I found day 10 was the hardest day.. I wanted potato's so bad. Withdrawals for starch hurts for just a short time. I got use to just eating meat after 2 months my family thinks I am nuts but support my decision. Stay away from all processed food and sugars.. all of it. Love yourself your worth it. There is a cheat day that could occur eg. Christmas ,Thanks giving and so on. On that day that you cheat something will happen and two days later you will be convinced of the experience. Your welcome and you will have a great day.
I have been easing into carnivore, and sauces have been so helpful. Horseradish and chimichurri sauces both have some vegetables/herbs but they really add a lot of that fresh taste that I was missing so much.
Eggs cooked up like crepes cut into 1/4" slices approximates noodles well enough to put slow cooked beef on. Kinda feels like a side dish. But beef or lamb and scrambled eggs really don't get boring. Just mix up the textures...ground, patties, thinly sliced, smoked, fried and slow roasted.
I believe this is why our ancestors had Sunday dinners that always included the carbs. If you worked on the farm, it was fresh bacon and eggs, coffee, and a steak for dinner until Sunday when you would have a big spaghetti dinner with garlic bread, or any variety of Thanksgiving spin-offs with mashed potatoes and all the bread. Maybe we were designed to eat like this.
No. We definitely were not designed to eat carbs. All pants are toxic to humans. Some a lot more than others. Carbohydrates are toxins in themselves. They caue a rise in blood sugar, which results in a spike in insulin, which results in damage to tissues. The insulins job is to get sugar out of the blood and into the cells where it can be used as energy. It must be taken care of quickly. As the longer the sugar is in thee body, the more glycation it does to cells. It can damge the organelles of cells. And kill these cells. Sugar is a carcinogen. Cells will eventually start turning cancerous in the presence of sugar. Glucose feeds the cancer. Cancers can not grow without it. Cut out ALL carbs, starve cancer, and it GOES AWAY. Simple as that. But dont wait until you are at end stage, it might be too late.
I don't know. Maybe it was just a guilty pleasure that could only be achieved on Sundays. I'm also told this is the one time the kids had a chance to grab a coke from the store.@@TquanAye
I believe maybe it was just something to "cut loose" on Sundays after a hard week of work. Family and friends would come over, play music, have a coke or a beer, and eat tons of food to get ready for the week ahead. Obviously we humans do things we know aren't good for us.@@dr.robertjohnson6953
How do you fight the sugar hunger? I tried the carnivor diet for some time, Its hard, especially at work and out with friends. At home its no problem...
Water, Coffee and keep boiled eggs in the fridge., a slice of cheese with tuna fish is my go-to. You decide to go cold turkey on sugars [meaning you'll never go back] you then find an alternative. The absolute most difficult part of the carnivore diet, is dealing with all the dickheads that give you an ear bashing with their "almighty wisdom" [usually recommending eating grains or veges like broccoli]
try doing it like I would have to: No meat with dairy ever. no pork or shellfish ever. Much harder!!! Best of success to you. your future self is saying thank you already. :)
Ha ha no heart problems. Doctors are doing this diet and encouraging people to do it. People who gave done it for 20/30/40 years are the healthiest they have ever been and look years younger than their age. Blood work comes back good every time. Do a bit more research and stop believing the lies of the government, big pharma and uneducated doctors.
@@PeterD4268 you've been conditioned to think that. They are not legitimately terrible for people. You might not be braindead but you're definitely brainwashed. Go eat your lucky charms for dinner and see where that gets you
