As a lifelong Chelsea fan, Real Madrid are the biggest club in football history, hence the reason why even top premier league players, even when they are offered more than what Real offer for salary, still join, to play for a historic club and Florentino Perez is probably the greatest Chairman of all time for a football team simply of what he's achieved and learned after his first stint i.e. making the mistake of selling makelele.
I don't think that is the case anymore. I think the Glacticos Project is over for a long time. Perez has realized that he can't compete with oil money so now he is investing in young talents. Valverder, Rodrygo, Vini, Camavinga and now Endrick. Real got all of these in a total sum of less than 200M.
From 2008 to 2014, Real Madrid did not win any EU competition. But trusted the process and kept going. A simple process many other great clubs failed to implement
Preach. 💪🏻 They act like we have it easy. It took hard work to be where we are now. Also we didn't win any UCL championship from 2003 until 2014. We are definitely a club that deserves respect. A SELF MADE club
@@WhiterunMenace this is nothing they didn't win UCL from 1967 to 1997....... that's 30 years and reason was the rise of AC Milan......i hope they don't UCL for another 30 years from 2023 to 2053 and in that period man City and PSG bag 5 , 5 UCL each and even Barca and Bayern with 5
I just think it's the mentality. They feel as though they are the best and they carry that aura on to the football pitch. They never panic and most importantly they take all there chances and score.
Here's another reason: leadership. Back in 2014 when I became a Madrid fan (after the decima), I thought that when Ramos left the club, we would lose our competitive edge because I believed his presence on the pitch was essential. Fast forward 8yrs later and he is not at all missed. I am shocked by how fast players adapt to the system and how they look not like mere employees of the club, but like partners, like socios. In a way, they are all captains. Real Madrid players seem to play with a different energy, they seem to have more skin in the game. What they did in that semifinal against City in the Bernabéu, no other club is capable of doing. There is definitely something magical about this club. They compete like no other.
@@simonifatovic401 he's kinda right isn't he?? our defence is still lacking, and his presence would be prefered, but the team adapted and won the trophy...
Tactically, Real are one of the most versatile team that can adapt to any playing style with regards to how their opponents played. This is very effective and tends to be overlooked in their road to success
The machine is called Luka Modric. He was always the engine and when he was healthy RM would go on and win CL. Give him decent front like Benz, Vini and Rodrigo , you got your self CL. It’s that simple with this guy.He does same for Croatias squad. Luka is a game changer and w/out him on the pitch, RM nor Croatia would ever be able to win as much. Facts
The most important part in last UCL comebacks is mentality. No club in the world is under the pressure Real Madrid is, and it’s not because of the fans (trust me, we are not that bad), but because the disgusting, nasty and disrespectful spanish media. Media can disrespect and insult any Real Madrid player for hours 7 days a week, no matter the player is 20 or having a hard time. So those who can deal with such pressure and stay in the club, become mentality monsters.
Confidence. But also they are far less tired when it comes to a final. Players are well rested and focus is on CL only most seasons. Which is why barca also win most of theit finals
proud to be real madrid fan, there are only rare occasions where club makes profits in business and at same time achieve glory in domestic and european levels.tho i hate those fans who boo our players who has done more to our club. real madrid has no philosophy, why u need philosophy when u have tactically sound and talent gifted players in ur squad.just building team chemistry is enough to make them achieve glory. ancelotti once said"to manage madrid,i just need to tel how to organize defence.attacking is all about creativity and individual technical aspect of players.modric does the pass at times I didnt ask him to do" people say fans are demanding, bruh we were trophyless since 2008 to 2014 in europe.and we had 3 straight defeats in la loga.we had changed enumber of managers from 2000 to 2009.there was rebuild process going on in every period.until we found our man 'JOSE MOURINHO" who has instilled the winning mentality in our players and carried it even after leaving from madrid. whatever u say, perez did a great job tht no one else did to their own club.
@@josemanueld5413 no mourihno made the team including the Galaticos gel together and be cohesive. Also play counter attacking football style. He made Madrid win lA liga and reach 3 consecutive UCL semi finals. He ended Barca’s dominance from 2008-12. Ancelotti just finished the job of winning the UCL season after. But mourihno paved the way for the foundations.
@@richardparker8168 Mourinho is an egocentric and toxic coach and doesn‘t know how to manage the locker room without creating conflicts with and among the players. It was a relieve when he left Real Madrid.
Like another comment said, we didn't win any European title from 2008-2014. We didn't win the Champions League from 2003 until 2014. The success you see at our club took years of hard work. We did not and we do not have it made on a silver platter. It took everything from the fans to the management to get us where we are today. No point in being jealous. Build your club up. There is no excuses.
