For me, it's less of: Im scared/ don't understand expert. And more of: Killstreak kits are kinda cool, especially when i make the professionals or specialsmyself
soldier is actually better earlier on and later too when using the beggar's bazooka, as the firing speed is practically worthless. And where would you put those points into? 2 ticks of damage baby
I use quick fix as medic and I don’t understand why other people don’t. I can revive players in a millisecond and you can already get crits and Uber with the canteen.
a funny strat you can try is running stock uber with uber saw. You only *need* canteen share and uber duration upgrades. The strat is to buy uber canteens and use them with the uber saw when you don't have uber to make your heal target invincible 100% of the time. Works best with an aggressive heavy or phlog pyro
i found this video funny and informative. the effort for jokes was nice too. i appreciated the visuals on engie placements and the suggestions for upgrades. thanks 👍
Not only does it halve your damage while it's active, you lose a ton of damage due to damage falloff and spread at a distance. You want robots to be close to you to deal max damage to them. If you get to the point where you "need" knockback rage what you really need is more firepower.
@@TheTdw2000 I didnt know it halved damage. And ofcourse im not gonna play sniper with heavy so with good planning or positioning rage can make bodyblocking easier. Or in critical situations like bomb at the hatch it can help by pushing the bomb away. I get your and the videos' points but imo it is still pretty useful but not good enough to buy when you can
While everything else here is very insightful, taking a majority of the pyro segment to complain about the gas passer then toss in an alt strategy at the last minute before moving on was unnecessary. The idea that a weapon is bad because it’s too good in a co-op mode, especially one that isn’t as skill-based as some would lead you to believe, is a poor take that only serves to create more animosity among players when someone does decide to run it. I would get it if it were considered OP in PvP, but not in the game mode where literally every human player in the room is collaborating together to achieve the same goal, like come the hell on. I do still acknowledge that the other strats with pyro are in fact more fun, but if you’re having a bad match and your teammates are becoming a liability (especially if you queued solo), then the gas passer is perfectly viable.
I don’t get how your one experience of a brain dead pyro makes the gas passer terrible. Gas passer makes the game easier, if you care about damage so much, play casual.otherwise stop pissing yourself
That's funny bc most gas passers pyros sucks and don't make the mission easier. They die a lot, low damage, bad gamesense. Even if they are good, there are other ways to do more dmg than him.
Gas passer is a crutch that only makes the most braindead easy part of dealing with a wave easier, while taking the whole fun out of those parts of the wave.
You saying medic sucks reminds me of a story one time my team was failing the last wave of coal town crash course over and over then I switched from scout to vaccinator medic and we won that was also my first nvm victory
Honestly, even though I only have experience with the Nightmare level of MvM, aka, the "free" level, I am kinda shocked that the Mad Milk Syringes for Medic aren't present for this guide. Maybe it's just my ignorance as someone who has literally never had a tour, but I'd think that Mad Milk Syringes would be a nice thing for players. I personally enjoyed running the Overdose Syringe Gun with them for faster movement speed which allowed me to coat entire hordes of robots unharmed, and filling in for the Scout when he is out of Milk. Most of the time it was especially useful with helping the Heavy player when he is up against the big bots who are locked in a damage-dealing match, and it is super helpful for the Pyro player since he is the one who is always in the thick of it with the rest of the mobs.
as a kid, i used to play tf2 on my uncles acc. it had the "proof of purchase" hat since my uncle had bought it back when tf2 was pay2play. had all the items (no fancy unusuals, i mean all the standard items unlocked) and i used to play MvM a lot. since i had all the items unlocked, i used to run milk and man-o-war and was an unkillable scout that would also keep the team alive and never miss a single dollar so we would get bonus $100 every round. since then, i grew up and made my own acc. years later, i decided to give tf2 a try again and tried to log into that old acc my uncle passed down to me. but i forgot the password and steam support threatened me with a ban since "sharing an account is against agreement" or something like that. so that account is forever gone...so now i start from 0. all i got is the default items and MvM is impossible to play cuz i don't have access to crucial items. hell, i cant even use chat or use the in-game voice lines. cant even call for a medic cuz the game keeps saying I'm not allowed that function. like tf?
