I fished yesterday out of Hendricks and had an incredible morning on topwater. After the sun came up, hit those beds like you mentioned. Managed out two spawners about 2 1/2 each. Had between 12 and 15 on a custom Zara Puppy.
It’s bad when the queen of kayak fishing says she’s lost in what to do. Amazing the way you stay so positive in the worst of situations. Always ready for the next video. You got this Kristine. Aka queen.
Been watching you for a while and finally commenting. Another great video, it's good to see both sides of the spectrum. I fished my second kayak tournament last week, the largest kayak tournament in California's history, and I took 4th. Met a friend of yours, Matthew B., and I thought about you several times while I was out there. Love your positive attitude, keep up the good work!

Been a weird week or couple of weeks in NC too on lakes I fish. Spawn this year has been real scattered out with the crazy weather and fish showing up in odd places for april. Keep it up youve got talent its obvious to see.

It was a tough weekend. My son was in the high school tournament that you referenced and it was tough. It would have been cool to bump into you and meet you in person out there. I love the attitude and can't wait to see how you did and what you figured out the following day!
You did better than me. First time on Hartwell. Didn’t get a limit either day and finished 106 with 107.5”. If I had just fished clean I would’ve been culling both days. Nice rebound but what a mess lol
Love the vids was fishing the high school tournament thier this past weekend caught them all on a white kitech with a 3/8 ounce Berkeley fusion head with a dyed chartreuse tail along the bank were we could see schools of shad
Stay Positive. If it's That slow ______ when in Carolina. Try a Carolina rig/ with a Green and Red trick worm on a 2 foot leader. Couldn.t hurt. Love the Video's.
Sometimes things like that happen don't beat yourself up to bad best of luck on the next tournament stay positive keep your joy and stay safe out there
I would try a deep diving square bill crank it deep put the kayak in gear and keep dragging it deep. Usually if I see a bed, sight fishing I hang back and cast a wacky worm just on shore by a few inches if that and pull the wacky worm into their bed and usually every where I go I get a few more to bite!!
I did the same thing at my first tourney of the year. Kayak floated off the trailer and I'm like "damn... Didn't realize my rope was that lo.... Ah sunnuva...." Luckily there were a bunch of guys unloading so someone went and got it for me with theirs😂😂
Too many poles in the yak is like too many cooks in the kitchen!!! Keep it simple the best lures are the ones you have the most confident in an minimal poles 👍🐟
Kristine, there is a lot of Nest fishing with Bass. Ive been trying to understand it but there are many dead end answers. If you catch a big largemouth female, take her away from her nest (i know you don't) will she go rebuild or go find her nest (unlikely?) I do not look to make trouble, it just popped into my head.
Everyone and I mean everyone, has their worst day in their tournaments. I've had a few..lol Once it rained so hard all day that my partner and I hadn't had one bite so an hour before tourney was over we went to the dock restaurant and sat and had coffee till weigh in. 😂
HURTWELL is my stomping grounds, cause it will hurt yo feelings even when U think U have em figured, lol. I expected U to do good, considering how U luv to fish a fluke 🤷🏽♂️
@@kristinefischer2289 i UNDERSTAND that, it’s hit or miss. They bit it yesterday but the quality wasn’t there, same areas I was in the teens on dragging soft plastics. I have a bfl there next wkend & fluke bite should be 🔥
next time you’re down this way, i live a couple min from lake hartwell and 7 min from lake sucession. y’all are more than welcome to stay on my property!
