I havent bought anything new in months simply because prices everywhere are just too high for what you get. Inflation cured me of my fragrance buying addiction.
The one thing I've noticed on FragNet for a while was that the price they used for "retail" was often significantly higher that the actual retail price of the fragrance. Another thing I never liked was that being a NYS resident (FragNet is based in NY) I was always charged sales tax. These days I only shop there if something rare pops up. That being said, I was able to score Torino 21 from there a month ago for ~107, so there still are deals to be had, but they are getting fewer and farther between.
Yep, always check. Was checking a perfume for my wife, and the savings was only like $10, and I'd lose a little with shipping. So in that case just going to a regular retailer would be better.
Thanks for making this vid Ash! I wasn’t sure if I was getting jipped on certain fragrances from them but now I know for sure I was. Like Eros Flame on FragNet is like $111.99 and on FragBuy its $61.99. Crazy
I just got Gucci Oud Intense from them. It came in 2 days. Could not believe it. I've bought over 100 fragrances from them and it always takes days maybe over a week. So if this is a change they are improving I'm all for it.
😂🤔😂 2days lol I'm on 4 days and they switched their vendor to On trac... first order was lost and On track send they delivered it. NOT lied about it but fragrancenet were champs and sent me a replacement. 2nd order now its 4 days later 2 out for delivery notices so far. Still no package delivered 😮
@@Musicman369I HATE OnTrac. Always gotta do a little prayer when I’m notified that they’ll be delivering my package. It took like 3 weeks to get Spice Bomb Extreme and then when I finally opened it up, the was a freaking hole in the part that holds the atomizer to the bottle. The boxes were fine but it looked like someone jabbed a screwdriver into the thing. They’re just a super shady company and their employees are known for “losing” packages
I ordered Invictus Intense from them for really cheap. About a week later they cancelled my order. Then i check the website and they still have it in stock but for a higher price 😠
I don’t recommend buying from them if you’re living in the Middle East. Of course it’s still your choice but personally I had a terrible experience with them or technically with the shipping company that they deal with. Basically it has been over a month now and I still didn’t receive my order yet. That’s why I asked for a refund and I’m still waiting for their response. SO PRAY FOR ME GUYS!!
Call the bank. Tell them that you have contacted them to no avail. They are going to tell you that they will contact them, and you will get your money back. I bought a book on eBay.... it NEVER shipped, I contacted the seller, never responded, 7 days later I called the bank, they told me that they were going to investigate, the next day I got my money back.
I got La Nuit de lhomme for $32 on fragrancenet in 2017. A got a bunch of others 50-75ml fragrances for like $50. It used to be my go-to. Then i stopped buying fragrances for a few yrs, and this yr i went back to check prices…..$100+ for almost any bottle over 50ml…
I personally enjoy them. Everything on RU-vid for the past like 5 years feels so sanitary and safe. It’s nice to see something that feels authentic even in it’s ridiculousness
I first noticed it a few months ago with a Jo Malone scent that Fragrancenet claimed was at a discounted price but that I knew I could buy in a retail store for less than their supposedly discounted price. I tried a few different times and scents since then but their prices were always disappointing so I haven’t even bothered looking for the last little while. Prices at Fragbuy seem too be less discounted these days too but they are still a lot better than Fragnet.
I used to like the content on this channel. Now I find myself annoyed because it takes him an hour to get to the content between all of the pop ups and lame jokes.
Sabina is my go to for designer new releases . They’re in Spain but ship faster than Joma . I’ve got ADG parfum and le male elixir both less than 100! They are high on mancera though
My order never showed. It took 3 weeks of emailing and B.S. "Oh we shipped it" but never got any updates on the tracking. Got my money back finally. Never again.
I live is southern California and when I bought from them it took about 3 to 4 weeks to arrive and it would be shipped from New York. This year the fragrances I've bought have arrived in 1 week and they are now shipped out of Reno Nevada.
Are your fragrances 100% legit? I’d really like to buy PDM Carlisle but really don’t want to get scammed with fake products…so many mixed reviews make it difficult to try out their company
I used them recently and received my items in 2 days. Now while I haven’t confirmed yet, my lady feels her perfume isn’t what she smelled in the store. So maybe they missed the mark on it, but my cologne was on point
A problem they "used to have"? Lol Canceled orders due to "no stock" is my main problem with them. They just did it last week to me. It's happened more than I can count.
Pls stop with the cut scenes. They’re too frequent and annoying. Everyone does it now, even the news. And it’s soooo over. The best stuff is YOUR content.
