I’m working with a small business incubator on a concept of using esports as a social enterprise. I’m taking a lean startup approach because we don’t have much of a budget and I’m interested in experiential marketing for targeting gamers to compete and also for audience retention. We won’t be able to stream the event yet but I’m considering getting a 2x2 video wall for the audience to watch (it will be in a small play theatre) and players will be competing for a cash prize. I’m wondering how I can use experiential marketing prior to the event to attract players and during the event to keep the audience coming back. Any suggestions?
