@@donovanblackwelder4301saidism doesn't really care for who is right or wrong so that's not really possible. A psychopath would be more accurate as I can't say sadism isn't a human trait. Juji had to bring a psychopathic mentallity to take his opponent away, overcome maybe it still cost himself too highly for to be complete. It's less of a victory more just survival.
Bro, Yuji hitting that man with, "I am you" Has got to be the most satisfying moments ever. You could listen to Mahito's cries on repeat to sleep istg.
He was so gleefully horrible and evil, I hated his guts and loved it at the same time. Just TOTALLY irredeemable and sadistic. Fantastic villain, absolutely fantastic.
Trunks: "What was his name?" #17: "Pardon?" Trunks: "The man who trained me. My brother in all but blood. The man you killed. What was his name?" #17: "... Goku Jr?" Trunks: "Wrong answer!" *kick to the face* Sorry if the TFS dialogue's inaccurate. It's been a while since I've watched it.
@@johnnygyro2295yeah thats sick but trunk couldbr had god ki with beerus training him btw the andriod action made a domnio effect that erased his entire universe all of that pain and suffereing for nothing in the end
That argument is so stupid though. Yuji has a very specific target and motive to kill him. He isn't doing it for fun. It's always a stupid argument against vengeance. Screw that moral grand standing.
You right, but hear me out right quick. The androids killed almost EVERYBODY Trunks knew, wiped out the majority of the people on the planet, and then murked Gohan on top of it. They brought ruin to that entire timeline, all because THEY WERE BORED. Trunks getting his getback and then blitzing Cell was supremely satisfying.
Yuji vs Mahito was better. The androids died too quickly against trunks so they never really got to experience pain. Mahito felt nothing but pain and fear in his final moments.
@@NadiaLeeTalbotDid you even watch dbz? That man had everything taken from him. His whole life was in fear, because of them. Constantly remind how alone he was and powerless he was. Every. Day. He didnt care about suffering, torture or any other emotion those psychopathic andriods couldnt feel..HE WANTED THEM GONE! THERE WAS NOTHING LEFT TO SAY. Thats Trunks whole personality...you do evil, you go down, no questions. This isn't fun, not a game, testing my power, nor pleasurable, this is business. They are like lint that needs to be removed. Trunks in it of himself was just a well developed satisfying character...how could you not root for him
For me it's definitely Trunks because every other villain on the list was under orders or something similar but the Androids just did it because it was fun. After Goku died, they didn't really need to do anything they just started doing shit for no reason, and that ended up getting Gohan packed up. So it was DEFINITELY satisfying seeing Trunks absolutely humiliate them
Yeah plus Mahito was one of many curses born from people’s negative traits/ emotions. They tormented trunks for fun since his very beginnings very personal.
@@REHEHEHEEH0 Everything Trunks did wasn't completley erased by zeno. Whis sent to a different timeline where he had already killed the andriods, so his legacy of beating the andriods remains, just in a different timeline.
Mahito goal was more of a group goal what he did during the process or on the side was completely unnecessary like going around turning humans bigger or smaller yes he did this shit
For me, it's Trunks. This is based on how much suffering that the Androids from his timeline had brought to him and the ones that he loved, especially Gohan, so it was emotionally satisfying that Trunks had his payback on them and their actions.
@REHEHEHEEH0 Yeah, but he still got his payback from the androids, cell, goku black, and zamasu, so despite how depressing losing a universe he got some peace out of it.
For me it’s when Josuke beat Enigma Boy up so bad he turned into a book. He even told him beforehand, “The moment I turn into paper you better rip me to shreds because if I get out of here, I’m gonna kill your ass”
This is what makes Mahito a fantastic character. The guy's presence wasn't annoying or grating. He didn't overstay his welcome. He's a textbook example of a villain you love to hate. He did the most vile shit which made his downfall satisfying instead of annoyed relief. His defeat made you think "ITS ABOUT DAMN TIME LETS GO!" instead of "ugh finally he's gone." Edit: Being a contrarian doesn't automatically make you intelligent. It just makes you pompous.
As iconic as Yuji beating Mahito is, for me personally, nothing tops Roy Mustang flaming Envy. The build up over multiple seasons of Roy tracking down Hughe's killer, the voice acting, the music, seeing Envy go from being smug and arrogant to utterly terrified once he realizes Roy is Him is just top tier.
