I'm so blessed by this! My soul is rejoicing...I have never heard feast of weeks, Passover and Pentecost explained so clearly. Brother, the power of Jesus Christ is in you. Continue to speak the truth.
I am learning to see the connection between Passover and the Resurrection, to now the Ascension and the receiving of the tongues of wisdom, it seems there is a connecton to the Shavuot. Thank you for your sharing and I thank the Lord for this grace✝💗✡.

As a Christian I am trying to learn more about all the Jewish Feast and what they mean and the significance they represent. I continually find myself viewing Messianic Rabbis and and listening to Messianic Jewish programs to learn all I can about the traditions of Judaism. Thank you for the video.
Yahuah as my witness, I celebrated Passover and Unleavened Bread together for the first time this year set on observing the Feasts of Yahuah. I had my doubts about the 'Law' being done away with for a while but was too afraid to truly search it out. Since Unleavened Bread Yahuah has shown me that the calling I felt towards the Torah was it being written in my heart and since starting to keep the Torah, Shabbat and count the weeks until Shavuot He has given me the greatest abundance of Shalom and happiness, He has blessed my family with unity on the matter and we are immersing one another into the name of Yahusha on Shavuot. Praise be to Yahuah and my King Yahusha for revealing so much to me in such little time! Shalom.
Good morning, sir/ ma'am. I have started reading and understanding Bible. I am a Catholic and never understood about Sabbath day, Unleavened Bread and Passover festival. How to do that? When do we come to know which feast is it? Please can you guide me, help me to understand the truth and law of Moses. In Catholic there are masses every day. People eat the communion ( bread) every time they go to church . Please can you explain about this Thank you sir/ ma'am God bless you.
@@Jonid5184 hello my friend is it better if we email as there are a few things you must know about the Law (Torah) the feasts and the Sabbath but I’ll try to do my best. It’s all in the Bible; Lev 23:5-11 (Passover/ Unleavened Bread/ Firstfruits), Lev 5:15-16 (Shavuot or the feast of Weeks), Lev 5:24-25 (Trumpets), Lev 5:27-28 (Day of Atonement), 5:32-36 & 39-42 (Tabernacles), Please keep in mind that there is no longer a need for sacrifices or offerings as the Messiah (Yahusha/Jesus) is our perpetual offering. The Sabbath is on the Seventh day or Saturday from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday. No hard work is to be done, we are not to make others work for us and we are not to buy or sell either, it is a day of rest of “shalom” and dedicated to Yahuah our creator. As for the Torah the main things to remember are the Ten Commandments, dietary requirements (no swine, shellfish, fish without fin or scales.) It is all in there my friend and I’m happy to continue sharing what I know and hopefully learning a few things from you in future if you would like that you can reach me on (imitatingyah@gmail.com). I hope this has helped. Shalom, Aaron.
@@imitatingthecreator . Good evening Thank you for sharing these verses of Word of God. Thank you so putting so much effort to make me understand the word of God. Hardwork? Household work can be done? Washing of clothes, washing utensils etc Yes, it is helpful May God bless you with lots of love, peace, joy and success filled long life. I have just started reading Bible few weeks ago. Now trying to understand and walk on the right path. Thank you
@@Jonid5184 Yahuah draws close to those who draw close to Him. You are doing exactly that my friend! Personally my family and I treat Friday as a preparation day to get everything we need to sorted and do a household clean up so we can rest on the Sabbath but as for menial tasks of just average things like making the bed or washing a couple of dishes I don’t see the problem but this is more of a personal preference sort of thing. Remember Sabbath was made for us so we shouldn’t burden ourselves with what we can and cannot do where the word isn’t specific or directly related to the task. It should be a matter of conscience for those small things and above all a day of rest and spiritual reflection and study. May Yahuah continue to bless your efforts.
