please talk about flux core compared to stick welding ??, which is a stronger weld.??

i need advice, i'm going to build pigeon loft made in steel, should i buy just stick welding or flux core welding machine, i tried the mig before and i like it, but i don't wanna use gas for my project, i'm beginner btw.

This may have cleared up my confusion of double letters "GS" which I thought was for "gas shielded" and "SS" for "self shielded" and realize that those labels on wire "GS" mean gas/self shielding purpose (dual applications).

Is the wire type is same for self shielded and gas shielded??? I mean if we are using gas for shielding then the wire will be the same or without flux ????

why flux cord electrode is used. what are the benefits of flux cord welding?

Why not use polarity DCEP in FCAW-S????