Its definitely Trunks killing the Andriods. They terrorized him all his life and killed his mentor. Watching the andriods fold when they had actual competition was so satisfying
Honestly i loved that whole sequence with Yuji's speech, because it basically boils down to "you said I'm just like you, and you were right." And saying that to someone like Mahito is a horrifying comparrison.
A lot of the comments were saying Shikamaru, so I feel you. For me personally, its between Trunks and Itadori tho. The only downside to Itadori's is that he isn't the one who got to finish Mahito.
Yuji v mahito is great and all but there is just something about trunks completely destroying and ending his enemies asap that is so damn satisfying. Especially for an anime that’s known for dragging fights out or purposely letting your enemies power up to full. Future Trunks seems to be the only guy to be saying “nah you’re taking this L now, and not a moment later”
Reminds me of a statement TeamFourStar made back then. You just have trunks going back in time seeing how incompetent the z fighters are by dragging things out. Going back to his time he’s having none of that. He even tells Cell, yeah if you were in your perfect form I would lose. Too bad you’re not going to get even close to that. Then just takes them out. Trunks is there for business.
Trunks with the androids is it for me, because of them he grew up in an apocalypse, lost one of the only connections he had in his friend and mentor gohan to them, and maybe worst of all when he asked them why they did all this, they basically responded with “because we can”, trunks handing them their asses is to this day one of my favorite scenes
When Mahito got got, I was fcking cheering. It was awesome to see in the manha and even better in the anime. He's a well done villain because I loathed that S.O.B. and couldn't wait for him to get what was coming to him.
For me it’s Jotaro not only beating the hell out of Steely Dan, but then proceeding to write him a RECEIPT for all the damages he caused him and the rest of the crew, like that’s some next level disrespect
Yeah i dont think thats gonna happen buddy, even if he gets turned into a damn. Nugget with every limb cut off he would prob still laugh in yuji's face
The amazing thing about patchy the bum end is the fact he is the living embodiment of fear towards humans and as long as humans exist he will come back so him runing from a human in fear and wanting to live is just beautiful
I'm a glazer for the adult gon scene, probably my favorite scene in anime. Every time I watch gons transformation I get chills, and I've watched it dozens of times.
THIS IS FOR GOHAN! Will always be so satisfying and iconic for me. Future Trunks went through damn near everything and getting that revenge in the androids and cell was perfect
As much as I may agree with him, the trunks moment is all kinds of feels, from the asswhoopin he absolutely ran a clinic on the androids with to the moment he shouts into the sky "the nightmare is over cell, now die" after given imperfect cell the absolute wetwork, shit talking the whole time, as a kid when i watched it, it was definitely one of those beat your chest moments getting to watch.
Still gotta rock with Trunks..they took everything from him..everything but his mom. He had to fight alone with no expert training, no friends, just a fallen mentor and always reminded hes not strong enough with death on the horizon.. Trunks eliminating them and then finished up cell too...no play, no arrogance, just straight business...yeah. Trunks deserved that win.
I absolutely love Mahito's down fall. He really tried pulling the whole "If you kill me, you're just as bad as me" schtick only for Yuji to just be like "ok."
Thought watching the deadly sins and Father get their comeuppance in FMA was satisfying, but watching Mahito getting his ass obliterated reached a level of euphoria
What I took from this, is that nearing death, you see others for who they really are. Dont be murderous if you're gonna piss and cry when you about to die.
For me is shikamaru's because how cathartic is the moment for him. Gon's and Yuuji's are somehow sad and the protagonist is in more pain than the villan.
Just to add to the pile, I think the majority of the beatdowns from Jojo’s Part 5 (Chiocalata and Procsiuto) also fit into this category, and the Johnny v. Valentine fight from Part 7 as well.
Thats the best part about Mahito: He was made to be hated. A villian that pulls no punches. Then when he finally gets whats coming to him, its that much better.
I will say Mahito had one of the funnest and coldest villian lines when Yuji yelled at him. "YOU DONT HAVE TO SHOUT I CAN HEAR YOU JUST FINE." I have never seen a villian do that before, and if it wasnt for still being in shock that my favroite anime charecter Nanami had just died. I would have been cheering for Mahito
