What Michael is sharing are real gems and everything is true according to my experience in prison. I can't put enough emphasis on how important the little things are inside prison such as cigarettes, food from commissary and the telephone because fights breakout over these things all the time. Love the story how that pillow case came down in front of the window that is a big deal him being given a package like that. Having access to those things gives you power inside there just as he said he traded stuff like that and got what was important to him the telephone when he wanted it. When I was there one single cigarette was worth 5 dollars minimum and so if you had a pack of Buglers that you rolled yourself that is a lot of money and even the same thing with Skoal or Copenhagen dip each one was 5 bucks so and free world objects that are contraband the price sky rockets in value and a lot of power to barter for things that you want and you make friends like that and sort of get a high status inside there when you have access to those types of things and that was my 1st lesson was seeing how a guy who could get things people wanted was very popular among the inmates and lucky for me I figured out how to do just that making my time much easier and as a result time went so much faster I was very fortunate because of it. This channel is one of the best on RU-vid right now I have to say. Keep them coming.

Thank you for being so honest and direct about the LCN/Mafia in your talks.I worked for some people who owned strip clubs in Boston, and I can tell ya, they weren't Mormons !! Most people wouldn't know a real "made' guy if they tripped over one, and these guys were no exception.Nobody "wore" it, all were men who did what they had to do to make their businesses run right.Keep on teaching people, and God Bless You !!!

Thank you so much for being so real about just everything. I feel like our society is full of hypocrisy and pretending. I really needed this. Will share your advice and stories with those who need it. God bless

The most profound quote in The Godfather. Michael Corleon: "My is father is no different than any powerful man, any man who is responsible for other people, like a Senator or President." Kate Adams: "You know how naive you sound, Senators and Presidents don't have men killed." Micheal Corleon: Michael pauses for a second and laughs under his breath before saying, "Who's being naive, Kay?" Jeffery Epstein.... enough said.

Hey Michael, I was curious about your comment about there being consequences for made men in the mob. As a historian, I wondered, didn’t something like that happen to Tony Spilotro? From what I understand, he was blatantly disregarding the Chicago Outfit’s rules, even going so far as to sleeping with Lefty Rosenthall’s wife, Geri, lying about getting approval for murders of his own crew who turned against him, and in the end, I think he and his brother were kicked to death and buried in a corn field, as a way to get back at him for all his screw ups in Las Vegas.

I'd really like to know what the New York mob thought of the Jersey mob. Towards the end of the sopranos we saw scenes of the New York mob referring to the Jersey mob as farmers as if they were nothing etc. I wonder how much of that was true. Would be nice for Michael to confirm this

That's exactly what I'm always thinking off, after being a huge fan of Sopranos. I literally don't see any of these real guys mentioning New Yersey... It's impossible that they are that weak and not worth mentioning and the whole deal of "5 NYC families"... What about others? :D Also, I would like to know more about Southern/Midwest US and their "mob".... (not counting obvious cities, Chicago, "Mafia" that moved to Florida, Las Vegas, etc) I guess in the South some people just kinda get organized, rather than being Italian/Irish/Black gangs, etc.....

South Jersey is the farms, beach and suburbs mostly. Phila wiseguys ran that part of Jersey. North Jersey ain't farmers. Lotta farm land after you leave the Atlantic city and Camden area. The KKK is still around in those woods between Atlantic city and Toms River.

I've been going through hell, losing my 28 year career back in '16, let go again in '17 after relocating, and once more in '18...then the pandemic, I've lost almost everything except my family, and some good friends who've kept me from ending up in the street. Your testimony helps me survive the resulting, debilitating depression. I first heard you with Greg Laurie on either KWAVE or KZLA in LA. Thanks for all that you do.

Our Country has more individuals incarcerated than all the other Countries combined. Why? Primarily because it's profitable to the States; the government pays over $30+ thousand dollars a year for each inmate, it's all about the money.
