What is the Best Uniform in Every Major League Baseball Team's History?

With 30 MLB teams, there were a lot of uniforms and history to go through, but I think I curated a pretty interesting list. By no means is this a ranking of the uniforms. This is just me going through each team and picking one uniform I like that they wear or have worn. What is your favorite uniform? Let me know, down in the comments Thanks for watching.

@@bcsports_ I preferred the Red Sox pullovers. 1974 Astros were better. 1970s Royals home unis. 1973-1986 Twins home unis. 1972-1979 Oakland A's home unis. 1978-1982 Padres, home or road. 1982-1986 Mariners home unis. 1970s Rangers home unis. 1977-1986 Blue Jays home unis. 1969-1971 Senators home unis.

White Sox best uniforms by far are the ones worn during the black Sox scandal with the big S and small o in the upper open part of the s and small x in the lower open part of the s. Also pretty much any jersey from the late 50s to early 60s with the shorter sleeve length looks better than anything currently

I am fully on board with the green Tampa Bay uniforms that you selected. When they had those colors, I just couldn't get enough of them. However, you missed the mark with the Padres. Has to be the Brown and Orange Pinstripes from 1985-1991 for San Diego. Great video nonetheless!!

Same, the blue alternate with the swing friar was their best look or the grey road jersey from the late 90's.

Never a fan of brown as a team color, but I think the Padres' early, original white and brown uniforms with the brown hats look very sharp. I agree re: the swinging friar--excellent. Blue, orange or any other "try something new" color have no place in that uniform look. Those kind of remind me of all the varieties of the Chicago White Sox--struggling with finding an identity and in this case struggling with the fact that brown is their primary color.

I TOTALLY disagree with you about the road Dodgers jersey. Not only is their best uniform the home kit they’ve always worn, it’s the best uniform in baseball. And the Marlins best one is their original home kit with the block jerseys.

I'm a mariners fan too and I completely agree with your assessment. There's too much silver in the uniform now. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Wish they would take out the silver

As a Tigers fan, I would cut it down to 1958-2017 on the home jersey. I may be an odd one out but I loved that the D's were slightly different on the hats and jerseys and kinda prefer the flat-top D to the spikey one. At the time, press releases emphasized the "traditonal" aspect of the one they kept, but the one they removed is, by far, the older version.

Totally agree with your thoughts on the Reds. Red & white that's all they need. If Reds fans want the black accents they can grab some Hiroshima Carp merchandise.

Ya dude, way off on the Athletics uniforms. Their Black with yellow/white/green lettering was by far their best uniforms. They wore them from 2008-2010, so only 3 years unfortunately. I personally liked their yellow jerseys (2011-2013) with the "A" on the left breast, and the Green version that followed shortly after (2014-2019). Even their black uniforms during the "Moneyball" era are up there, with all black and then green lettering. I own every one of these jersey's and the accompanying hats are awesome for all of them. Although the yellow jersey's just featured their regular yellow/green hats. The green they used for their alt uniforms was awesome and so much better than the green alt they had before that. They need to bring back their black uniforms in some variation.

I did like the 2016 Padre jerseys but I think it just reminds us of the bad teams we had and the 2015 hype.. So glad you called out the corporate white jerseys they wore after though. But the 2016 being the best?? Nah. Padres have had some GREAT uniforms

9:55, since the brewers went back to the ball glove logo in 2020, they don’t wear the blue jerseys at home, only on the road, they have two different white uniforms they wear at home

Well, as a Red Sox fan...I do like the Cardinals unis, as well as the cream alternate Phillies, with no pinstripes. As for the White Sox, I saw them on the road in Kansas City in 1970 or 71, and they had these powder blue shirts and pants with red lettering, outline in white, with red hats with the old SOX lettering, red stirrups with the White Sox logo on them, and red shoes. THAT's a look that leaves an impression.

You knocked it out of the park with this list. I'm glad you mentioned the Los Angeles Dodgers Road Jersey that says "Los Angeles" across the front. As a Mariners fan, I'm glad you mentioned the Road Jersey's that you did. I don't like the two-tone hats. I like the sold color navy blue hat. For the St.Louis Cardinals, I miss the Road Uniforms from 1992-2012 that had the Navy Blue hat with the red STL logo outlined in white. To this day, that is still one of my favorite hats. I know they wear this hat once in a while, but it seems like they only wear this hat when they play the Reds in Cincinnati.

The texas rangers have the greatest set of uniforms i love what they have done with this mavolous design theirs is on a grand scale i love everthing about their look its great fantastic colors the word mark that light blue jersey is king of league they great stylish caps they hit the bulleye with this fabolous design all of they uniforms are stylish they done a fam good job with look the increctible royal blue they design towers over the others theirs is what i like they have a good designer they really done a great job with they look fantastic superb great sensational 💯🔥🔥🔥👍👍🏆

I love the Rangers uniforms(granted Im a bit biased since I love the team) but my only cmplaint is that the team is now putting "Rangers" in script on the front. It feels like the Rangers trying to be like the Dodgers. Which, they shouldn't. The Dodgers has a history that cannot be replicated, and the Rangers(yes came to be in the 70s) feels like a 90s expansion team cause thats when they came into their own. Basically bring back the Texas.

most would which is ironic when they started everyone made fun of them and said the look ugly. The better question is which is the second best one. The Colt 45 looks dam good pretty much most of their current uniforms also look good (they even have one of the better city connect ones), my personal fav is the brick red they had in the early 2000's and i don't know why as it is very different but it looks so good.

Yeah, I'm an old, soon-to-be irrelevant, traditionalist. I wish stirrups would come back. Pants down to the shoes looks godawful to me. One of the first games I ever went to ('60s Cleveland kid) was against the Red Sox. I thought the Sox red/white/blue stirrups looked great (they go all the way back to Babe Ruth). Now they won't even wear them as a throwback. The all-red sock knee-to-shoe, looks just as bad as pants down to shoes.

The new Nike outfit looks like poop. Elastic arm bands for ALL. Let every club pick their own mfg. This United States. I choose Wilson, you choose Russel. It's ok to be not the same. Let it be known that matching belts and shoes are something teams 12 and up try to do. MLB and that goof Manfred has been junking up baseball and destroying it intentionally for years. Undisciplined greedy mindset, and attempting to appeal to yuppies and rich college drunks is not a good idea. He has priced families out by design

The Tampa set is terrible. Their original home jersey is it for me. Jays best is the current Canada Day all-red. The Texas red alt of that era was great too. Padres is tough. Early 80s brown and yellow and early 90s pinstripes we're both good sets in their own rights. Love the tribute at the start to the best of all time: Expos home
