What is it like Daily Driving an S2000 During the Winter? 

I bought my S2K a few weeks back and have driven her everyday in wet weather, icy conditions and it’s perfectly fine! I can’t wait until the summer to really get the best out of her 🤙🏻

I bought mine 3 & half years ago & drove it daily all through the years it was perfect I don't see why people don't drive them often through the winters doesn't bother me. Great video man 👌💪

I daily my S2k in the northeast too and its far more capable in the wet than people would have you believe. Plus who doesn’t love a “dap of oppo” every now and again

I daily my merc slk350. Set of winter tyres at the back so not a problem. The heated seats and airscarf are a god send this time of year.

I wish I could get an s2000 but in my 15 years of living in Dubai I have only ever seen 1 and unfortunately it was not for sale, hell of a car tho!

You’ll be ‘reet. I’ve had RWD cars for yonks and I’ve not died yet and this isn’t a torque monster which is what I’m sure causes loads of issues. My other half’s 125i cab has been fine for the last few years and getting the food down on a cold, dry day is ace.

I don't have a garage for mine but it's not a daily as such. I take it out once every week or 2. If you're coming from modern cars you definitely have to drive according to conditions as nothing is going to save you. I have semi slicks so it's certainly interesting when I do take it out lol

I deliberately break traction at every opportunity in my Z4 M40i. Catching the rear is second nature to me now whereas other motorists could/would panic. I do have a all season tyre equipped awd Volvo but that’s far too sensible to take out! It’s actually harder to control in a slide because the safety electronics try of take over.

I hear you on the poor visibility in the rain. I've got a little 100hp Panda which is on coilovers and very low. Spray from most vehicles is a real pain. I'd love an S2000. I like the hard top but I'm wondering what the cabin is like with the soft top up. Is it very loud?

I daily my 2.5 E85 Z4 and I love it! Agree with the headlights on other cars, and also definitely a bit twitchy at times especially due to a slight camber on the rear!

To me it was like Tokyo drift here and there and then I’m stuck can’t make up a hill 😂
