Hi. I live in Palm Springs and a pet peeve of mine is hearing the surrounding desert cities around PS, being called Palm Springs. Why is it that they all call themselves Palm Springs? Is is only because Palm Springs name is more recognizable? La Quinta is not Palm Springs and you have pointed out the differences very well here. Thanks!

It’s sort of a local thing when you go anywhere in California if you tell people you live in La Quinta or Palm Desert many people don’t know where that is. Hey M T. Indian Springs is nice but the community has a lot of traffic. Since short term rentals are allowed it can be a good option for anyone looking for an income property. However if you live there full time that can get annoying. It is more affordable and the HOA’s aren’t as high as other clubs so that’s a bonus! I heard that they had some problems with the golf course but don’t know much other then that. I’ve helped a lot of people but in the other 55+ communities. A lot of people I show at Trilogy get turned off by the distance from town.
