Never knew Detroit had its own style pizza. Then again never been to the midwest unless you count new orleans.

What is your Detroit sauce recipe? Or the same as the basic easy sauce you posted? New York has a Sicilian pie about as thick as Detroit but, just sauce and Parm..... Looks delicious, I can smell it from here and I am in WI..

Hey there! I use the same sauce as my NY style pizza. It’s a cooked sauce with garlic, basil, sugar and oregano with crushed San marzano tomato. I believe it’s in my most recent NYC style video. Thanks for watching!!!

@PatioPizza personally, I never heard anything about Detroit Pizza until Pizza Hut. Which tells me it's getting big because of Pizza Hut. I don't live in New York or Chicago but I know those pizza's. They got big because their iconic. However the fact that Pizza Hut is what made it lecrae's makes me think they're riding the coattails of Pizza Hut. So I'm very skeptical. Happy have to actually go to Detroit and try it myself before I believe it.
