കേരള ലിറ്ററേച്ചർ ഫെസ്റ്റിവൽ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന സാഹിത്യനഗരിക്ക് അക്ഷരാർപ്പണവും 26-ാമത് ഡി സി കിഴക്കെമുറി സ്‌മാരകപ്രഭാഷണവും ഡി സി ബുക്സ‌ 50-ാം വാർഷികാഘോഷവും ആഗസ്റ്റ് 29ന് കോഴിക്കോട് നടക്കും. കോഴിക്കോട് മുഹമ്മദ് അബ്‌ദുറഹിമാൻ സാഹിബ് ജൂബിലി ഹാളിൽ വൈകിട്ട് മൂന്ന് മണിക്ക് നടക്കുന്ന സാഹിത്യനഗരിക്ക് അക്ഷരാർപ്പണം പരിപാടിയിൽ കോഴിക്കോട്ടെ എഴുത്തുകാരും സാംസ്ക‌ാരിക പ്രവർത്തകരും പങ്കെടുക്കും.
ഡി സി ബുക്സ‌ിൻ്റെ 50-ാം വാർഷികാഘോഷവും 26-ാമത് ഡി സി കിഴക്കെമുറി സ്മ‌ാരകപ്രഭാഷണവും വൈകിട്ട് ആറ് മണിക്ക് നടക്കും. മനു എസ് പിള്ള ഡി സി കിഴക്കെമുറി സ്മാരക പ്രഭാഷണം നടത്തും.
മലയാളിവായനയുടെ സാംസ്‌കാരികവും വൈജ്ഞാനികവുമായ വികാസത്തിൽ നിരന്തരവും നിർണ്ണായകവുമായ സ്വാധീനം ചെലുത്തിയ ഡി സി ബുക്‌സ് 50 വർഷം പൂർത്തിയാക്കുകയാണ്. മലയാളികളുടെ ഭാവുകത്വത്തെ കൂടുതൽ പരിപോഷിപ്പിച്ച, കാലത്തോട് പ്രതികരിക്കുകയും കാലത്തിൽ ഇടപെടുകയും ചെയ്‌ത ഈ പ്രസ്ഥാനം 2024 ആഗസ്റ്റ് 29-ന് 50 വർഷം പൂർത്തിയാക്കുമ്പോൾ വിപുലമായ ആഘോഷപ്പരിപാടികളാണ് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.

'Devoted to Literature' program for UNESCO's City of Literature, the 26th DC Kizhakemuri Commemorative Oration, and DC Books Golden Jubilee Celebrations organised by Kerala Literature Festival was conducted on the 29th of August, 2024. Authors and other notable personalities from Kozhikode participated in the 'Devoted to Literature' program taking place at the Muhammed Abdhurahiman Sahib Memorial Jubilee Hall, Kozhikode.
DC Books Golden Jubilee Celebrations and the 26th DC Kizhakemuri Commemorative Oration took place at 6 PM. Manu S Pillai delivered the 26th DC Kizhakemuri Commemorative Oration.
DC Books which has influenced the literary sensibility of Keralites has completed its 50th year! The organisation which has always tried to develop its readers imagination and which has responded positively to the changing times, as part of its Golden Jubilee Celebrations, conducted a wide range of cultural and entertaining programs. ]

പണ്ടുകാലത്ത് നമ്മൾ കണ്ടത്തിൽ പോയാണ് തൂറാറുള്ളത്. അന്ന് അങ്ങനെ തൂറുന്നത് ഒരു കുറച്ചിലായി ആരും കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല. പണ്ടേതോ കാലത്ത് കേരളത്തിൽ നിലനിന്നിരുന്നിരുന്ന അയിത്തത്തിൻ്റെ കഥ ഇപ്പോൾ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും പറയുന്നതിന് മനശാസ്ത്രപരമായ അടിസ്ഥാനമുണ്ട്.ഇവിടുത്തെ ഈഴവനോട് അവർ പറയുകയാണ്, പണ്ട് പുലയരെ 32 അടി മാറ്റി നിർത്തിയവരാണ് നിങ്ങൾ എന്ന്. അതുപോലെ കുറിച്യരോട് പറയുകയാണ് നിങ്ങൾ പണിയനെ വീട്ടിൽ കയറ്റാത്തവരാണ് എന്ന്. ഇത് ഒരു കുറ്റബോധം ഉണ്ടാക്കാനാണ്. ഈ പറയുന്ന ചരിത്രകാരൊന്നും ബ്രിട്ടീഷുകാരോട് പറയുന്നില്ല നിങ്ങൾ ഇന്ത്യയെ അടിമകളാക്കി ഭരിച്ച് ഇന്ത്യയെ കൊള്ളയടിച്ചവർ ആണ് എന്ന്. അതു പറഞ്ഞത് രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരനായ ശശി തരൂർ മാത്രം.
