I’m O Negative I have a lot of relatives that come from Basque. They have the largest concentration of our age negative people. My 15th great grandfather was one of the kings of Navarro. I have found that blood type does help match regions that people are from. I am 0 negative my grandmother is 0 negative my father 0 negative my cousins are negative and my daughter is 0 negative. I believe that 7% of the world is 0 neg. other Rh negative‘s are much less and rare.

Donna Spencer well I’m Black and O- and so is my Mom, so was my Dad, so is my step Dad and so are plenty of my friends. We know because we are universal donors and can only take blood from other O- people and my Dad, step Dad and one of my good friends all learned from the Military they were O-.

I wish I could understand how I was born O- and later changed to A-. That is without surgery, or blood added from other sources. As well as no illness known for it to happen.

This has been due to unusual circumstances, such as having a bone marrow transplant or getting certain types of cancers or infections. Not all of the changes in blood type are permanent." It's also possible one of your blood type tests was a misread.
@@FamilyHistoryFanatics I never had any of that happen, and it wasn't misread by the same reading up until I was in my 20's and then it changed. Because it came up different they tested multiple times to verify. Ever since then, I have been stuck with A- instead of O-.
@@leozama1 hair color and eye color doesn't determine the blood type. Blood type is more genetic than hair and eye color since genes can be dormant and show up generations later.
And i think it would be better to stay in your blood line to save health issues even if rhogan shots are available it seems to be a difficult issue still for some people.

Just had a panel, read my results. HIV Negative, Syphilis Negative, ABO type O, RH factor Positive. Me an idiot: "Oh no, I have RH factor" Doctors, please put RH factor in a different section than blood born diseases. I’m O negative and it’s some rumor out there that Black people don’t have it much but my Mother is 96% African and RH- and my Father was also O- and plenty of my Black friends are also O-. Its seems almost everyone I hang out with is RH-, I don’t think we are some isolated thing, I think less Black people get tested and know there blood type.

Rh factor is a specific blood protein. It has to do with blood compatibility. Positive can get negative blood, but negative getting positive blood causes bad things to happen.

Is it really so simple? I got tested and I'm O+. My brother is O-, he has been a universal donor for some time now. He and I match segments for the RHD gene on our maternal side, but not paternal. According to my Nebula whole genome, I am TT at rs590787. Someone else I have seen on reddit says that even though you may have a T, there could be a mutation somewhere else in the gene which makes you negative. Is this true? Edit: My mother is also A-

Part of it is because you only need 1 positive gene to be positive while you need 2 negative genes to be negative, so naturally 75% would be positive and 25% would be negative. Then if there are some evolutionary pressures which would supress offspring that were negative, then that would decrease it more.

I use the Family Search Family Tree. There are only 3 lines that I actively search, one goes back to 1821, and the other two back to the 1600s. Everyone else may have information and sources that I haven't looked at or verified because it is a shared tree.

Just different and unique....for me it comes with pure strictly disabilities autism/add and adhd and tourettes. My Father has grab mal seizures (epilepsy) or as I do my german shepherd. Most pple don't get it or understand. Got bullied literally growing up on all ends along with my daughters. I believe the reason we want to talk about this is the extreme of a baby being hurt or damaged during what should be a baby's sweet journey here to earth inside moms womb and it causes us worry and sadness sometimes as to why it's this way,also we have different physical things going on that we can't go to a doctor and expect same treatment as positive because of different blood pressure averages pulse etc such things as some of us do better vegan so doctors seem to be trained mostly for positives this is why it's not boring for some of us we need to know what is hidden from us and our beloved offspring not boring!
