❤❤ god bless u for this video
