In this video CEO and Founder of Bloodworth Law, PLLC, Attorney L. Reed Bloodworth, talks about what happens if someone is persuaded to enter into a contract based on fraudulent information.
In Florida, the law provides certain protections when someone makes a fraudulent statement that causes you to enter into a contract
A person has committed fraud in the inducement if:
• The person made a false statement about a material fact;
• The person knew or should have known that the representation was false;
• The Person made the statement in order to induce another person to act; and
• The other person’s reliance on the statement caused him or her an injury.
If you’re a business owner who wants to protect your future business interests, you should hire a recommended attorney for a consultation.
If you suspect you were given fraudulent information before buying a business, give me a call.

Sooooo I was called by a recruiter about a job in a different state and turned it down because it was not the job I wanted. I told the recruiter about the job I did want and told him when THAT position is available to call me then to which he said ok. Not long afterwards, the recruiter called again and informed me that the position I was seeking was now available & asked if I was interested. I asked if he was sure this was a solid secure position & he said yes. Said it was an immediate fill and asked how soon I could relocate & start. I informed him that I needed at least 3 weeks, two weeks notice for my current employer and a week to pack. So he set a date and HR sent me my offer letter with the position on it with starting wage. I signed the letter and sent it back then proceeded to set things up to move to include shipping my household goods to the new location, moving my vehicles and securing a new place to live. I was all set to start work on the Monday upcoming. On the Friday before the Monday I was to start work, the recruiter called to inform me that the position they hired me for was in danger of going away because of some changes that were upcoming in the company. When I started work on the following Monday, individuals at my new work center were questioning why I was hired because the recruiters should have known of these changes before offering me a job. A week after I started this job, I was laid off & told to re-apply for another position that I had told the recruiter in the initial interview that I was NOT interested in doing... This has cost me thousands of dollars in lost pay from my previous employer as well as the money & time spent moving to this new location not to mention the emotional roller coaster I have been through...

Hi Vine Wood, This a difficult and frustrating position to be in. The only thing that may be addressed here -- as no questions may be answered on social media -- is that in your state you may choose to contact an attorney to discuss the situation. Thank you for sharing what happened to you, and, for watching the video(s). Best wishes to you!

Is there any legal recourse, if two different insurance companies issue payment for the settlement of the case, but the Plaintiff only received payment from one settlement, never told about the second issued payment. But sign an agreement releasing all claims for both Defendants.
