I’d love to see a longer almost hour long version of these, Alistair is very good at explaining these things while the host is good at catching details that might fall through the cracks
Hey Carl Great video with your Pro AV Acadamy. Here is my advice: Include graphics, vidoe footage, etc. in order to demonstrate some of the keye sentences and words. E.g. when Alister explains gamma curve, include some footage to make people understand. Describing everyting in words is one thing, but showing is better. :) Dylan
Hi Dylan Agreed, that would definitely be better and help it be clearer. We decided to keep these videos simple chatting ones for now though, to mean we can make them quicker alongside all our other content. As there’s lots in the pipeline! Carl
Excellent, thank you for sharing. I love this format (expert itw), and it's well filmed, good sound, so easy and pleasant to watch. Top ! And I totally agree, Log is not always the best setup. With my GH5, I often use natural profile, and in many situation, it works good. With my Sony Z150 or X70, I use a custom Picture Profile (PP), one dedicated to inside, the other one for outside shooting.
Alister's advice was useful Carl. I'm new to V-Log, so I've been filming a film in V-Log with my Panasonic GH5 and GH5s, but on other situations I've used the Natural colour profile which I highly recommend.
Hi Dan, thanks for your reply and advice. I saw someone on facebook group talking about why there footage was so noisy. It because they shot it in low light, and they used Log and they had bad lighting!
