It's wild these days to see how far and how good the quality is on so many videos and channels on RU-vid. What was once the fodder for the specially trained and the folks who worked in studios. Both hardware and software have become more affordable and available to a greater mass of people thanks to it. It's no where near perfect but there's many an incredible gem on RU-vid that makes it all worth it. ❤❤🎉

Radiation exposure is one of my greatest fears. It’s mostly invisible and undetectable unless you have a Geiger counter… I read about the people who lived down wind of the Trinity Test in New Mexico in the early forties. The bomb was detonated at five in the morning and it jolted people out of their beds. Two sisters looked outside and saw what looked like snow falling. They put on their bathing suits and went out to play in the radioactive fallout that they didn’t know was deadly. They rolled around in it and smeared it on their faces and bodies. Their community was only 35 miles away from the test site, and they weren’t warned or notified about the possibility of deadly exposure to radiation. Most people who were unknowingly exposed to the fallout were stricken with multiple cancers and autoimmune disorders in a disproportionate amount. The government finally admitted to their negligence and mistakes and awarded compensation to the victims of the devastating effects of radiation exposure that they caused during the Manhattan Project.

My favorite part about astronomy is how much it develops in a very short period of time. And when these advancements occur, the discovery is an exponential leap forward in science and cosmology. To think that just a century ago, we didn’t know that we were living in only one of countless galaxies and the Milky Way was alone in the universe. Black holes were just recently confirmed to exist in half the time

Like voice extracted from the track but forgot delete that in subtitle? Anyway I’m in love with this channel. Science mix with poem, philosophy in a beautifully narrative way.

49:49 My understanding is that intermediate black holes used to be a mystery in the early 2000s but that's no longer the case. There are several hundred of them identified according to the astronomical databases I looked at briefly to confirm this. Finding them actually hasn't done much for advancing any theories about super massive black hole formation at the center of galaxies, but they have found a lot of them.

Quasars are incredibly important in understanding the early universe and its evolution. They are the brightest and most energetic objects in the universe, powered by supermassive black holes at the centers of galaxies. Quasars emit massive amounts of energy across the electromagnetic spectrum, allowing astronomers to study them across vast distances. In terms of the universe's creation, quasars provide insights into the formation and growth of galaxies. They are believed to have been more common in the early universe, playing a crucial role in the formation of galaxies by influencing their structure and evolution through processes like galaxy mergers and black hole accretion. Regarding Earth, quasars indirectly impact us by contributing to the cosmic environment and the distribution of matter in the universe. They influence the formation of stars and galaxies, which ultimately contribute to the cosmic conditions necessary for the existence of planets like Earth. Additionally, studying quasars helps scientists understand phenomena such as black hole dynamics, which can have implications for our understanding of fundamental physics and the universe's behavior.

The most powerful thing in the Universe is often considered to be a black hole or supermassive black holes. The gravitational pull is so strong that nothing, not even light, can escape. Their power comes from their mass and the gravitational influence they exert over their surroundings. Supermassive black holes, which can be millions to billions of times the mass of our Sun, lie at the center of most large galaxies, including our own. They have the ability to affect the formation and evolution of galaxies, and their gravitational forces can create incredibly high-energy phenomena, such as quasars and active galactic nuclei, which are among the brightest and most energetic objects in our universe. Fundamental forces of the universe (gravitational, electromagnetic, strong nuclear, and weak nuclear) are also incredibly powerful, each in their own way, and govern the behaviour of matter and energy at different scales. Single, identifiable entity, supermassive black holes are often highlighted for their sheer power and influence in the cosmic landscape. But still, it is possible that the strongest in the universe could be Chuck Norris.

I dont understand anything, but i know my lifes problem will not make the earth stop, nor universe wait, it will go on and on. And how are and unique we are to have life, because life is a strange phenomenal in this universe, we are special, we are rare, we may be the only life around, the only existence, the only life that knows about the universe. We may be the Alien that we are looking for, Earthlings are special
