Space sniffer, free software. Wonderful little program that shows in a graphic styled window filled format of what is on the disk. You have to be careful though.. as it can run a rather high cpu usage unwatched.
For any new VMware users out there, if you copy a large amount of data in and out of a VM, there may still be a copy of that stuff in your %temp% folder. If you've been wondering why your C: drive suddenly lost a dozen gigs of space, that's a very possible reason.
I have a bunch of (microsoft visual c++ 2005 redistrbutable) going as far back as 8/8/2015 thru 8/29/2020 with (microsoft visual c++ 2017 redistrbutable x86) , in Apps and Features, can these be disabled?
same I cant find a fix its like when I remove stuff my space keeps going up no matter what I remove this is the 2nd one that dose this and I already had to reset it 2 times already due to the low space I try everything but its just the same stuff over and over always in the red and I dont there is a fix sadly. I legit have no idea y is this even a thing I cant be the only one who has this prob going on I have to reset it every 3 months idk what to do 🤨😕
Impulses from the brain and local nerves cause the muscles of the corpora cavernosa to relax, allowing blood to flow in and fill the open spaces. The blood creates pressure in the corpora cavernosa, making the hard drive expand.
How can I make Drive D the drive where videos, photos etc. are remanded to? And why did this miserable Win 10 Pro make the smaller drive the main depository? That is the most maddening fact of this worthless Win 10. Thank you.
What I don’t understand is why my c drive automatically adds storage to random things after I delete everything. I’ll go from 60gb to 75gb and over night I’ll be back down to 70gb? I have a gaming pc and 32gb ram so maybe the ram is causing files to necessarily use space but I honestly have no idea. It’s constantly draining my storage even when I’m not doing anything. I’ll click out of the folders and come right back and be missing 300mb. Disk space or network not being used and pc not detecting virus. Is this normal?
So uh theres a video of yours to recover a pc for windows 7 8 10 and commented a queston that hasnt been answered heres the comment: Hey so i have a laptop for school and it crashed several times yesterday, after trying the sfc and chkdsk it still doesnt work, so i rried regback and while i was renaming the files my laptop crashed, i am paniicking right now and i was wondering is my laptop forever gone?
You have a very good channel. You not only identify the files, but also explain why they need attention. Not everyone is as open and I also like knowing there are tools that help in rooting out wasted disk space. Not all are whiz kids and have all the answers. It’s refreshing when people like yourself and Nick Bunting to help out those who want to learn and appreciate the effort you guys make. There are more than a few who don’t share the why as well as the what. Two things are better for the understanding. We appreciate that for those learning to correct issues. Thank you for being open as well as informative! Stay safe my mates!😊👍🏻😷
I've got a very unique and odd issue. I've got one of my secondary drives filling up mysteriously. It has 2TB storage, Storage sense says 1.5TB is filled with "Other" data. But I can only seem to account for about 400 to 500 GB of data I actually find worth of data, even after viewing hidden. I've essentially got 1TB that's mysteriously filled up somehow. I'm going to try that Space sniffer, but it's so strange that it's doing this.
After trying Space sniffer... It's still a big mystery. It's scanned about 360GB of Actual storage in it, but 1.4TB of unaccessible space. That's a very strange result. but shows I've got some clear issues with the drive. (Apparently it's all backup files. which It was hiding from me? Strange enough. I found more as I ran it as Admin. I've gone over my Backup settings and have fixed it for now.)
@@jamesmatthewmacatangay4439 I figured it out, and discovered that I was saving backup data to the point it was flooding the second drive. I've gone in and wiped the backup files as I figured out the path to it. but it was such a surprise that it didn't let me know where that space was going till I could open in admin settings with the scan tool. like what they used here.
I've done these tips, and yet my Surface 3 always fills up >2GB of don't know what, everytime and I just can't figure out what are those files that keep filling up. Does Outlook take up C drive?
Download and install CCleaner and use it once a week. When I had windows on my computer, I no longer do, I used Superantispyware, Malwarebytes, and Zone alarm, which is a better Firewall than the one Windows has.