@@carlludwigsand3130Bale gave all for the Whites? How, -was it the countless times he sat on the bench of his own accord instead of playing? -Was it the golfing games while the team played major leagues? -Was it the wales flag that he raised saying Madrid is last? Gareth Bales ruined his OWN career. He could've been the greatest British person to EVER play football. But HE chose not to
Also don't make promises like winning the world cup, oopsi, he just got thrashed out of the world cup by the mighty Moroccan's n on the other hand he lifted the world cup n also completed football securing 43 titles n also if you see 1 world cup is far more precious than 5 champions league, so keep crying 😂😂😂
Real buy good players and develop their own young players. They do it consistently and the club is professionally and ruthlessly run from from the top down. Can't imagine Real persevering with a center half (Van Dyck) whose knee injury appears to have robbed him of both confidence and a yard of pace. And Real would have binned Alexander-Arnold a long time ago. How long do you stick with a right back whose defending is frankly laughable. Real don't have weaknesses. Just great players with great attitudes...always a winning combination.
Simply speaking ( doesn't matter whichever team you support) Never compare any club with real Madrid......they even don't have the half that Madrid has..... It is the best.........it might be hard to believe for others..... doesn't matter.... Madrid goes on.....
Football Heritage. Best players in the world wants to play there and they have a champion's mentality. Real Madrid creates warriors. The exact opposite of Barca. Notice how Messi, Suarez etc would stat paddle when their team is doing good, but when the team is playing bad, and needed them to carry, they become ghost. Real creates fighters who are exact opposite of that. 4 UCL in 5 years. The greatest team there ever was.
But they haven't been doing well in the league for the last 10 years, that means if the UCL was still only for league champions, Madrid would have won it only twice in the last 10 years
@@wamnicho La Liga? Are you sure La Liga should be prioritized over the UCL? Just look at Barcelona's account on winning more La Liga title prize money in the past 10 years, compared to Madrid's UCL prize money in the last 10 years.. and tell me who made more money from those prize money?
@@naufalpahlevi8976 it's not that much of a difference, Barcelona was still playing in the champions league and reaching very far in the competition, so the prize money was not that big compared to Barcelona, it only becomes big when Barcelona drops to Europa League. Barcelona money problems began when they spent the money they got from Neymar transfer to psg stupidly, they overpaid for average players that didn't suit their system instead of going back to la masia and developing talent
@@wamnicho It's big if you understand the reason why Barca failed in UCL and UEL, and why Madrid success in UCL but only second in La Liga in the last 10 years.. Madrid never had any doubt to play their backups such as Asensio, Lucas Vazques in La Liga hoping for a draw instead of pushing their players so hard to play both La Liga and UCL adding injury risk.. Madrid play flexible game making it hard for them to score against weak team but it can be deadly for Big Teams who never faced them and because it's flexible, the backup players can fill in a different role for different circumstances Barca on the other hand, has their own specific way to play, the First squad, which make it difficult for backups to perform as well as their starters
@@naufalpahlevi8976 but very soon, Madrid will have it's most experienced players leave, benzema, modric, caval etc are all on their last legs, then they will have to rebuild, champions league also depends on a lot of luck, forexmple in the 2000s, Madrid had every galactico you could ever think of and they only won one UCL in like 13 years (2000-2013)
I don't think it started with Carlo leading them to the La Decima. I think the club had been missing that winning mentality due to a string of poor record of being knocked out of the round of 16 in the UCL so many times in the prior decade where they won only the league a handful times and it went even downfor them when they hadn't even challenged for the league in 3 years with Pep's Barcelona just cruising through and dominating the competition. So I think it all began with Mourinho leading them to the Copa Del Rey victory against Barcelona in the final and the league win with a record number of points, where they beat Pep's Barcelona for the first time in a single league match as well as the league itself, is what started it all. That was what instilled that long missing winning mentality in the club as they started to believe that they can beat a team that is being touted as one of the greatest ever club side, if not the best ever, a side that has been UCL champions twice in 3 years and I have no doubt that if it wasn't for the falling out between Mou and Iker, that eventually spread to the whole squad, it would have been Jose to deliver the La Decima. Nonetheless, even if it wasn't Jose, several key player who helped win the La Decima were brought by him with the same vision and Carlo almost got an assembled team waiting to be managed into being champions. Jose laid the foundations of that team, Carlo saw it through. I hope to see Jose at Madrid again sometime
Put a simple: the Champions League is only open for Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. In old history, we have AC Milan, Juventus, Manchester United, and Liverpool, but now they are just a normal clubs other than European giants. Even Barcelona have lost their identity after two Europa League exits.
