You said you weren't proud of this video, but it's still got value past archiving past experiences. It gives me an idea of what FFVI is about, a game defined by narrative setpieces to hook you, moreso than gameplay/character depth. Short and sweet.
Hey I enjoyed the video and despite really loving my time with the game you do make a lot of good points about the characters. I think it would have been cool if you were to talk up the World of Ruin a bit more in its general terms of being more of an open-ended search as I think it's the real switch from the linear journey thus far that gives you the complete Freedom to find the rest of the cast and prepare for Kefka (who is available ASAP) that makes FF6 stand out fairly well. But yeah Realm and Strago did nothing for the story really as playable characters.
Yeah there’s quite a bit of stuff I had to cut for time, I was entering this into a competition and it had to be under 5 minutes. I liked the world of ruin quite a bit but the way the story, the thing I cared about, got put on hold to walk around and look for the characters made it a bit less enjoyable for me