Even though this video was 8 minutes long. I spent over 30 minutes contemplating, writing, and pausing its contents. Thank you for the revelations in this video ❤

Using the God-given, Lunar Calendar, we know that Pentecost, this year, falls on the 12th. of the fourth month (so-called `June`). Have a meaningful one!!!
Thank you for “the truth” Re: Shavuot. My pastor posted this for the congregation to read. It explains a clearer picture of the feast “ Shavuot Pentecost”. Thank you, & God continue to bless your ministry!
Thank you - this is my first year counting the Omer, I was instructed to begin on First Fruits & someone said you should have started on March 28 the second day of Passover. Thank you for making it clear, I began on the correct day - blessings!
Excellent message. Young's Literal Translation renders Exodus 20:18 as " 18 And all the people are seeing the voices, and the flames, and the sound of the trumpet, and the mount smoking; and the people see, and move, and stand afar off," YLT This goes right along with what you were saying about the languages spoken in Acts chapter 2.
this explained last week experience coming into this week's Shavuot perfectly. wow. without knowing the word, god was guiding me in preparation. Although I have no goats or rams, I do offer myself. lol thanks for the lesson, always explained with kindness and compassion. praise yahshua.
Supra 傷ついた that’s definitely Day 1 Christianity. Lol but thanks. What’s interesting about the video is the history. By understanding the history the sacrifice takes a deeper meaning.
Great commentary and historical account of Shavuot, giving all of us some insight. It would be great to see Christians as a whole to better understand the importance of following Jehovah's commandments and laws.
Grace, and peace, to you, and your loved ones. The Ten Commandments were given to the Israelites, not the Church. We were given two commandments to keep. To love God, and our neighbors. When you love the way Jesus loves, you won't break any of the Ten. We are filled with the Love of God by the Holy Spirit, in our new spirits. Why would I want to go back to an Old Covenant that doesn't work to bring new life? They couldn't keep the Ten Commandment, and we can't keep the two. Not much has really changed. Loving people isn't as easy as it sounds. And loving our enemies? Do you see much of that going on? I thank God for His mercies, amen!!! Be blessed!!!!

Penta comes from meaning 50. It was 50 days after the cross to Pentecost. It was 50 days from PASSOVER to the time when Moses went up.on the mountain to meet God.

I'm not sure which lie I just unlearned. It was a good teaching concerning the Feast of Weeks, though. Are you suggesting that Christians should be celebrating these feasts?
The Apostle Paul wrote in abundance in fear of those converted Pharisees who were bringing the Jewish practices into the New Covenant. The feasts all pointed to Jesus' work. He finished the work on the Cross. I can understand studying these things for the sake of knowing the Old Testament and how it prepared the world for the Coming of the Son of Man, but to continue them as some sort of religious mandate is erroneous. Jesus told us to do what in remembrance of Him? Observe the feasts? Nope. In order to observe the feasts (all of them) in accordance with the OT scriptures, sacrifices must be performed. Otherwise you are only half celebrating them. For instance, you must eat the Passover lamb, sacrificed in a particular way in order to truly celebrate the Pesach. Jesus was present at the last Pesach. He fulfilled it. All others since then are in error. Please convince me that I am wrong. With scripture or early church history.
Antonio Evans My understanding comes from a pretty good grasp of the difference between the New Testament and Old, and the application of the Covenants and who is under which. I am open to a proper exegesis of the scriptures, if you can provide it. I didn't come here to troll or drop a bomb, but rather understand why folks understand the Christian Faith in this way. I have no beef with Lex or anybody, but I don't understand this approach to faith that he is promoting. Before all the Laws there was a covenant with Abraham whom God counted righteous by Faith. That is the covenant that Christians have inherited. They are Abraham's seed, through Faith in Christ. I'm not saying the Ten Commandments aren't important or don't need to be observed, but even Jesus told us they boiled down to two things: love God and each other. This is the Whole of the Law. These were His new commandments to the disciples. All of the legal religious stuff (which never saved anybody) came out of the Mosaic covenant, which ended at the Cross. 2 Corinthians 3
Good to have you back, please keep in mind JAMES 3 Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, knowing that as such we will incur a stricter judgment. we all stumble in many ways.
