What Is Jingliu's Godslayer Protocol Plan? | Honkai Star Rail Lore [2.5] 

I saw a TikTok video about the Godslayer Protocol, Permanence/ Propagation/ Abundance are all connected . Long may have found the true meaning of life therefore he became the Vidyadhara. And left the Path Aeonless . Tayzzyronth split the path and therefore created the Propagation Yaoshi split the path AGAIN from Propagation. Propagation represents the continuous of one’s life Abundance represents the noble ambition to ensure the safety of the universe i.e. Immortality, Eternal Fruits , Medecine . So if Jingliu and Luocha some how figured out that the Propagation is the progenitor of the Abundance and Luocha carries a segment of the divine body of Tayzzyronth then they could in theory, weaken the Path to an extent that maybe “Immortality” doenst work anymore

My theory is that Ruan Mei is going to create a new aeon to absorb the abundance but there is a massive flaw in that. because of the Hooh the Equilibrium. there is a theory that aeons comes in pairs. So if ruan mei create a new aeon when Yaoshi is absorbed the new aeon is just going to be another Yaoshi. Xianzhou will have to hunt the new aeon. And the cycle would go on. My crack theory is that they have to kill two aeons(a pair)

3:49 mortals can't really weaken an aeon though, because they don't even exist on the same plane as us. What they might be able to damage is merely one of the many vessels the aeon can possess. What I've come up with, however, is that they're trying to reawaken Tayzzyronth to assimilate Yaoshi like what Xipe did to Ena, and then drag Nanook and the legion and possibly Qlipoth into the battle to reseal Tayzzyronth once again, basically Swarm Disaster 2.0

i think the most logical plan they might heading toward is creating a half aeon or you could call it a fake or pseudo aeon, basically they want to create something that have the power infinitely close or on par with aeon level but not the full responsibility and restriction of aeonhood. There is a few benefit and reason why i think this going to be the case: - it much easier to create something near aeon then trying to create a full aeon or ascending yourself. this approach of going for a pseudo aeon would lower the difficulty significantly - Aeon r bound to their concept/path, they would have lost some form of free will or even their original personality or conscious which would derail the plan as there is no way they can control a full aeon, even if they create the weakest aeon possible - by not become a full aeon, it would be easier to control, execute the plan and even suppress if anything go wrong with the newly pseudo aeon - And within honkaiverse, from ggz and hi3 to hsr, there have been many examples of pseudo god (god=aeon, same type of being but different name within honkaiverse), few recent prime example i can list r Fake God Otto, Finality Kiana and in hsr, Sunday embryo of philosophy which is basically just few step away from full aeonhood => in conclusion, a pseudo aeon would likely be the best choice for the plan, lower difficulty, easier for control and higher chance of success

I heard a theory that the other part Long, the Permanence, divided to could be Propagation, thus completing the puzzle that Long divided to Abundance anf Propagation. There were some arguments supporting this theory but it‘s quite long and it could have something to do with this.

