Wow, Dr. Pete. Terrific interview with really valuable information. The KetoCitra sounds very promising just not sure I can budget it right now. And as a 9 month carnivore Dr. Weimbs has me somewhat alarmed at the potential for harm given his thoughts toward the end of the session. And, yet, I seem to be doing better so far than on any other diet/eating plan that I've undertaken. I want to continue for a full year and then assess. And I'm maniacally strict about: no sugar, alcohol or fruit. Thanks again for this presentation. No one else, that I'm aware of, is doing what you're doing for those suffering from gout. Thanks for all you do.
I think your progress is awesome and I would continue the way you are going. Remember that we are all looking for a way that works for our own unique biology.

How to fix sleep, uric acid fluctuations and gout. Your reply helps.
Although I love listening to your lectures and learn bit by bit about metabolic processes, I am really confused with this plant based diets, even if keto. I have a chronic kidney disease since childhood and been carnivore for three years, never felt better in my life! But I do have high levels of Urea nitrogen and creatinine, tried using citrus water (and was thinking to get keto citra), however this is exactly when I feel pain in my kidney - when I get a bit of lemon water. Not in my stomach or digestive system, but in my kidney. I cannot explain this. Would really appreciate any advice, thank you for sharing your knowledge! Yana
Whether plant based or keto you must follow the same rules: eliminate hyperglycemia, fructose and added sugar, processed foods and meat, and cut way back or eliminate alcohol.