Appreciate the lesson; very well presented!. However, I believe it would be best to quote the Torah (& NT as you did for other reference points) for the 70 tribes/languages vs a Rabbi (no disrespect to him) Genesis chapter 10) lists 70 different families. Blessings!
Just like once saved always saved is a lie! Revelation 3 because you have not soiled your garments i will Not erase your name from the book of life! That was written to the churches!

It was June 2 but keep studying and be ready for the next appointed time-Trumpets Sept 23- starting the evening before and kept from even to even as a Sabbath.
Hi, "Count 50 days after the 7th Sabbath'....that is 100 days no? I believe that although Pentecost starts out in the Spring, its culmination, 'when Pentecost fully came' is at the end of the 4 months that Jesus alluded to in the Summer harvest. Can you weigh-in on this angle? Blessings.
You are correct! Pentecost IS a summer festival. We need to unlearn the rabbinical lies too. Isaiah 18:4 ~ "For so the master said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the HEAT OF HARVEST." Jeremiah 8: 20 ~ "THE HARVEST is past, the SUMMER is ended, and we are not saved." Proverbs 10:5 ~ “He that gathereth in SUMMER is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in HARVEST is a son that causeth shame."

Why is it people will celebrate pagan holiday's i.e. Christmas and Easter quicker then Passover and Pentecost and other holy feast days that God commands us to follow?
Geraldine Pebdani the candy? Who knows! No really it's growing up with it. I never knew there was these HolyDays. They're hid from us on purpose by the enemy!
Celebrating the birth of Christ or his resurrection is NOT celebrating pagan festivals. Certainly they have replaced the godless celebrations that went on before them but to say they are pagan is deeply offensive to those of us to whom these celebrations speak. Neither does the fact that they are not commanded in the Bible make them wrong. Furthermore, under the New Covenant, the only celebration we are commanded to keep is the Lord's Supper. To keep the Jewish feasts may be a wonderful thing but they are no more compulsory than Christmas.
@@Freethinkingtheist77 oh please stop they aren't the tribe of judahs feasts why don't you actually read scripture and see whose feast days they are and yes Christmas and Easter are pagan and stop twisting scripture to justify doing the wrong thing.
Pentecost or Shavuot is "The Summer Feast" of the Wheat Harvest, and it is found with the CREATOR's CALENDAR in the Heavens, not with the worldly Pope's Gregorian Calendar. We have to count 7 (SEVEN) SABBATHS completed, and THEN we count 50 days, which will put us in the SUMMER. Traditions of men and wrong interpretation has done a great damage to this wonderful Feast of YAHUWAH. July 3, 2019
This would be very hard to do where I live. Our barley isn’t ready until mid June at the earliest. Our grain harvest happens during summer. During Pentecost our barley is only about knee high and still green. Our lambs and kids are the same though.

Shabbat shalom. I have it on today, after you count the 7 sabbaths after the first fruits and then count 50 days starting on the first day after the last sabbath. The Sabua'uth (pentecost) will be starting "today" at sundown July 13th, till sundown July the 14th.