Given my complete knowledge of every single piece of Jingliu lore there is (not joking), I have 3 things to point out. While I tried to make this short, this explains most of the Godslayer Protocol from 3 key points related to the video, so forgive me as it’s kinda long for a YT comment. Enjoy: First, Jingliu and Luocha are probably allying themselves with the Xianzhou not because they truly need their strength, but because it’s more convenient. The Xianzhou aims to restore the cycle of life and death by following Lan, but are caught in an endless paradox where they’re simply upholding the already existing cycle of life and death. Jingliu wants to truly end this cycle, but realized that she has to replace it with something else (as a simple war can’t end it), and that’s where Luocha and Ruan Mei come in: they’re not just gonna kill or replace Yaoshi, but Lan as well, to make a new cycle of life and death. Now, what is the Swarm disaster described as in the databank? A cycle of life and death, caused by mortal desire (more on this in point 2), that caused a war among Aeons. They don’t need the Xianzhou per se, as the Swarm (and other calamities) is fated to return and this will provide an opportunity to interact more easily with the Aeons (and change the cycle of life and death). They want the Xianzhou’s help because their goals are aligned, and it would be smoother for them to join forces rather than engage in a one-for-all war between Emanators and Aeons. The Xianzhou isn’t necessary to kill Yaoshi, but it’s more convenient if they join forces (rather than, for example, Jingliu and Luocha fighting Shuhu to get to Yaoshi, while Shuhu is also fighting the Xianzhou, and the Xianzhou wants to arrest Jingliu, and Phantylia inserts herself in the middle. Plus the IPC being interested and whatnot. A messy one-for-all. Plus Jingliu isn’t really an enemy of the Xianzhou despite her status, so they have no reason to fight each other). 2. Jingliu and Luocha technically don’t need the Xianzhou’s help in killing Yaoshi, like I said, as they don’t need brute force. This is for 2 reasons. Lingsha and Luocha have repeated the exact same line: the Abundance can’t be killed by brute force, not even by an Aeon, as long as mortals desire immortality. (So Kafka’s 2 known ways of killing an Aeon won’t work on Yaoshi, leaving the unknown 3rd… Jingliu’s revelation). This echoes the Swarm disaster being fated to return since it was born from mortal desire; Tayzzyronth was “killed”, but not actually, and will return regardless. The Abundance would be the same. Brute force isn’t a permanent solution, just as the Abundance is still a threat despite Jingliu literally destabilising their entire faction for 700 years, which brings me to the next point: if they need brute force, Jingliu already has plenty. She’s their biggest legend after all, and contextually found a way to overpower Emanators when she saved the Luofu and was exiled (but she still can’t remove Shuhu’s immortality, because she can’t rid the entire Path of Abundance with brute force). Besides, Luocha literally says Jingliu has long since obtained the power to split heaven and earth. What is Feixiao’s life goal? To split heaven and earth, aka retracing Jingliu’s steps when she was still the Sword Champion (trying to overpower the followers of Abundance alone, not seeing the bigger picture). Which is also why I assume that Shuhu will return during the trial and Jingliu will save us with her mythical might, which explains why Jingliu is so confident in her proposal, but enough about that. 3. As the cycle of life and death (and the fate of the various Paths governing these concepts) becomes important, I hope Jingliu’s remaining secrets will become a key in this. We’ve already had a lot of focus on Luocha’s coffin, but not that much on Jingliu’s “revelation” despite Jingliu being the stated leader of the plan, and Luocha literally saying it’s Jingliu’s “revelation” that will allow them to achieve what he calls impossible (killing Yaoshi). So what are Jingliu’s secrets? She received the gaze of an Aeon. She solved the mara when she obtained her “revelation”. Her body is frozen. She claims to have both obtained and become a metaphysical sword beyond all mortal means, which she also calls a stolen sliver of moonlight (celestial objects=Aeons). And she has yet to truly take off her blindfold, one among many details that suggest a transformation. So unless they wanna butcher her, these secrets will be a key part alongside the coffin in how they aim to kill Yaoshi, which would fit well as a big reveal when their arc begins with the trial (and Shuhu’s return, maybe). So what could this be? I believe she either stole part of an Aeon’s power or figured out how to become one herself, and that’s why her body is frozen. Her body is her sword and that halts the mara, but she has yet to fully remove it; because she has yet to fully transform. The terrible price she’s gonna pay, worse than eternal torment, is either self-sacrifice or becoming an Aeon to replace Lan. Her achievements may offer a clue about her final transformation: absolute zero, the absence of all energy. By becoming an Aeon of Death (or something) she can truly “kill” the Abundance by removing the very energy it’s sustained by, and then Luocha/Ruan Mei will create a new Aeon of Life (Abundance/Propagation/Permanence) that will fulfill the Yin/Yang trope in the cycle of life and death. This would “kill” both the Abundance and the Swarm permanently (hopefully it’s not just a repeat of absorbing one Aeon into the other or sealing them, as that’s a well-known possibility already, but a different and actual “death”). Bonus point: Jingliu becoming an Aeon of Death/Godslaying, governing the life and death of Aeons and mortals alike, would explain why Kafka wants the “power of the Hunt” against Nanook when Lan has already proven to be unable to kill Yaoshi (plus, Aeons can’t truly die… yet). And why Elio considered Blade’s swordsmanship (Jingliu’s) to be important. Jingliu’s remaining secrets are gonna be the key factor in this war among Aeons, both against Nanook and Yaoshi, to break cycles instead of endlessly repeating them. Or Jingliu isn’t gonna become an Aeon at all, and the ultimate godslayer technique is just using Tayzzyronth’s remains to seal Aeons forever, which would also work on Nanook - idk. But I have no good theories besides Jingliu replacing Lan as a true concept of “death” in the cycle of life and death, and I’d find it boring if they just plan to overwhelm an Aeon with brute force or use a pre-existing seal to seal them. We’ll see. That’s what I think, but there are other worthwhile theories, and smaller details I didn’t mention. For example, who did Jingliu receive the gaze of? Now that’s a long discussion, which ties heavily into the (current) plot holes of the story. She could even be pursuing something entirely different than becoming an Aeon, and might’ve been empowered by Terminus (the only Aeon that’s able to “kill” other Aeons, but that’s also a long discussion, also tied to HI3 lore so it’s even trickier). The above theory is my best and most coherent for Jingliu, including most of the mysteries of her lore while staying true to her progression, but doesn’t fully explain every detail in her own lore and only lays the outline for her allies’ roles in this. It’s not a bad theory if I say so myself, but it could definitely change, especially if the remaining reveals turn out to be completely different from what they seem. So we’ll see.

