WHAT IS LIKE LIVING IN BACOLOD CITY, PHILIPPINES 

I have a big map of the Philippines 🇵🇭; Bacolod (the Capital city of Negros Occidental and the largest city in the entire island of Negros) and Dumaguete (the Capital city of Negros Oriental and the second largest city in the entire Negros Island) are my two favourite cities in the Visayas Region besides Cebu city. I really like this vlog because it touchbase on life in Bacolod, I also like the vlog about life in Dumaguete from Sunshine Shoulders. I can't wait to tour Visayas the next time I come to the Philippines. The Visayas Region really look like the great place to be. Thanks Roger and Ismi 👍

I've lived here for seven years and it suits me perfectly - lots of good amenities without the big city pressure. It's a good place to live for sure. Not so sure that I agree with the young lady when she says there aren't many brownouts..lol, but I guess in comparison to other places it is more stable than most. If any foreigner is thinking of moving here, I would say...come and visit a few times and look for yourself and judge whether you can see yourself living here. ..that's what I did. A city with an airport and a port is very useful....nice areas to visit surrounding Bacolod - lovely countryside. Not much in terms of beaches unless to go to Sipalay or Lakawon, but really....you have most of the things you need here.

Very nice in bacolod . While there you can easily travel to guimaras Island another beautiful place not many tourists nice places to stay clean beaches . Philippines is blessed with natural wonders. Winter is coming here in Australia think I better get my ticket booked now

I used to play in that lagoon in front of the Capitol in the mid 70s. My brother was born in Bacolod in 74, me in Iloilo in 72.

They don't cultivate fish at the lagoon..they just put fishes to add attractions..

Great video, really enjoy the ones out and about in the local areas, seeing the sights and people. After watching 100's, maybe 1000's of videos by now from many different vloggers, one thing I've noticed, in vlogs from Filipino's it looks like all the locals don't pay much attention to you and turn away when they see the camera, but when it's a foreigner, they're all happy and smiling, waving and talking to them. Might be a good social experiment to try if you know a foreigner that'll be willing to participate, you walk through a market and see what kind of reactions and interaction you get, then have the foreigner go through the same market a bit later and see what they get and compare the 2.

Please, don't tell me there's a sudden resurgence of Covid after they just opened the Philippine borders two months ago? I understand there still may be mask requirements In public locations. It is a midsize urban tier with amenities , medical infrastructure , fast internet service . Looking for adventures , Mambukal hot spring resorts, Lakawon beach in the North, snorkeling, scuba diving in the south of the province, Palapala, Manokan within the city are smorgasbord area, foods are available fresh for cooking if you want that kind of lifestyles, prices are within reach but most of all, the ambiance is a layed back yet modern city in the making, edit: North and South( 5 miles)are another interesting cities ,Silay, Talisay and Bago you will find century house, places where history are preserve for us to remind our history in the past. Seek and explore you will find it.Soon my living abode

You're not well informed.. Capitol lagoon is not the only place surrounded with tall buildings.. Mandalagan area has the tall buildings of bacolod