Hey Brother, I enjoy your videos, but do not agree that we are in the "New Covenant". In reading all of the prophecy of Jeremiah, beginning with chapter 30 through 31, we are given signposts to look for..."Behold, the days are coming..." I don't see that these things have happened yet. In Jer. 30:3 It says both Judah and Israel will be brought back from captivity. Hasn't happened yet. Vs. 7 It speaks of Jacob's trouble. End time prophecy. At the time of Yeshua they were still the lost sheep of Israel. They still remain ungathered as one people. Vs. 11 He speaks of making a full end of all nations. And this is in the context of making a full end of all nations where Israel has been scattered. Has that happened? Vs. 24 ends with "In the latter days you will consider it". Chapter 31 continues with the prophecy Vs. 1 "At the same time," says Yehovah, "I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be My people." Vs. 7- 26 continue to speak of the regathering of Israel and forgiveness. Vs. 27 Behold the days are coming, says Yehovah, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man and the seed of beast. And it shall come to pass... continue reading on to vs 31 it states it is a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah... Has verse 34 happened yet? In my text in both Matthew and Mark where it speaks of Yeshua saying this is my blood for the new covenant, the word "new" is supplied/added. There certainly was a covenant made between the Father and Son, for Yeshua was the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. They agreed upon from the beginning this sacrifice was to be made for the remission of our sins. Yeshua fulfilled His part of that covenant. In Luke 22:20 it uses new covenant also, but it seems the word translated as new has other possibilities to that definition. The things of the covenant as given in Jeremiah have to come to pass, as we are given all those points as a sign post of the new covenant. Even those of us endeavoring to obey, are not all on the same page, let alone the fact that there are still many who do not know Him. Ezekiel 36 has many parallels to the new covenant passages in Jeremiah. I truly believe the new covenant spoken of in Jeremiah comes to pass at the very end. Maybe even after the Resurrection, I don't know. We are still really struggling. I certainly believe Yeshua's sacrifice is a key piece to even making the new covenant possible for us. So it opened the door for us, and we are walking towards it, but we haven't crossed that threshold yet. When Yeshua was with the disciples at the last supper. None of them even really understood what He had been telling them, that He was going to have to die, they couldn't comprehend it. A covenant has terms to be understood and accepted. The people who were present were completely blind sided. And we certainly are still waiting for the house of Judah to once again be reunited and joined with the house of Israel. I believe when the new covenant is brought to fulfillment, we won't still be struggling to know which calendar is correct, and so many of the things that we are trying to grasp and understand or that are still dividing the body aren't going to be there. We are all at that point going to know. And everyone alive at that time will know. Anyway, those are my thoughts. I realize controversial, but I just have to let the word say what it says.
The new covenant has been inaugurated in heaven when Yeshua presented Himself alive in the heavenly tabernacle. It just has not completed its work on earth yet, that day is still furure.
@@GatheringJacob Well, if you mean something along the lines that YHVH and Yeshua are not bound by space and time as we are...which fits with He is the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world, then yes....just as Scripture says that Levi was in the lions of Abraham. (Hebrews 7:10), yet it was still a future event at the time of Abraham. With Yehovah's prophecy, it is already determined, but is still a future event. He is the one who knows the end from the beginning.
@@MrsClippit Well sir this comment is really backhanded, and to further refute your comment about the plow... No human will ever be going/ascending to Heaven, Jesus made this very clear in John chapter 3. Our inheritance is the earth and we shall not leave it, not even in death.
I understand everything discussed but having no understanding of Jewish teachings, being a saved Gentile I am somewhat confused as to whether we need to celebrate the day of Pentecost and if so how? Our churches who worship on Sundays do not teach us these things so I a totally confused about all the feasts🤭
It may help to understand these are the feasts of the Most High, not “Jewish feasts” the nation of Israel in scriptural terms is not based on blood line but means those who CHOOSE to follow and obey the teachings of the Father. The laws in the Torah are a blessing and teach us how to live righteously. They are an absolute blessing to have and will be followed for eternity, by obeying these teaching we are being the Kingdom and His will to earth “…thy kingdom come thy will be done…”
Not so. Passover is the 14 of abib and 1st day of Unleavened bread is 15th and the morrow after the U/B Sabbath is the 16th- wave sheaf. The yr Messiah was crucified it happened to fall on a sunday but that controversy was before the Sabbath/sunday controversy catholic church made it always on sunday. The 16th wave sheaf or 3rd day is when Messiah rose from the dead and he walked with the disciples 40 days then ascended and told them to wait for the blessing promised on their being faithful to keep his appointed time Shavuot.