The only team that can go against Real Madrid champions league DNA is AC Milan. Their already back in the champions but I feel like they’ll only get better and go against Real Madrid to win it once again 🔴⚫️🙏🏼
PRIDE ! EXCELLENT recruitment ! Every kid dreams of playing for Real Madrid or Manchester United , Club first first excellence from the owner through to the ballboy winning mentality ! Unlike some clubs they breed a loyalty into there players winning and wearing the shirt is more important than money ! But the scouts the academy the boardroom everybody plays an important role in that Champion Machine .
All true except the owner part, RM has no private owner like most of the English clubs it's owned by its fans - socios, which is another reason why it is so successful.
@@jasenkosalihovic62 so very true my friend ! As a Manchester United fan Real Madrid is the only team I look up too ! And hopefully won't be looking up too but enjoying a rivalry of the two greatest clubs on the planet ! We remember how you offered us players after Munich ! Our friendship goes beyond greatness and respect ! Enjoy your C.L celebrations this year ! By the way can we have Benzema for a year (PLEASE) all the best Champs !
Woah, whoever the guy behind this video he's really good at analize it. I bet he's a high profile football consultant who led a club to european glory. What club do u consult again? Man City?
I'm a Barca fan since my childhood, though Real Madrid are our fiercest rivals they just followed a simple plan that, invest in young + some talented experienced ones + decent manager who can create something out of nothing n you'll see the monester it'll create. Simple as that. Where Real invested in young talent n also some experienced ones, Barca under bastard Bartameou failed to do so cause you can build a team with great players but if you don't have a top coach to direct that team to glory then sorry you'll get nothing out of it n that what happened with Barca. Also, Real not only thrashed rival teams but also created a fear of facing this team for others. What Real have done is very appreciable but on the other hand( things aren't gonna be good for Real Madrid from this point of this comment, So if you can't handle it then please skip the comment from here ) Real Madrid fans have the most toxic environment like always winning is the key to success which is like very false, they just don't accept the defeat or draw, whether it's from Barcelona or Manchester City or any other European Teams, this attitude one day might kill the dreams of every youngster who wants to play for Real Madrid. Also, Madrid fans are very physical when it comes to any disappointments from their game. This is all the later part of the comments are my experiences with the Madrid supporters whether it's the Clasico or UCL games. Majorly, if any young player wants to join Real then it's a golden opportunity but with that comes a very difficult part, where if they join they have to show their quality from day 1.
They don't have the pressure of been overhyped by the Spanish press ! They are not told how good they are ! Simply put you would not be there unless you have a champions .mentality and ability ! You perform or your gone ! Excuses or any reason for not playing like a champ means your gone ! And after Real Madrid there is only one way to go and that's down . Every player knows this and you play every game knowing you are living every kids dream ! 2 good games even 3 a month means your a failure ! So they get not only players with the best skill and ability ! But more importantly with steel mentality ! They are the special forces of football ! That's why they want Sancho and McTomminy and Phil Jones and Trent Alexander and wonder boy Kane winners baby !
It's a club that knows how to assemble a squad for extra time football. They're good enough to play lazily until the 75th minute and still manage to stay in the game.
No wonder Real Madrid wanted the Super League because they already won everything that is. Sure they won’t win everything in every season but why should they? They’ve completed football at this point one that every club can only dreamed of.
There is no luck in sports, only hard work, concentration, determination, confidence and skill, and to call a team that won CL 4 times in 5 years lucky is insanity.
You can’t say “ownership”. Real Madrid belong 100% to their members no to Florentino. Florentino was elected in democratic elections. PSG? City? Bayern? There you have one big difference
La Liga has dominated European competition. Champions league (real Madrid), club world cup (real madrid),Europa League (Sevilla), supa cup(real madrid and Barcelona). It should be the biggest league in the world not EPL.
Perez is not the owner of Real Madrid, the associate members ("socios") are the owners. Perez is the President and first executive, and has been elected by the "socios"
It's called "the Gods if football decide"...and there's the little concept of bussiness. Madrid is the king of Europe because it gets decided behind closed doors
Y only talk about Madrid football club or Manchester football club or Milan football club 😡😡...Raja Casablanca also played club football..so did al ahly and Beijing and Kerala...it's afterall just a club competition that still more than half of the world don't care about...
Who was the “best cyclist “ of all time , who won the Tour de France one after another ??? Real, Barca, Man City, Chelsea, PSG… all the titles about financial doping Are WORTHLESS
