Excellent video and overview. Is there a way to report on the data once it’s there? ie built-in dataverse reporting like excel pivot charts and graphs? Or would have to manually build that functionality?

Should Tables created in Power apps for Teams show up in the Dataverse Tables Tab in Power Apps? I'm not seeing there and wondering how my users were able to to create Dataverse Tables since they don't have permissions to do that directly in Dataverse.

Hi Lisa, Thank you for the nice intro. Could I ask you to elaborate on what you mean when you refer to the tables you are creating as actual relational database? For instance, can you create a composite unique identifier? Can you specify the cardinality for a relationship? Are these tables actually SharePoint Lists underneath? Thank you

It’s a “lite” version of Microsoft Dataverse (formerly known as the common data service) which is what sits underneath Dynamics 365, enterprise CRM. Yes, you set up 1:N and N:N relationships between the tables, but it’s all done with no code. It’s not SharePoint lists underneath, it’s an alternative which is big step up in capability and capacity vs SharePoint.

Hi Lisa, If you deploy an app to a Teams (in your example Melbourne Team) does it create a new teams environment? If so, If I deploy the app to 100's of team does it create new environment for each team ?

Hi Lisa, with standard E3, How big of dataverse we can have , is there a limit of 2 GB/team or number of records when launched from Teams

Each Dataverse for Teams environment can have up to 2GB storage (which is about 1 million rows of data), so if you need a bigger database than that you'd need consider upgrading to full Dataverse.

Yes, that's per Team. The number of Teams you can have using this varies from 500 up to 10,000 depending how many Microsoft 365 seats your organisation has - see here for further details - powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/more-environments-more-places-and-more-capabilities-when-you-need-them/

Yes, you can import from Excel into Dataverse for Teams tables.

Is this something I could use as a developer to build a data entry app for a client that has a Teams license? In other words, could I (with a Teams license) build an app for a different company that has a different Teams license?

Yes, you can do that. You can export a solution for the app you build, which can then be imported into the other Teams tenant.

If you navigate to the Power Apps icon in the left menu, then select "Build", you should be able to see a list of all the components of your app, including the tables. Clicking on a table will take you to the maker experience where you can see the full database.

Thanks @@LisaCrosbie . However, how can I take that table to a tab of my team? Should I create an app with my table? This way, by clicking on Start this screen --> my table, Power App allows me to interact with my table but I cannot see all my records in a full database. Thanks!
