G'day Dan, love it !!! .... you've essentially just shown a decent portion of my teenage years. It was just boardies, (boardshorts), and runners back then, though in fairness on the climbing side, well worn sandstone is far more forgiving, (less gnarly, i.e. you'd tend to slide to a stop if you did slip), and we'd snorkel the area before taking a plunge. Anyway, now its got a name ; ) .......... good on ya for having a crack mate !!!!! Cheers Duke
Used to jump off the cliffs at Ute Lake State Park here in New Mexico. No guides, training or first aid, just taking your life into your hands and going for it. 50+ft to the water depending on the cliff, what a hoot it was but never again. Too old for that stuff now, besides the water level is way up so only 20ft to splash time... Enjoy!
Looked like a wonderful day ! Making memories your kids will treasure. And what brave daredevils they are !! Glad you all enjoyed it. Thanks for taking us along !
