What is The Best Budget PC Handheld Under 400$ 

I forgot to talk about the AYANEO NEXT line of devices. They have similar prices to the Steam Deck, but you get much older processors with Vega 8 graphics. Even the most powerful version of the NEXT is still much worse than the Steam Deck. I made a whole video about how much I dislike the AYANEO NEXT

Personally i think there isnt an objective best budget handheld PC, or best handheld PC in general because I personally prefer SteamOS and don't like windows on a handhelds and others will feel the opposite. I think a refurbished Steam Deck LCD will be the best budget handheld PC for most but not all, either that or a rog ally.

I was able to grab the Asus Rog Ally for $350 at the Sam's club near me, definitely worth it, in my opinion!

Just received my 512 LCD steam deck yesterday. Got it on sale for $335. It felt like I couldn't say no. Took me five hours to get it to simply turn on and download its updates. Had problems linking to my Steam account, and more troubles downloading my first game to it from my library. It's definitely not a "out of the box" device. You'll be tinkering and troubleshooting from the first moment. Still, I wanted to dip my toes into pc gaming and everything it opens up to you, so I kinda knew what I was getting into. Can't really complain for the price. It's a new hobby and pastime that comes with a lot of ongoing learning, but it's what I wanted to try. I'll probably have to spend another $100-200 on other peripherals and things to really use it. It's going to get docked and displayed on my TV. Gotta have a keyboard and mouse for it.

solid video. im too scared to do the internal memory swap myself but that will definitely be the route in the future once i work up the courage. buying a 64gb and then upgrading is definitely the play

Damn Legion go is so cheap there, where I live 512 brand new full price still cost equivalent to around 870$ and around 670$ used

A bought a msi claw at 450 dollars because it was on sale and in comparison the 512 gb steam deck oled is at 530 dollars , but!!! A few guys on reddit bought the msi claw at 388 dollars !!! In short with sales any console can be under 400 xdd (and they got on sale like a lot lol)