Best way to subdie an Aeon, absorb them a la Xipe eating Ena. Didn't Ruan Mei want to become an Aeon? And she's all about creating life. If she becomes a life creating Aeon, that could be broader than Abundance and she coukd absord Yaoshi

What would be interesting to see is if the involvement of Loucha is for alterior motives, maybe he is the one who wants to raise to an Aeon alone and Ruan Mei may want to help him to see if its possible

so, it'll be like in a lot of movies, a plan that looks great in theory, but in practice will be a disaster (refering to if ruan mei is actually trying to recreate an aeon that she "controls")

My first thoughts when I saw video name: Godslayer. Like god cosplayer, right? ... Right?.. ohh shit it's about jingliu

I don't know why this bothers me, but I feel like the Propogation just appears too often. The 1.5 attack on the train was Propogation, Ruan Mei was making Propogation's emanator, the thing in the Coffin is Propogation, etc... I don't know why exactly this bothers me though, cuz the path of Propogation is a lot more interesting to me than many of the other paths, but it feels very odd how much of the plot centers around it.

If this happens won't Lan cease to exist? Since their whole thing is to hunt down yaoshi and since yaoshi might die lan's whole goal of getting rid of yaoshi would be fulfilled

What if their plan is to have the path of propagations absorbed the path of abundance.

would it be more easy to just help lan find yaoshi, why use the big bad bug. and in the end, lan will become a danger, forever attacking other for any reason.

Ruan mei will cooperate will the xianzhuo to bring down yaoshi of abundance, but her secretly alt motive is to become an aeon still , she might use the propagation to defeat/weakens yaoshi so she can consume it to become the new abundance aeon... all I'm saying is Ruan mei haven't given up her idea of becoming an aeon and she's probably only using the xianzhuo alliance.

9:20 "we don't know how they will control these aeons given the primum mobile exists" does it exist? they imply at the start of the game that the aeons can't not go against their path and if they did they would die... but how do they even know that? where did they get that information? which aeon died by going against their path? of the aeons that people know how they died, it wasn't by straying from their own path, and as for the ones that we don't know how they died... well i mean we don't know how they died, so even if they did die that way... again how do people have that information? i've been seriously wondering for a while how people know the primum mobile exists since there's never been an example showcasing it in either case. in fact there are cases that seemingly break the supposed strictness of it, with the trailblaze who apparently just acted like a normal human at all times, and the elation which can just pretend to be a normal human and not do anything directly or obviously elation related for a full year. is there just some lore i missed where they explain where or how they learned it? did an aeon explain it to someone, how would an aeon even know if they never seen another aeon deviate and they them selves never did? or are they just aware if they deviate they will die?
