Borodere sounds like it comes from boroboro which means falling apart or like crumbling. So maybe it could be a dere type for dying or terminal characters who fall in love with the main character like Kaori from Your Lie In April or Sakura from I Want To Eat Your Pancreas.

There is an expression "ボロが出る" in Japanese which means something like "accidentally exposing yourself". So I thought Borodere is like someone who is trying to hide that they love someone but *accidentally* expose their love to them with some word or action they didn't mean to say/do. I guess this meaning can also be called "Porodere" from "ポロッと" which is more light version of ボロ (in a sense of "exposing yourself"). Imo dere type of "dying or terminal characters" doesn't really make much sense because they don't really usually have much common characteristics. Someone may hide it, some may not. Someone may be lively (like Kaori) and someone may actually be depressed and so on. So I don't think it could actually exist, because it doesn't express anything certain about the character's personality.

The only one i definitively knew it was not was A, thats the only one i 100% have heard before. I also think ive heard C before, but im not nearly as confident on that one haha. As someone who does not watch anime, or anything really, my knowledge is solely based off of video games and the random assortment of RU-vid whatevers i watch haha. A dorodere is like an intrusive thought. It's always there deep down but you don't really act on them. once you do you become a yandere an intrusive thought you actually go out of your way to accomplish .
There was a pretty easy way to see either B or D were wrong: B was Dorodere while D was Borodere, they took option B and swapped the B and D, so the chances of those being wrong were higher
I only know the main 5 (yan- tsun- dan- kuu- and deredere), never heard of these! Edit: forgot about kami and hime, used to know those too back when I was big into this kind of stuff!

after slight research I did once for an online group, I think I'm sth not included in this group 『undere』 because I automatically say 'un' 'okay' 'sure' 'mhm' to...quite a lot of things, and although I'm stubborn, the more I like/become familiar to a person (more friends than family - relationshipwise : idrk tbh) my stubborness wanes (although I can be pretty protective, so when I know my friends might be doing sth stupid, I'm not about to go "uh-huh sure" to those situations)
honestly it would've been save to either guess borodere or dorodere since they're very similar sounding and more often than not there will be an answer very close to the actual answer.
He said those names in like a Unpolished korean accent. So when I wasn’t paying attention and doing something and swiped here he asked which one of these is not a Dere and I heard “Shundere” but it sounded more like “Sheunndeuare” rather than “Shundere”.
Thought for sure Yottadere would be wrong, because yotta is a metric prefix for 10^24. Seemed like a cheat to trip someone up if they didn't know numeric prefixes. Turns out I was wrong.
