As a person from south india, the tamil font would actually be much smaller if it's displayed properly. Certain letters are 'combined' with other letters (it's complicated) and have basically an 'attribute'. Those little circles we see are actually just to inform you that the next character is one such attribute, which is to be combined with the letter before the circle. Would love to try and fix this if I ever learn how to lol.

Answering your questions about the banner patterns, these are genuine names used in the study (it exists!) of shields and coats of arms. A canton for example, refers to a quarter of a banner, dextre and sinister are derived from latin for right and left, etc. etc. The name of that field is heraldry and it’s super interesting so go check it out! (I’m not formed in any way in that subject I just happen to know a little about it)

Quick question: When converting to a language, such as tamil or some other, "Light Blue" might be actually really short in Tamil, and something else might be MASSIVELY long. For example, Light Blue might give 3 long characters in Tamil, while something else gives 15 medium ones. Thus converting from english to tamil is somewhat faulty, correct? There are some options you didn't try which are loaded crossbows, potions, and tipped arrows. You can add every single potion effect to the last two, and also load the arrow into a crossbow. You can also load a firework into a crossbow and get an even longer description

There's actually a modded inventory client that has a firework rocket with so many explosions attached to its NBT data that firing it will crash your game. I've done it in multiplayer servers and anyone who tries to enter render distance of the firework will immediately crash before they can even see the explosion.

Two notes: 1. With the lore, you can add a new line. This however reduces the possible characters so is not useful for this experiment. 2. Using datapacks you can bypass the command block character limit. This means you can have _even longer_ lore, and there does not seem to be a limit whatsover (apart from needing the free space). I don't recommend trying this though as when I created a mere 3 MB file for giving a lore item, running that and opening the inventory froze the game.

You can also combine all three.. like you can enchant the stairs you can do the exact same thing (I think) to the firework. And you can also add the lore to the firework

Using commands you can enchant the firework with enchantments above the set level that is defined in the language (11) file which will replace the text with .enchantment.level.. Doing this in 1.8 instead of 1.16 will allow for numeric ids to be used and the tagname is ench instead of Enchantments for further optimization. The Enchanting however is way outdone by the fact that you can stack Colors:[0,0,0,...,0] to get "Custom, " as color for just two characters (so an average of 4 per command character). I found out that your game crashes when you enter a command with a length over 32750 making the total length so we limit the command to 32749 characters. If you don't specify the type of the firework it will default to "Small Ball" (so we get 10 characters for free). Using the selector @p instead of a playername allows us to save here again. This will give us a command like this: "give @p fireworks 1 0 {Fireworks:{Explosions:[{Colors:[0,0,0,...,0]}]}}" Now for the math: The created firework will have - A total of 16345 colors (each being the 8 letters "Custom, " except the last which is just "Custom") - The 10 letters for "Small Ball" - An extra space infront of the Colors - 8 characters for the numeric id - 19 letters for the id - 13 letters for "NBT: 1 tag(s)" - 5 line breaks - 15 letters as name (30 if renamed) This means 16345 * 8 - 2 = 130758 [colors] + 10 = 130768 [small ball] + 1 = 130769 [space] + 8 = 130777 [numeric id] + 19 = 130796 [id] + 13 = 130809 [nbt] + 5 = 130809/130814 [Line breaks depending on if you count them] + 15 (30) = 130824 (130839)/130829 (130844) [Item name] So in conclusion: The longest item description I could find has 130844 characters Edit: I started with enchantments in the comment and totally forgot about adding enchantments with anvils This gives an additional 13 line breaks and 193 characters So in total we get 131050 characters pastebin.com/HZHGsw0C here's the full command for 1.8

Wifies has a style of videos that I have never seen before, I think he doesn't have all the love he deserves

you can add multiple lines of lore to an item. i don't know if it's still limited by that limit (probably not unless it's a hard limit set by minecraft) but you can do much more with it.

You can also change the attributes of an item to make it waaaaaay longer. For example you could make it so when the items in your offhand you have + whatever number of speed

You can set in the options the inventory Size to 1 to see more and activate the recipe book to move the inventory to the right

There is more, you can put the fire work with all enchants and all firework charges with the longest name and longest lore into a shucker box with the longest name and lore to add a 64 plus the name

For the Lore part, using /data or a datapack you won't have the limit of the Max amount of characters in the command block, which could possibly make it infinitely long.

the names for banner patterns are actually based off of real vexillology terms. also, stacking banner patterns actually hardens the barriers between colors. Normally, the banner layers have a little bit of transparency around the edges of the pattern to soften the barriers between colors, but if you stack the same pattern, these softened edges become harder.
