Thank you for the supportive comment, hope your son makes the conscious decision to better himself. That is ultimately what lead to me getting better is the choice to get better, and be part of the world. The decision to help yourself through it is a tough one to make, because everything is so negative it is tough to want to take part in it.

The greatest threat in society today is the use of 'ELF waves mind control' weapons being used to experiment on people's brains! (which can also be used to play with clouds and create droughts, etc.. And the tragedy is that some people end up in psychiatry because of this! And this has been going on a long time, sending people out of work, out of money and living their lives in a daily hell !. For me, I have psychosis NOS and I experience a lot of the same things too. Specifically, one of the first symptoms I’ve experienced was feeling like I could control the wind.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for the nice comment. I hope you can find a good therapist that can partner with you in your journey. There is a video where I listed out some resources for residents in my state. Maybe see if such things are offered in yours as well. I had a therapist while I was designated SMI and it was covered.

Hey sorry to hear your brother is going through the same thing. For me, part of me still doesn't believe its delusions, because they are so real. The point at which I realized I had to treat this like delusions is when I decided that I was going to live instead of hurting myself. Since then it's been a struggle trying to push this stuff away, and overtime I have gotten better at this through things I learned in therapy, and medication. It's good your brother is on medication and it helps, but at the end of the day you have to choose to fight it and live. That happened for me slowly over time. took me about 2 years to get back to a place to be able to work, and I made continued progress towards being independent. I am on medication yes. I was told by a doctor that medication makes 1/3 of people recover and they don’t have to take it anymore, 1/3 it helps but have to keep taking meds (I am in this group), and 1/3 the medication doesn’t help. The side effects are generally short term on new generation of meds which I’m on. Some persist and I take side effect medication for it. Thanks for the comment!

I try to not pay attention to this, but it is always there with me as well. For me it blows if Iam thinking and feeling the creator is happy with me. Thank you for your comment, good luck in your journey.

I have tried earplugs, the problem is it happens at the edge of sleep. When the brain registers it as a sound, regardless of knowing that it is a hallucination, I wake up.

I was in a place where I felt like there was nothing that could help me overcome my mental illness. I have been in psych wards multiple times. They are tough but its intervention when you are having symptoms. They put you on a path to recovery, then there is outpatient help to continue your recovery. Not sure where you are but I would look up SMI clinics in your area if there are any. Generally there are case managers and therapy session you can utilize along with medication management. I didn't like life when i was hopeless as well, so i understand. But to fight to stay alive and be able to overcome fears and still offer love to others. That is why I live to give my family love and support. It gets easier the longer you work on treating your schizophrenia.