Let’s not hate on the guy for trying something new. I swear you people are never happy. It’s either “wah 😢 this is the same recycled content” or “wah 😢 stop doing something new, we want the old recycled content”
If I was a programmer, I would make a bot to pull the best prices by particular fragrance. I am amazed it doesn't exist yet. They have it for ammunition.
Fragancenet nowadays it’s lame , I’ve bought 1 thousand dollars and I’m from Montreal and took literally 3 weeks to ship ( NY Is 1 flight from Montreal )
My order has been waiting for more than a week and it asks me to send additional information so that they can process my order, it has already raised my suspicions, can someone tell me if this problem is solved, if the order arrives? or does it not arrive?
Yea I’ll be honest it’s getting to the point where I’m paying 10$ more just to get it from Sephora. I only buy from discounters if it’s a major discount other than that I want retail for only a few dollars more
Same over in the UK with allbeauty, prices have shot up. Like others have said mid level designer is now £100+ and let's be real it's not worth the price.
Absolutely - Allbeauty used to be incredible for pricing a few years ago, no other site came close to their pricing... but now many of the scents on there seem barely cheaper than full retail price... 😅 Notino is currently the 🐐 with its pricing... but who knows how long that will last either... 😢
@@GentsScents - I’m not even sure if I know if I care. All the info I could find was vague and confusing, so I gave up. If you did a video where you explained it like you would to a five year old, I might be able to figure out the significance of the legislation and if or how it could effect me.
They're going to start pricing themselves out of the game as the economy slows. Discounters will be able to buy lots for cheaper in 2024-2025 and thus will be able to sell them cheaper and so companies who are more expensive will soon be priced out.
It is pretty wild that you can pay $90 more on Fragnet for 3 Manceras than on Fragbuy... which means you can get a 4th Mancera for the same price...which is pretty smooth brain on Fragnet's part. LOL
Problem is they use onTrac for shipping so I’ll never ever buy from them again. My hunter intense took over a month and it’s all on trans fault as it was sitting in my city two days after my order, and was delayed for a month. Half of that time it was sitting outside in the 118 Fahrenheit Arizona sun.
Yeah they are changing over retail on some fragrances for instance Dior sav is $130 or more for 100ml and you can get on any other retail stores for $120 and most the time $105
I can't remember the last time I ordered anything from them, and I have made a LOT of orders the past 6 months or so. I think I've constantly been waiting for packages in the mail for months lol. Fragnet has been worthless to look at for a while.
Just received a fake Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait bottle. Was on hold for 30 minutes, wasn’t gonna hang up it’s Black Friday I’m off lol & they sent me a shipping return label within an hr of me getting it in the mail. Never again!
I just got 2 perfumes from them and both are fake or expired.... :( They don't accept returns of open bottles so I guess I'm stuck with 2 fake VERY EXPENSIVE perfumes!!! NEVER buy discounted perfumes online guyz, trust me! Unless it's from official website. I've learned my lesson.
In South Africa, the prices of fragrances has jumped by maybe 60% in the last 2 years. A bottle of Mont Blanc Explorer 100ml edp costs the equivalent of $100 (R1800), which is astronomical. Mid-tier designers are like $110. *These super inflated prices are coming to a market near you* 😉👍
They already are. I have a bunch of perfumes that are over 100ml, I bought them all under $100 dollars; Armani, Azarro, V&R Spice Bomb, etc... I checked the prices now. Over $100.
I ordered a bottle of Cloud for my girlfriend from FragranceNet and paid the extra $20 for 2 day shipping. It took 7 total days before they actually shipped it out.
There’s a ton of macro trends effecting this. Corporate mergers on the back end, retail behavior on the front end, distribution channels, etc. Fewer retail brick and mortar stores leads to smaller inventories. Hopefully things turn around and we start seeing more value instead of less, but there are a lot of institutional hurdles in the way.
Just saw this video, am my opinion fragrance discounting is dying or already dead. After looking on fragrance net recently, I discovered almost every major popular fragrance that people want to buy is overpriced. I noted at least 12 major brands where Macy’s was actually cheaper. if this continues honestly, it would make more sense just to go to a Macy’s or Dillards and actually buy something you can smell. Discounting is dead.
I’m curious if this change has anything to do with their opening of brick and mortar stores. I visited one in NY and the selection was decent but best deal was 25% off their retail - I believe it was buy 3 bottles and get 25% off.
Are they knock off why they so cheap compared to getting at store like Macy or Nordstrom I get bulk whole sale but creed at macys is like 400 but on fragrance net is 200 are they fake has anyone done a comparison to see would like to know
I recently bought 2 Parfums de Marley and BOTH are counterfeit! Can not get an answer back from customer service after calling them and voicing my concern they immediately hung up on me!
