In the generic industrial foot there are left and right stitch in the ditch feet, presumably so you can choose between sewing either side of a quilt block. I like the look of sewing out of the ditch. It just looks neater unless your ditch sewing is absolutely precise.

Would you recommend one of these Dutch feet for sewing on binding? (After attaching binding to the front and flipping to the back, I like to stitch in the ditch on the front to catch the binding on the back). Or do you prefer the left compensating foot? I own the 18QVP. Thanks.

I still prefer he left compensating foot. It might not even catch the binding if you use the in the ditch feet.

One is Janome and one is off market. Doesn’t sound like either are actually for the Juki machine. I am a bit confused. ??

Having purchased the non integrated, i didn't know there was another one, i would not recommend it. The part that rides in the ditch, hangs up on every seam intersection, even with zero foot pressure.

We didn't have it set for this fabric or thread. Wasn't worried about it since we weren't talking about tension settings in the video. Just needed to show what the feet do ;)