Many err in reckoning the Day of Pentecost because they fail to follow God’s instructions in Leviticus 23:14-15. Much of this confusion stems from translation problems-semantics and specific definition of words. God’s instructions, given in Hebrew, were specific and clear. When trying to decipher relatively simple instructions from God’s Word, people jump the track in every conceivable direction. But this should not be surprising. Consider explicit commands such as “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy…the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God: in it you shall not do any work…” (Ex. 20:8, 10). The vast majority (more than 99%) of professing Christians get this wrong. So it should not be surprising to find that various sects of Judaism disagree on reckoning Pentecost-yet many correctly determined Pentecost by following Scripture. Billions of Christians are waiting for the Return of Jesus Christ. Yet virtually no one understands how this will occur. The Bible reveals the shocking truth about Christ’s Coming, and the manner… By counting fifty days from the day "after" the weekly Sabbath that falls "during" the Days of Unleavened Bread, you can pinpoint Pentecost. On this day, the wave sheaf offering was presented. This ceremony involved cutting and waving the first sheaf of barley of the initial harvest. The fifty-day count began and ended on the first day of the week. What is the first day of the week? Look at any calendar. Theoretically, the day of the wave sheaf offering-the day after the weekly Sabbath-could be any one of the days of Unleavened Bread. The sacred calendar does not designate a specific day in the month of Sivan on which Pentecost should always fall. That is why a count is necessary. When the first day of Unleavened Bread falls on Sunday, then the seventh day of this feast falls on the weekly Sabbath, the last day of the week. When do you think the wave sheaf offering would have occurred? Remember, we are to place it on the day after the weekly Sabbath. The first day of the week for the wave sheaf offering was to fall during the days of Unleavened Bread. In this unusual situation, the first day was also the day of the wave sheaf offering. To follow the last day would place Pentecost one week late, on Sivan 12. Pentecost fell during the month of Sivan on the Sunday that fell on or between Sivan 5 and Sivan 11. These time constraints can be calculated by simply adding 50 days to Nisan 15 and adding 50 days to Nisan 21. (Keep in mind that Nisan always has 30 days and Iyar, the second month, always has 29 days-the count must be inclusive of the day of origin.) Hope this helps.
URGENT REPLY PLEASE Shalom of Y... Please clarify: Are we suppose to count 7 Shabbat (weekly Shabbat) after First Fruit Feast? For eg. If First Fruit falls on 29 th March at Sunset (this year 2021). The Messianic Doctrine (also refers to Exodus 19:1 and 10-11) counts 50 days from First Fruit Fea (Ceremonial Shabbat), thus they don't end up necessary on z 1st day of z week. Also according to what I understand, the First Fruit Feast is suppose to fall (same as Shavuot Feast) on z 1st day of z week (Leviticus 23:11). After Ya... was resurrected on Shabbat b4 sunset, and when Maria Magdalene wanted to touch Him early morning on z 1st day of z week, He asked her not to cling on Him bcse He hasn't ascended yet to the Father. So He did go to the Father as per John 20:17 on 1st day of z week.
At the end of the video, you stated that you pray the Holy Spirit will be given to someone at Pentacost or Shavuot. Your phrasing is odd bc it sounds like the OT idea that the Spirit could reside with someone and be taken away. With the coming of the Spirit after Christ, he comes to dwell in our hearts. The idea of the NT is that the Spirit dwells and stays.
There’s not such an Old Testament and New Testament 🤷🏻♀️it’s call the renew covenant Yahweh did through our beloved Messiah Yeshua. He said. He didn’t come to abolish the Torah(law) Mathew 5:17, which by the way it was translated wrongly 🙄. So there’s not similarity. It’s. Remember what Rab Shaul said. All the festivities are a shadow of what it’s to come.😍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼So keep Shabbat and the. You will be obeying the mitzvot of HaShem 😇Shalom
